Great beer selection and atmosphere

It's hard to review this place without being biased. I've been coming here since 2013, when the bar/tasting room was just opened. I've always enjoyed it: good beers, friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, good prices, and it's okay to pop in solo and have a drink platter or cheese. Now that one of the two founders has left in recent years, this place has changed. From a place with a typical tasting room atmosphere (great beers at a good price, and nice snacks for one person) to a place that positions itself as... and I can't quite remember the word "high-class beer bar"... from snacks to food, less accessible for the everyday solo traveler. Then there are the beers. Of course, Van Moll still offers a fairly large selection, but the prices have tripled. A 15cl bottle costs an average of 7 euros!... wtf... that could easily be lowered to 3.50 or 4 euros... it's a tasting glass, not a goldmine to be discovered. It's a shame that a good place, a good tasting room, has changed so much that even many regulars I've known since the beginning no longer go there, simply because of the price, the selection, internal changes... and the many staff changes (which were completely different from when Van Moll started). Sometimes I wished this place would return to what it once stood for... but will that ever happen again??? I don't think so. Simple is sometimes best.

One of my favorite places to unwind with a beer, great selections and personalized recommendations 😀 . Many a time I have stopped by for a beer or two, and the staff makes every experience memorable and priceless! A special shout out goes to my good friend Leander, who really enjoys understanding the beer preferences of regulars in the bar, brews his own, and is dedicated to boosting the beer experience of others!

Really enjoyed our visit on a warm , sunny may day. Sat outside and had a chat with a nice bunch of people, one of which turned out to be the owner. He likes the occasional cider but he doesn't drink it all of the day 😏 😜! Loved the beer, will be back next year.

Always a great place for a beer, many varieties on tap. Lots of own beer as well as guest beer. Large bottles/cans card. You can also play a game.

Their slogan says “boost your beer experience.” Well, that’s an understatement — we’ve been boosted to infinity. So much so that we’ll never experience the same at another beer café. Gezellige staff, mind-blowing beers, delicious food, and music that perfectly fits the vibe. Everything comes together at Van Moll. And we can’t forget to give Leander a special shoutout! If you want your experience boosted, he’s your guy. Even during his break, when he noticed our glasses were empty (and the rest of the staff was busy), he put his dinner aside to pour us a new beer. Wide choice of different types of beer

20:40 on sunday, music is out, staff is clenaing up. There are still guests sitting, enjoying their drinks. They took our order at 20:27, the drinks came 20:35. Now we're sitting in a very ongezellig atmosphere. Closing at 21, should not mean that as of 2030 bar is, basically shut. Not sure what the owners think of this...

Beer was great struggling to pay it through the QR Code . Might be because of an international card . The only issue was the huge small of burnt oil for some reason . Also no sausage

We from Enschede had a wonderful time here for a few hours. There is a nice and relaxed atmosphere. With their own beer brewery a short distance away, they have plenty of choice of all kinds of specialty beers. In terms of food, we thought it was a limited menu but very tasty. Definitely recommended for a drink

Unfortunately not our taste. Even Pils and Weizen taste like IPA, some like it, unfortunately we don't. Plus very exaggerated prices.

Great spot for enjoying a beer, with 24 varieties to choose from! I tried the Pilsner, which I highly recommend. They also offer a special deal on Tuesdays, making it worth a visit. As for the food, I tried their special burger—another must-try!

Beautiful beer café with, of course, delicious beers from the brewery, Van Moll, itself. 24 on tap, of which 12 are our own brews, whether or not in collaboration with other breweries. The other 12 taps are from various breweries. Also a wide choice of beers in the cooler. They serve simple, but tasty street food here. But as a beer lover you naturally come for the contents of the glass! 😉🍻

Wide choice of (special) beer. The range changes regularly and the staff has sufficient knowledge about the beer. Atmosphere is cozy. So popular that sometimes there is no room. The small number of places is also the only downside. But be on time and you should always be able to get a spot.

Van Moll is a bit of a legend in my friend circles because of their good beer and friendly atmosphere. Beautiful bar and friendly staff, quite a few friends come over every now and then and they are very accommodating. Always fun to discover new beers when I'm there.

Top specialty beer pub. Many different beers that are also regularly renewed. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and gives good advice and tips about the beers. Van Moll is also an excellent beer brewer, whose beers actually taste good!

It was self service. I had a beer. I like the atmosphere here. But beers are expensive. And they serve in 25 ml? That’s so interesting for me. I have been in pubs around the world where serves 1 litre. 25 ml is so funny 😂 not even 33 ml😂

This was my first ever alcoholic beverage in Eindhoven. Needless to say this place is really creative and are not afraid of trying new things when it comes to brewing beer, so they do a lot of interesting styles that to me are normally delicious. I try and buy their beer often when I see it in the supermarkets. Although I preferred the layout before the recent renovation.

The beer is really good and staff was really helpful with recommending and choosing the beers. You will easily pay 15€ for 2 good beers. Big group tables are close to the door and was a bit chilly.

Amazing craft beers, I'm especially fond of everything sour and/or containing fruit. So during the summer this place is my personal Heaven. Staff is nice, I appreciate how they let you try the beer before committing, they don't have to, but it's a little added services I come back for and makes it easier to bring people usually not fond of beer and rock their world. Great international meetups are hosted here, a friend of mine recently hosted one and the staff reached out to her and offered a discount for the people that joined her event, which to me just shows how willing they are to be that spot in town people can't walk past without getting a drink and enjoy the vibe. I rated "food" a 5, since I'm assuming this includes the beers.

Van Mol is a great beer place. The location is perfect, also the interier is renovated and it has a great vibe, Beers are great. There is a lot of house tap beers but also planty of collaboration breweries on tap. But. And here comes the but, most of the times, the servise is just terrible, you wait for a waiter for 10-15 minutes, sometimes he does not even come and you need to go to the bar, they look at you and just pass by or they just hide behind the bar and pretend not to be there. That is the biggest drawback of this pub unfortunately.

Top tent, zelfs op een donderdag middag hangt er een leuke sfeer. Op deze manier is een biertje drinken echt een leuke ervaring :)

In addition to their own excellent craft beers, Van Moll also stocks a huge range of beers from across Europe – I didn’t count, but it must number over 200. It was quiet when I went (mid afternoon), but this place probably gets jammed solid later. Great place, with beers for every taste.

Al jaren een vast adres voor goede bieren in Eindhoven, nu ook met wat goede gerechten erbij als je honger krijgt. Ruime keuze in eigen bieren op tap en van gastbrouwerijen. Daarnaast nog een ruimere keuze op fles en blik.

Beste bier in town en wat mij betreft ook de beste muziekkeuze.

Schöner Brewpub, sehr zentral in Eindhoven. Auswahl der Bier ist ziemlich gut und abwechslungsreich. Du Inneneinrichtung ist sehr modern und stimmig.

Een pale ale? Hebben ze. Een geueze uit pajottenland? Hebben ze. Een dikke stout? Hebben ze. Wat een fijne tent, en de opknapbeurt is prima verlopen; het ziet er warm uit binnen. De muurschilderingen passen bij de huisstijl blikken en flessen.
