Always a great place for a quick bite with very friendly staff. And if you get to watch them work together in the limited space preparing the food, it just exudes a sense of fun and speed.

Too bad the hogweed wasn't cooked through, which I'd requested. So, raw onions were chopped between the slices again.

The fries are golden and crispy, as promised. The manager is a professional. The service is excellent. The tables are clean. The satay is wonderfully tender. Keep up the good work!

The food was delicious and especially the bear claw with peanut sauce was very good.

Today at 2:30 PM, I went with my kids to order food. A young woman came to the counter, having wiped her nose twice with her hands. I asked if they had chicken tenders. She said no, "We have chicken strips," and she grabbed the piece of chicken with her own hand. How scandalous, disgusting, and unhygienic can it be? I immediately left with my two kids and my sister. I will never order food from you again. It's just a disgrace.

Hello, shame on restaurants. I visited this restaurant for about 14 days, only on the first visit was the inside and on the terrace cleaned, then there were greasy tables, greasy floor, leftover food lying around, just dirt and mess. If there is no such tiny eared blonde at the counter, the service is pleasant, if the blonde appears, disastrous. I go here for coffee, the first day was the best, without complaint, then it got worse and worse, today I poured the coffee into the trash can, it tasted stale. I am sending pictures and a description of the dirt in front of the restaurant and inside.

It seems like I'm getting less and less sauce here. Order peanut mayo and I get it mixed in a tiny bowl Something really needs to be done about this

Verkeerd gereden dus niet bij onze vertrouwde eetplek kunnen stoppen richting de Belgische Ardennen. Besloten om willekeurig de snackbar van het eerste de beste dorp aan te doen. Dit was Zwijndrecht. We belanden bij deze Verhage. Mooie zaak, zeer vriendelijke jongen die er pas voor het eerst was die ons netjes hielp. Onze zoon van 6 had een kindermenu, daarbij zat onder de frietjes een kaartje voor een softijsje verstopt. Hij wisselde het in en mocht helemaal mee om zelf z'n ijsje te maken en toppings erop te kiezen. Echt een leuke ervaring, die jongen maakte er een feestje van het viel me op dat ze allemaal wel lol leken te hebben met elkaar. Ook het eten was goed, de overwegend negatieve recensies hier snap ik dan ook niet...

After crying at a terrible pancake house, we luckily ended up at Verhage, where they have delicious ice cream and a great atmosphere.

Enjoyed at Verhage Kort Ambachtlaan. We were there for 3 hours. Delicious food, really tasty food. Staff is very friendly and not pushy. Nice team together. You can sit outside on the terrace. Friendly guy comes to take the order. A veggie burger. Then actually dare to ask if you want bacon on it. Then as a business you are not at all concerned with what your guest wants, just with getting as much money as possible. Providing training in the business so that you as a guest do not sit quietly. The fact that they are only concerned with raking in money was also evident from the new beer menu that was named after the staff. “Hoegaarden is served with lemon and a pestle.” If the brewer had wanted that, he would have thrown it in immediately. Many places still have Coca-Cola, so I would choose something else. Coca-Cola sponsored a World Cup in Qatar and now also sponsored the Trump campaign with 250,000 dollars.

Great food tent, a bit pricey and bright lights, but otherwise great location. Today I went for fries and a snack, when I finished it at home I suddenly felt very nauseous for more than 1 hour. I don't think I can make it anymore for a while before I get sick again. There was nothing healthy wrong before that and after that hour, 1.5 hours, I still don't feel the same, but I do feel a little better.

I'm still waiting for my money, I still want my money back from those 2 spoiled burgers. I'm not used to Verhage... there must be new management there. Not friendly at all

A pleasantly decorated "snack bar", actually more of a restaurant. Excellent fries, burgers and some special things too, such as the delicious iced coffee: vanilla ice cream + espresso + dark chocolate + chocolate chip = hmmmm!!

Heerlijk gegeten, jammer alleen dat je bij de menu's geen drinken krijgt. Voor de prijs dat je betaald zou t wel beter zijn.

The food was delicious, but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. Excellent service, and nice attention is paid to the children's menus (make your own ice cream).

Was er met kleinkinderen 3x milkshake was ongeveer 7.60 moest 8.60 betalen.. kwam er helaas bij thuiskomst pas achter..kom er nooit meer nu

Bacon is suddenly horribly gross. We ordered every last one... and suddenly... the bacon is disgusting. Stinky and clearly over the date. Don't get any money back. Only free burger for next time... no thanks, I won't order from here again. Very disappointing I just want my 11 euros back.

Bad plastic in the salad and the other salad looked like fallen croquette crushed, generally not recommended.

By far my favorite place to grab a bite to eat when I don't feel like cooking. Great service, great quality food, great staff and reasonable price. I always had the idea that it was a takeaway snack bar, but I can 100% recommend just sitting inside the restaurant itself. The seasonal burgers are also highly recommended. Also the vegetarian variation, which they make with spinach instead of fake meat.

Alles wat er fout kon gaan is fout gegaan, verkeerde menu's, een bon van een ander en hierdoor ook teveel betaald voor wat we kregen. Manager kwam de bon uitleggen en dit was de bon van weer iemand anders. Uitleg maakte het ook steeds slechter. Fout zou aan de keuken liggen en de druk bij bezorgingen. Het eten is prima, maar de service is werkelijk dramatisch. Personeel heeft de boel niet onder controle, blijven wel beleefd.

Wanneer ik bij verhage ga eten dan weet ik dat er altijd kwaliteit is. Misschien is het deze keer een uitzondering, maar patat bakje voor driekwart gevuld met dunne slierten uitgedroogde pinda"saus" laat me besluiten om Zwijndrecht voortaan over te slaan .

Bruine boterham met kaas, tomaat en rucola. Jammer dat de rucola wat verlept was. Niet echt van hoogstaande kwaliteit voor de toch wat prijzige boterham met kaas. Ik zou hier niet nog een keer heen gaan.

Lekkere patat, saté en andere snacks. Vriendelijke bediening, zowel achter de toonbank als aan tafel. Leuke zitjes.

Vanavond eten opgehaald Ik had een kip salade. Dit waren letterlijk alleen maar sla blaadjes met wel 3 kip stukjes boven op en 2 stukjes tomaat…. Te triest voor worden 😒

Jongens ververs het vet wat meer. Dit was niet ok, dit vet is echt te oud. Dit is echt zonde van het eten

Had vandaag een doorgebakken frietje besteld met de sauzen ( mayo.pindasaus en uitjes.apart) Wat ik kreeg was slappe friet niet doorgebakken en de sauzen alles in 1 potje....is niet waar ik om vroeg

Laatst, na een dagje zwemmen, hadden mijn zoon en ik zin in een vette hap. Je kan dan kiezen voor de drive-thru "restaurants" langs de snelweg, maar wij besloten op zoek te gaan naar een snackbar in de wijk. We kamen uit bij Verhage, een prima eettentje met vriendelijk personeel. We hebben erg lekker gegeten!
