Vega Paradijs in Zuid

So it's not called "paradise" for nothing. I've been a fan of this shop for years, since it opened as a startup in Hilversum on Langestraat. Any other hummus or Baba ganoush can't compare to what they make here. Excellent, just like the rest of the freshly made delicacies. I drive all the way to Hilversum just for it. You get the idea, I'm a fan. Treat your taste buds, and those of your friends.

Phenomenally delicious food. The hummus, baba ganoush, and artichoke were standouts. A lot of work and love went into it. Excellent chef. We got to try everything and would love to come back!

Vegan Paradise organized the catering for 40 people. The came in time to set the table. And the food was excellent! All dishes were very tastefull

A small business, a very friendly man and super tasty products. You can decide for yourself what is put into your container, whether it is two products or four. You can also determine the amount yourself. You can have spicy food or not spicy. Ultimately, the container is put on the scale and a kilo price is calculated. I'm not a vegetarian, but these products were so delicious that I didn't miss any meat.

The Wizard of Taste... That's what he is! What flavors, what combinations, this will make every carnivore's mouth water. Everything he comes up with and has already thought up is phenomenal... but given the many 5 star reviews, we only confirm why we take the trouble to drive to Hilversum from very far away... Thank you for the delicious dishes!

Because we couldn't make a choice (everything is delicious), the sandwich/flatbread festival was recommended. Well, from the first bite it was already a taste festival, what a party! Delicious!

Very tasty food, friendly owner and you can taste everything. From the outside it looks like a snack bar/shawarma place, but don't let that put you off. You will find very tasty homemade dips, salads and vegetables at this caterer. A few of my favorites: hummus with caramelized onion, Iranian tzatziki, curry-eggplant dip, marinated mushrooms, pearl couscous salad, flat bean salad and falafel with sweet potato.

Just been here for the first time. I put together a salad from various dishes so that I could taste a little bit of everything. You will even receive advice on the right flavor composition. Already tried a few dishes in the store. This is one big flavor explosion. Wow how delicious. I'm a real meat eater, but with these vegetarian dishes I never miss meat.

Truly the tastiest in the Gooi. Everything super fresh and very hospitable. If you want you can taste almost everything. Humus, olives, babaganoes, you name it. Also does catering 🙃

Such a great find! Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Like like a deli when you walk in, but they also do wraps and sandwiches (plus takeaway containers). The lady was very friendly and explained what everything was. Lots of vegan options. The hummus wrap was delicious! Very simple, but it was so incredibly tasty, fresh and filling. Would definitely go back! There is only one low table with two chairs issues, so best to grab it to takeaway.

I don't often write a review here, but a friend of mine bought food here and took it to eat in the garden. Everything was divine. Well prepared, good taste, unique. Immediately I looked up where the food had been bought, and then I ended up here. Be sure to visit this week yourself!

Amazing broodjes, everything is so well seasoned and delicious that you won't realize it is all vegetarian or vegan. Highly recommend the festival brood or any of the salads.

It's all so delicious and a sweet boy who always lets you taste it when you don't know. It is a great pity that the place has moved to Gijsbrecht, because it is now not as easy to reach as a city center location. I wish them good luck in their new place!

Delicious fresh vegetarian food!

Today I got some food for lunch for the first time and it was surprisingly tasty. Delicious hummus with large white coupons, stuffed vine leaves and the lentil soup also very tasty. I will definitely get something tasty here more often.

Brought from Hilversum as a Christmas treat to Groenlo by the person responsible for the evening. Totally spot on. Easy to serve, everything in a bowl. Some dishes from the oven, the others cold. Beautiful deep flavors, pleasant presentation. Great for sharing and the rest. Highly recommended and thanks for the delicious food

Amin heeft het eten verzorgd voor ons feest met zo'n 30 gasten. In één woord: geweldig! Hij nam vooraf alle tijd om in zijn mooie winkel met ons te bespreken wat we wilden en om alles te laten proeven. De schalen met eten zagen er prachtig uit en alles smaakte echt fantastisch! Iedereen was heel enthousiast. De communicatie verliep verder heel soepel en de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend. We zouden het zo weer doen!

Heerlijk eten, en de beste humus ooit!! Ook de communicatie was on point toen de bezorging (door de schuld van thuisbezorgd) later was. Echt een toprestaurant, en zal hier zeker vaker bestellen!

The eggplant falafel sandwich was amazing! They have a big variety of vegetarian/vegan Middle Eastern dishes/salades/sauces and it all looks very fresh and tasty. Totally recommend!

We went there for some quick lunch but completed amazed by the vegetarian assortment, the front door might be easy to miss but inside is a vegan paradise (and we are not even vegetarian), the owner Amin almost offered us to taste half of the offerings and everything is so delicious and made with love. Follow his instagram he has great catering options too! We are definitely coming back!

Super schone zaak met een hele lieve meid achter de kassa die mij goed op weg heeft geholpen! Dit was mijn eerste keer maar ik kom zeker terug!

Als ik 10 sterren kom geven dan had ik dat gedaan. Elke keer is het weer heerlijk. Genoeg te kiezen en altijd vers! Personeel is altijd heel aardig en je mag alles proeven. Echt een aanwinst!

Zo blij met deze zaak in Hilversum. Wij eten nog maar heel zelden vlees, maar hierbij mis je het ook geen seconde. Het eten is echt zoooo heerlijk. De gebakken aubergine en linzen met pittige humus enorm favoriet hier thuis!

Net deze geweldige zaak ontdekt. Echt ontzettend lekkere hummus (die ik allemaal mocht proberen), en van het broodje festival moest ik bijna huilen van blijdschap, ZO lekker! Ik kreeg nog een extra hapje gratis mee om te proberen, echt topservice. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en niet opdringerig. Vers eten, ware smaakexplosies. Hier wordt ik ontzettend blij van en ik kan nu al niet wachten om er weer wat lekkers te halen!

Super lekker eten hebben ze hier!!! Zowel voor lunch als avondeten. Hummus van de supermarkt lust ik niet, dus ik zei eerst ook nee tegen de hummus van Vega Paradijs MAAR die is echt lekker. Mijn favoriet is de hummus met mango (waarvan ik eerst dacht ‘mango?’). De hummus is lekker naast het andere eten (tip: aubergine, couscous en bonensalade) maar ook lekker om te dippen met wat brood (of je boterham mee smeren ;-)) Je kan het eten thuis laten bezorgen, maar ik zou aanraden het zelf af te halen, dan kan je alles zien en proeven. Ik kom er wekelijks en binnenkort met een feestje hebben we catering van Vega Paradijs (op aanraden van vrienden).

Lekker vegetarische eten, verschillende hapjes meneer neemt de tijd ook om alles uit te leggen en te laten proeven. Vond dat echt heel fijn! Ik vond vooral de manier waarop de hummus klaar gemaakt werd met dat extraatje erboven op zo lekker. Wij komen zeker terug :)

Allemaal lekkere, smaakvolle gerechten. Maar ook verscheiden en vers, dat proef je en dat zie je. Je likt je vingers af als het ware. Ottolenghi liefhebbers .... hier moet je zijn. Ben er voor uit Baarn gekomen om het te proberen, maar dit smaakt naar meer. In Amersfoort zou een vestiging ook goed op zijn plek zitten 😉

Vandaag eerste keer wat dingetjes gehaald. Wat is het lekker vooral de bonensalade en de hummus. Jullie zien me snel terug.

(Granted, this is a late review since I went there months ago) Friendly owner but unfortunately the food I ate was in a bad state. Got a stomach bug that made me vomit and feel pretty bad for a whole weekend.
