A lukewarm croquette and a limp sausage for 7 euros. The quality was terrible.

I sat down for a bit, relaxed, and enjoyed a delicious ice cream. They had several flavors to choose from, whipped cream, just like in the old days! I didn't include the food in my review because I didn't actually eat it, but I'll definitely go back! The lady was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice too!

That Rijnstate Hospital allows this. The prices are way too high and the food is severely subpar. The staff is friendly, though. I've also seen several apple turnovers that were overcooked. And the cleaning is terrible.

What incredibly unfriendly staff! The lady (an older woman with a walker) in front of me was still putting her card in her bag. The guy behind the counter said bluntly, "Move out of my way, I have to help that customer." He pointed at me. (I could easily wait a while for that.) He started punching in what I had on my tray on the cash register. Without a hello, a look, or anything. "So when I said, could you also get me some tea, please?!" it was the same blunt tone as he had with the older woman in front of me. "You have to wait a minute, I'll check this first..." He didn't look at me. That's perfectly fine, of course, but his whole body language radiated that he didn't like what he did for a living. He threw the receipt on the desk. Somewhat bewildered, I asked him if there was another way. (which I usually don't do, but this behavior was so rude, especially towards the older woman in front of me. I felt really bad for the woman in front of me.) He's dealing with paying customers. Even if you're not having a good day, whatever the reason. Then he started making fun of me. In a childishly belittling tone... "Please, ma'am!" When I got the tea, I thought... this is a kindergarten class instead of a hospital. Besides, you can't pay with cash here. In a hospital, you often have to deal with customers who have no other choice. It's also expensive for what you actually get. (and both of those things are for a hospital.) Tables dirty and broken. The cart where you put the dishes is overflowing. Of course, it's possible. "still." Staff shortages or something. But the treatment... people come to the hospital for a reason. Unfortunately, I often visit other hospitals too; it's very different in those. So it is possible. Here is a complaint!

Stop accepting cash in an environment where many people sometimes have no choice but to pay in cash, shame on you

The food is mediocre and expensive. The staff is amazing!!!! The head office has gone completely off the rails. Because as of January 5th, you can only pay by card. Simply ridiculous. Not a problem for me, but it is the problem for the people who still pay everything in cash because they can't use a card. Or people who are in debt and get paid weekly. Until this changes, you won't see me here anymore. If you exclude people, I'll exclude you!!!

What a load of junk they sell here, absolutely no choice and rock-old stuff. There isn't a normal menu, just a few run-down rolls that have been sitting there all day. And super expensive. Very bad, won't buy anything there.

Only ate here out of necessity. The food was stale and very expensive. 18 euros for a small sandwich, a few vegetables, and two sodas. It's outrageous that this is happening in a hospital, and that the hospital isn't doing anything about it. They're simply taking advantage of people's needs!

We ate at Vermaat in Rijnstate Arnhem. What a dismal place! The rolls were rock hard and should have been hot, the staff was disinterested, and the prices were shocking. We'll never do this again.

I work at Rijnstate and occasionally get something to eat there. This afternoon, I had a chicken Caesar sandwich. This was truly a low point!!! A baguette with some kind of spread (not the entire sandwich) with a thin layer of lettuce or endive and two! thin slices of chicken breast as a topping. And all that for €6.50!! I went back and discussed it with an employee, but she said it was prepared according to the recipe and that's how it should be. When I asked if she could pass on my complaint, she told me she could, but that nothing would be done about it anyway. So, here's my complaint!

A tasteless, tough, stale panini sandwich for a relatively high price. Not all the ingredients listed on the poster were in the sandwich because "we don't do that here"—at Rijnstate Hospital. The sandwiches were probably left under the lamp for too long. A waste of money.

When you order coffee, you automatically get the most expensive (large) cup. They don't even ask which of the three you want. And they don't even offer a cookie with your coffee. They're obviously hoping you'll add something sweet to the ridiculously high prices. It's sickening to rip off people who aren't in the hospital for fun this way. The staff is also anything but friendly.

You are never here for fun (because it is in the hospital) and they know that you cannot quickly go to the store so

Prices are high these days, but this takes the cake. Ridiculous prices, completely missing the mark on value for money.

The fried eggs were tasty and more than enough, my tip is to toast the bread for the fried eggs.

Outrageous prices to be charged at the expense of patients and their visitors

First of all I want to compliment the staff. Some people work their butts off for you and with a smile too. The furniture has really needed replacing for a few years now. It's falling apart! The food is really bad. Sandwiches are hard, half-filled and ridiculously expensive. "Fresh" juice is thrown back into a jug every day so that they can pour it into new glasses the next day and sell the same juice as "fresh" again for €4.75 per glass. Goodbye nutrients!! Really a shame...

Look after!!! Deception!! Yet another canteen that sells vegetarian food as meat! I got a croquette sandwich and asked if it was vegetarian or with meat. I was assured that it would be a beef croquette, but the croquette was vegetarian!! Just be honest about the food you offer. This gives poor confidence to the rest of the hospital, which is completely unnecessary.

Cheese sandwich, dry, no butter and slice of cheese was only half on it.

Tasteless healthy and tuna sandwiches. Far too expensive for something that is barely invested.

The food is cold, nothing in stock and then 10 euros for a cheese spread. 13.95 for a hamburger with potatoes. We get hamburger with fries and it's also cold. Brought it back and then you get a new one, but then they are discussing how the hamburger should be cooked.

The sandwich was very hard and had probably been there for a long time. Chicken soup was lukewarm and with the attached wooden tea spoon? And not to eat. Simply outrageous.

Today I wanted something healthy for a patient in the hospital, thought it costs more, get a fruit basket! Can buy the stupidest things in your store but not a fruit basket, with the help of the catering industry 6 pieces of fruit and an apple juice cost a bit! If you want to do healthy things, I suggest fruit and not €1 each and separate containers so that you have a fruit basket in five minutes for a fairly normal price

What an incredibly unhealthy menu and absurdly high prices. And that for a 'restaurant' in a hospital. Really scandalous.

I was here today at 5 p.m. visiting and wanted to grab a bite to eat. A large sign advertised a 'hamburger with potatoes'. However, this was not available because the potatoes were still frozen. Besides a sausage roll and a croquette, there was basically nothing for sale. Sad for a caterer for a hospital of this size.

If you order chocolate milk, you will receive it in a coffee cup that is half filled. It was more like (ditch) water with a few grains of chocolate. Not to mention what a disappointment. That his company is allowed to establish itself in Rijnstate is a shame. NEVER come there again.

Delicious lasagna served with a great salad!

Almost everything contains cheese, red meat, comes from the deep fryer or is fried with butter. In the end I was allowed to make do with some pieces of cucumber because the fruit salad had run away on its own. When you consider that this is in a hospital, my stomach turns again

Eating the food is not really very tasty. Pasta is bland. The lasagna was a total disaster. Croquettes that are still cold on the inside. And worst of all, they dare to ask a lot of money for it, it's outrageously expensive.

Expensive very expensive... 2.85 for a bottle of Pepsi 1.75 for a cheese nibble 3.55 croquette sandwich 4.75 for a Medium soup Coffee from a machine and then charge more than 2 euros for it.... It's a shame that there is nothing else and you are forced to use it... good product quality would be desirable for this price

Just bring your credit card if you're hungry because the food is far from cheap. In addition, of mediocre quality for the price you pay. You'd better have a picnic at the hospital.
