Two Tigers in Schiphol

Ordered udon noodles but got ramen noodles (there were random udon noodle pieces in the soup then). Only one person behind the counter taking orders and she took one order at a time per 7 minutes. 1-2 people working in the kitchen when there were 4 on duty.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has decided that serving ramen in tall plastic cups is a good idea. It’s impractical, unpleasant to eat from, and makes the whole meal feel incredibly cheap. The rice in the poke bowl was extremely dry, and the bowl itself had a use-by date of the SAME DAY it was served. For the price, the amount of salmon was honestly ridiculous — I’d estimate around 30 grams. There wasn’t even soy sauce served with the food. Instead, you had to go searching for it yourself in some grimy little container tucked away in a corner. No sriracha mayo either. My girlfriend’s ramen somehow managed to be even worse. There was a strange red object/ingredient floating in the soup that neither of us could identify. She ate it and afterwards genuinely had no idea what she had just eaten, which is not exactly the feeling you want after ordering food from a restaurant. The service was just as bad. The staff were incredibly slow, seemed completely disorganized, and even called out the wrong order number. Because of THEIR mistake, our ramen sat there waiting unnecessarily while we had no idea it was ours. No apology, no compensation, nothing. I was honestly close to returning the entire meal, but I’m normally not the kind of person who complains or makes a scene over food. This experience was so unbelievably bad, though, that I’m making an exception. Dry rice, laughably small portions of salmon, questionable ingredients, terrible presentation, chaotic service, and absolutely no attempt to make things right when the staff made a mistake. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. I would absolutely not recommend this place.

Ordered chicken noodle soup. Tasted like nothing and was only lukewarm even after "heating" it in the microwave. The tall container made it practically inedible. A disaster for almost €20.

Just few minutes ago we went there before our boarding. Ordered a pack of sushi and gyoza. It was not evident that we could just take them out ourselves. The staff was not welcoming at all. To the point of being rude. They heated up the gyoza and didn't put the lid back. When I asked for a bag, the expression was like as if I have asked for something impossible. With this overpriced food, the service is really horrible, the food is not that great. Overall a BAD EXPERIENCE. PAID ALMOST 42 euros for 7 gyozas and 9 sushis. Really overpriced with bad service.

Whoever think it is a good idea to serve noodles in a cup must be only thinking about profit. So hard to eat, and no logic to eat. At least give a proper bowl type. Charsiu is cubed shaped and the protein u get is less than anything I've paid here in AMS. Last time buying noodles from here. Cup noodle is much more worth it if I wanna eat from a cup.

Rude staff, and 19€ for some dressed up instant noodles which, if you had told me were a ready meal from the supermarket I would’ve believed it. Cheap, unseasoned ingredients thrown into a bowl with some mediocre broth. Save your money.

The food had absolutely nothing to do with Asian flavor. The soup had barely any flavor, and the topping (mine included chicken) was served cold. For €19, it's a disgrace.

This is the most tasteless sushi I have ever had. I also asked for Gyoza, and the lady behind the counter seemed annoyed because you would then have to understand that you have to pick it yourself from the counter. Regret not choosing Burger King!

I'm doing all the cooking and accounting by myself, so I guess it can't be helped that she's a girl, but I wonder who's responsible for the flavor. I have dietary restrictions so I'm used to bland meals, but even if a child made it, it might be a little better. It was a miso udon with absolutely no flavor, salt, or oil. All the vegetables were raw (no boiled Chinese cabbage). Did you wash them? Bacteria won't die in lukewarm soup!

Bad food for the high price they charge. As some reviews mention: I regret not having read them first—don’t make the same mistake! I ordered a chicken udon miso soup, but it turned out to be just some broth (probably not even homemade) with lots of cabbage and a few pieces of chicken. It also came with a boiled egg that I don’t think was fresh, it tasted a bit sour (I assumed the flavor came from the broth) and 15 minutes after eating I had to spend half an hour on the toilet (luckily I was early for my flight). The staff didn’t look very professional; they were busy joking with each other while some customers were waiting, though I didn’t mind that too much.

It was definitly not chashu, the broth wasnt bad but definitly a store-bought one. I ordered udon noodles but got another ones (says udon on recipe). Also didnt hear at all that my number was said, the girl didnt bother to shout it out again. I wish i saw the reviews first.

Filthy environment and staff that either don't show up or don't care. With a family, you pay over €100 for mediocre sushi and soup. Tables are being washed, and you have to clean up after yourself. The floor is covered in trash. You get used to things at Schiphol, but this was simply unacceptable.

The soups were very bad, had hardly any flavor, the vegetables were raw, and were served in tall paper cups that were barely edible. Quite expensive. Seating was limited and dirty. It was enough to keep me warm, but it wasn't enjoyable.

Dear Two Tigers Team, I recently ordered noodles from your restaurant and was shocked to find an insect in my meal (photo attached). I must say, I expected Two Tigers, not Two Tigers and One Insect. This was extremely off-putting and unacceptable, especially considering the premium prices you charge. I was excited for a good meal, but instead, I was left disgusted and unable to eat it. I hope you take food safety seriously and address this issue promptly. I would also like a refund for my order and some reassurance that this won’t happen again. Looking forward to your response.

Quite possibly the least "Ramen" I've ever had. The noodles deteriorate to mush, the "Chashu is definitely not that, it's some roasted pork without any flavour. The" Miso ramen" I'm quite sure they just mix dashinomoto broth with instant miso soup pack. And the crimes of adding sweetcorn, cabbage, hard boiled eggs (not Ajitama). I'm sorry that I bought food here.

They always close early, even though their official hours say they're open until 9 PM they often shut down well before 8. Also, they treat customers differently, which is really disappointing.

Nothing is good here. Not in my experience in any place on earth have I tasted something as useless as the ramen soup in this place. I simply cannot comprehend how it is possible to make something like it. The sushi slightly better, but still below ready made supermarket stuff. No professional pride whatsoever.

The sushi was ‘very mediocre’ but the service was an unbeatable low. Everywhere dirt and trash on the ground. The service staff could not care less about the customers. Same management as @laplace next door and such a ‘dump’ … wake up La Place management … shape it up or shut it down! 🫨

Worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Don’t go. Food is old and stale. Sushi tasted like it’d been on the shelf for a week. The Schipol AH has better sushi if you want it so bad…Shambolic, lucky for me this one’s on the company card, or I would have made a scene.

Wow the worst sushi I’ve ever had and expensive as well! The rice was melded into a single glutinous sponge. The fish had the texture and flavor of a rubber glove. The one plus side is that the sushi was extremely cold, which should reduce the risk of also receiving food poisoning from this awful, awful meal 🤗🤗

I'm glad that the waiter's bad attitude prevented me from ordering food without spending money. After reading the reviews, I realized that not only the attitude was bad, but the food was also terrible.

They start serving noodles at 11 in the morning. I ordered pork belly miso ramen and it was ready in no time. It was worth the two-hour wait. 18.75 euros is a bit on the expensive side, but the taste didn’t disappoint (what can go wrong with miso) and the portion was appropriate. There was also plenty of vegetable and protein. The staff were mostly busy with preparing food, but they did answer questions when I asked. Their English is unfortunately not fluent and I had issues getting them to understand what I meant. The sushi looked expensive with small portions; I didn’t try those.

It's been a long time since I've eaten such tasteless and sad sushi as here. The salmon was decent enough, the rice was dry and looked like it was at least a day old, the nori was watery to say the least, and the tempura prawns were soft and chewy. On top of it all, this food cost €41, a price that would have been acceptable if it was freshly prepared food from a star restaurant, but this was worse than the cheap sushi you get in the grocery store. If the price had been acceptable, I would have given the food two stars.

Horrible food, stay away. Bought 5 gyozas for 15 euros and it didn’t even come with a dip. Was so bad and tasted off that we threw them away. The staff are also unprofessional and can’t care less.

This is the most expensive and bad ramen I had in a long time. The egg inside was cold and nothing meshed together. Just a bunch of vegetables with some overboiled noodles with watery buillon. Plus the service was quite rude, not a single smile at any time. I know it’s the airport but this was even too much.

If you have flight transfer, after the control you'll have so many more options of food and shopping ! The worst ramen ever! Run as far as you can away from here! They made me wait for almost 1 hour! I had ramen with vegetables. I got spaghetti with kale and an egg. Not much flavor, mostly miso sauce and the most nonchalant service. Still looking for the very good eating spot @ Schiphol 😩
