We had another fantastic meal!! Highly recommended!

Food tasted like it came straight from the supermarket—nothing wrong with that, but nothing special either. The wine (Shiraz) was very good, though.

Bring back the chef from 2 years ago. This place was fire. Now the food is bland and not worth the time :(

After having a lovely, delicious meal there a year and a half ago, I went back. What a disappointment! The terrace was empty, but all the tables were dirty. A long wait for our order, constantly with an empty glass in front of us. The food was actually even worse: dry, tasteless mushrooms (seemed microwave-safe). We asked four times where our scampi were. Finally, four rather pathetic shrimp were served on skewers, cold and without any seasoning. We ultimately decided to finish our meal elsewhere. When we explained while paying that we were leaving because it was rather disappointing, the answer was: well, these are tapas. Not worth going back.

Good gambas al ajillo and calamares. I could have enjoyed larger portions but ok, it's NL. You'll need to order bread (usually comes included in Spain) but it'll be nice. The best is the service of Gerdaine (did I get it right?) the waitress who speaks Spanish. She's awesome!

We had a lovely evening with good food and friendly service. They're doing well, but they could definitely improve a bit and show more passion, knowledge, and skill. It's a bit student-like at the moment, and it's becoming run-of-the-mill. So, if you want to stand out, a little more care and attention is needed. But the atmosphere was good, and the food was delicious, so I definitely recommend it.

The shop and terrace were far from full and yet it still took an incredibly long time before we received our rounds of tapas. After 2.5-3 hours we were fed up and still didn't feel like we had eaten enough. Not to mention the quality, sometimes tasteless, sometimes far too strong in taste and not everything seemed fresh. This did not go down well with everyone in the group afterwards. Cocktails seemed to be a kind of pre-mix, mojito without mint, without brown sugar and with ice cubes instead of crushed ice. Service is otherwise friendly.

Nice restaurant. We had the chef's menu. Expected that we would get the special and tastiest dishes, but it felt like we got the 'hand-me-downs/leftovers'... shame.

Today we went to Vida for an evening for the first time in a long time. It was a nice evening, but it just wasn't all. I miss the sparkle of "the old days"..

We had 2 people with us who had difficulty eating or had allergies, one of whom could not have garlic, but every dish they brought had garlic in it. We were not taken into consideration, so we paid and went to McDonald's around the corner so that everyone had food. Food was tasty tho.

Cozy tent but has deteriorated considerably. We were there on Monday. Seemed like they were leftovers from Sunday. Nothing was fresh, except the bread I think. Everything seemed to come out of the microwave. Dry and a sauce masked that. What a disappointment. Young service, doing their best. But didn't make anything right.

Bad food, everything luke warm and no taste. Bottle of wine is placed on the table and find out! A dessert that was frozen was returned but added to the bill. After much discussion, the dessert was taken off the bill. Not recommended at all!!!!

Had a wonderful evening! Ate with a large group, wines were very tasty with the food. I thought the dishes with goat cheese stood out.

Not what it used to be. Been twice recently, but disappointing. Food is hit&miss - some dishes tasty, others bland. Some dishes warm, others lukewarm. The inexperienced staff and partly disinterested staff do not contribute to a successful evening.

Great meal. The tables are very close together, so you hardly have any space to sit and it is also very busy and noisy. The tapas are tasty, but quite expensive. The service is a bit on the slow side.

Delicious food and quick service

Had dinner with Social Deals for €53.70. Unfortunately the tapas only came with some fried mushrooms and no other vegetables. Dessert was not included for that price. Conclusion: a waste of money.

We had the chef's surprise menu, delicious! Service was great and they even came together to sing for a birthday! Thank you vida, we will definitely come back!

Do not recommend this restaurant. I ate there through an offer. I thought the dishes were fatty and very similar. Terrace is beautiful, but completely empty. Turnoff.

Nice location, friendly service

Wat ik dacht dat een gezellig avondje uiteten zou worden met mijn familie werd helaas een regelrechte teleurstelling. Wat begon met wat tapas gerechten daarna zoals op de site vermeld de “Vida Paella op maandag €15,- paella p.p” besteld. Wat aan ons aanbevolen werd als hoofdgerecht! Echter kregen wij twee borden met zijn vijfen en dachten wij, waar blijven de andere porties. Deze werden dan ook voor twee personen geserveerd. De serveerster gaf aan dat de andere Paella’s nog eraan kwamen. Na een kwartier, toch gevraagd waar de rest blijft waarbij wordt vermeld dat deze twee borden voor vijf- personen bedoelt is en dit het dan ook was. Erg misleidend! Eén persoon eet geen vlees en vroeg vooraf of er vlees in de Paella zit of alleen vis. Alleén vis werd er aangegeven! Tijdens het eten bleek er toch vlees in te zitten! Schandalig! Rick de manager heeft 3 “porties” van de rekening afgehaald en een kopje koffie aangeboden. Had liever waar gekregen voor mijn geld. Hierna nog bij een ander restaurant wezen eten!

We always thought Vida was a great restaurant, but unfortunately that is becoming less and less the case. We experience the quality of the food as varying. We find the service mediocre these days.

You don't go there for the ambiance, but the friendly service and excellent food make up for a lot. Also very affordable thanks to a nice Social Deal

We had a great time at VIDA Hilversum. The tapas had delightful twists, and the staff's hospitality was so nice. They took the time to ensure we had a wonderful experience, making it perfect for both drinks and dinner.

With the memory of 6 years ago in the back of our minds, we ate at Vida again yesterday. Reservation was actually not necessary. It was far from full and the temperature inside was on the chilly side. Unfortunately the food was really less than we were used to. Dry pork tenderloin, fatty sausage with little flavor. Unfortunately this was the last time for us…

+ great atmosphere. Outstanding service. Staff was simply very friendly and attentive. - food was mediocre (for the price). It wasn't dirty or bad, but for the price I expected more. The starter came straight from Albert Heijn. Main course okay but nothing special. The wine (most expensive bottle) was very sad. We won't be back.

Not what it once was... Disinterested staff and mediocre tapas and menu. Shame

The atmosphere is good, but the food is not what it once was. It is certainly not dirty, but in terms of level it does not exceed the snacks that you buy ready-made at the supermarket and then the price/quality ratio is quite poor because it is quite expensive. Staff was friendly.

Unfortunately this experience was not a good one. Management was so young in my opinion, not more than 20 years old, little experience and made mistakes. I am pregnant so I was wondering if a cocktail can also be made alcohol-free. This had to be asked and the answer was immediately no. No alternative or no thinking about another nice aperitif. In the beginning we had to beckon someone all the time to ask if we could order something. Food arrived quickly and was fine, pork belly was delicious and the bavet was thoroughly cooked at our request. Received something twice that was not for us. Price-wise okay, but €14 for the cheese board with 3 pieces of cheese on it is not okay. I also found our table too close to the people standing next to us and was constantly distracted by their conversation. Too bad, I think there is much more potential.

Super attentive and friendly girls at the counter. We regularly ask if everything is to your satisfaction. Top service.

Gezellig restaurant, vriendelijk personeel. Maar prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was niet goed. Sommige gerechten waren simpelweg niet lekker, zeg maar gerust mislukt. Kaasplankje van 14,- was echt te duur voor drie blokjes kaas. Geen aanrader!

Mwah is het beste wat ik kan omschrijven. Eten kwam laat en liet tussen bestelling door lang op zich wachten. Smaak was ook niet heel bijzonder. Bij binnenkomst in het restaurant viel het op dat het best koud was, later was het echter wel warmer.

Wel een gemiste kans dat het toetje Licormisu (met liquor 43) op de menukaart op nummer 45 staat, en niet op 43 ... Nummer 43 van de kaart (cheesecake van witte chocolade) was gelukkig ook lekker!

Als ik in Spanje "pan" bestel krijg ik een hardere soort brood en geen boterhammen, hier wel. Patatas Bravas leken uit de magnetron te komen. Calamaris zat totaal geen smaak aan. Ik wou Sprite/7up bestellen... Was er niet... Doe dan maar een glas Jus d'Orange... Ook niet... Sorry hoor, niet mijn restaurant. Bediening was wel gewoon vriendelijk.

Goed eten, goede prijs, vader en zoon kwamen lekker gitaren.

Ondanks dat wij de enige waren op maandagavond, was het eten heerlijk en de bediening prima! Sfeer is natuurlijk leuker als de tent vol zit 😉

Lekker gegeten in een leuke sfeer.

Food is somewhat OK to good if you know what to order. Three-four dishes are actually decent, but the price outweighs the taste. It’s a pretty lame tapas bar with a less than lacking service. Staff is untrained, they can’t really recommend you anything and the waiting time….the waiting time is looooong! You sit and you wait and you wait until somebody realises you may want something and you are not just resting in their bar! And did I mention they’re pretty arrogant too?

Leuk restaurant in Hilversum. Gewoon prima. Personeel was iets meer met zichzelf bezig dan met de paar klanten die er zaten.

Heerlijk gegeten diverse gerechtjes ; goede porties. De kipspiesjes zijn heerlijk mals en een aanrader. De tomatensalade lekker fris en genoeg voor 2 personen. De champigons in knoflook ook super lekker. Eigenlijk was alles wat we bestelden heerlijk. Desserts echt overheerlijk ook! Personeel heel vriendelijk en komen regelmatig vragen of alles naar wens is. Gezellig terras dus heerlijk buiten gezeten.

Tasty little bites and nice wine served on the terrace. What more can you ask for? 😉 Definitely recommend the Gambas Al ajillo and the Bavette with chimichurri (not the most authentic chimichurri but tasty nonetheless).

Nice atmosphere, slow and not attentive service (needed to raise hands twice to get the menu, happened after 20min - when you hire staff it’d be great to train them, not only hire friendly people). Food: tasteless tortillas, mushroom al ajillo were swimming in garlic and no clue if I was eating mushrooms or something else. Salchicha flambé was good. Drinks were good (white sangria). All in all, it was quite disappointing. We give it sometimes a try but it never gets there.

Het interieur maakt het gezellig en Spaans aanvoelen. Helaas is 't niet meer als wat 't geweest is. Hollandse tapas restaurant kun je het eerder noemen. Bediening is jong en onervaren en totaal niet attent. Jammer!

Zaten 10-06-23 bij de wijnbar in de kuil buiten met 9.. Was super, lekker eten en drinken goeie sfeer top bediening..

Eten was heel matig en duur. Gezellige sfeer, ambiance.

Wij zaten hier op eerste paasdag, enorm goed geholpen door Marzia. Zo’n leuke gezellige meid, ongelooflijk gastvrij, heel aardig en wil je direct aan je tafel erbij hebben. Eten ook zo lekker, duimpje omhoog voor de keuken ook!

Ik geef zelden tot nooit maar 1 ster maar dit zakt door elke ondergrens. Het is een mooie smaakvol ingerichte zaak maar het hele reilen en zeilen is in handen van twee (lieve) tieners. Die absoluut hun stinkende best doen, maar verzuipen. Bestelling opnemen duurt uren. Bestelling wordt niet of te laat gebracht. De wijn is te koud, glazen vies. Wat zondee!

Helemaal super. Gezellige avond, heerlijk eten.

Gezellig plekje met goede wijn en lekkere hapjes. Vriendelijke bediening en een redelijke prijs. 👌🏼

Bediening door jonge serveersters die nogal eens vergaten wie ze welk drankje moesten brengen of het bestelde werd überhaupt niet gebracht. Daarnaast kent Vida geen sappen zoals jus d' Orange of zo. Uiteraard is er wijn en andere alcohol en de vervanging voor stap was: Ice Tea. Jammer.

Super lekker eten, lekkere Sangria met Licor 43 erin, wat ik nog niet eerder had gehad. Super attente en vriendelijke bediening! Ze checkten of alles naar wens was en of we nog iets nodig hadden, maar ook niet tè vaak, dus het was precies goed en niet irritant. Qua prijs was het niet goedkoop, maar ook niet verschrikkelijk duur. Met z’n vijven buikje rond gegeten en gedronken voor zo’n 250 euro. Ik ga hier zeker terugkomen!

Leuke plek om gezellig samen te zijn

Heel erg lekker gegeten, maar vooral ook hele vriendelijke en gezellige bediening. Mensen werken hier voor hun plezier en doen daadwerkelijk hun best te zorgen dat je een leuke avond hebt.

Lekker gegeten, tapas goed klaargemaakt, vriendelijk personeel. Een uitzondering, de patats bravas waren zompig door teveel saus eroverheen. Aanrader als je, zoals wij, niet van de drukte en rumoer van Mout ertegenover houdt.

Het eten was lekker, de gerechtjes zijn leuke variaties op klassieke tapas. De bediening was vriendelijk, maar alles ging wel echt onwijs traag. In totaal hebben we maar 3 tapas per persoon gegeten en daarvoor hebben we bijna 3 uur aan tafel gezeten. Er waren ook diverse dingen op.

Super plek, godzijdank ook Heineken, maar om 11.50uur de laatste ronde op een zaterdag avond was wel bijzonder teleurstellend!!! ...

Hier al twee keer een proeverij gedaan. Het is fijn dat je niet met een minimaal aantal hoeft te zijn om een proeverij te boeken en dat je kunt kiezen welke "moeilijkheid" de proeverij mag zijn. De glazen zijn goed gevuld met ieder keer een heerlijk bijpassend hapje en wat uitleg over de wijn en hoe je deze het beste kunt proeven. Verder is Vida goed bereikbaar en hangt er een fijne sfeer, zodat je er graag lange tijd wilt blijven hangen. Vriendelijk personeel met genoeg aandacht voor de gast.

Gisteravond eindelijk de Vineria van VIDA binnen gestapt. In het aller begin waren we eens buiten gaan zitten bij de Vineria, maar toen was het concept nog dat je daar beperkter kon eten dan de "gewone" VIDA er naast. Dat weerhield ons steeds om daar naar binnen te gaan. We waren dit keer bewust voor een borrel binnengestapt en waren dus blij verrast dat je zelfs de gewone kaart tot je beschikking kreeg. Een mooie mix van 6 verschillende pinchos (vis/vlees/vega) en goede wijn en erg sfeervolle setting maakt dit tot een hele fijne extra plek in Hilversum. Hopelijk gaan steeds meer mensen dit inzien, zodat de Vineria niet alleen in het weekend druk gevuld is en ze nog lang een plekje mogen houden in het hart van Hilversum.

We hebben hier een avond heerlijk geborreld en gegeten. De bediening verraste ons met een wijn nadat wij vertelden wat we lekker vonden. Het eten was ook allemaal heel erg goed. Het vriendelijke personeel en de sfeer in de Vineria maakte het een heerlijke avond!
