After good reviews, we made a reservation. Well, that was incredibly disappointing. The welcome in the small hallway where you have to wait was already disappointing. Inside, it's a cozy restaurant but incredibly noisy. We opted for an anti-pasta appetizer for two. It was beautiful but tasteless. The frozen calamari was a disappointment, even though the website says they make fresh calamari. We both felt nauseous during our meal, and the shrimp really bothered us both. We decided not to have a main course because the food made us feel unwell. We also found the owner unhygienic; he was so sweaty that beads of sweat fell off, and the way he spoke to us was unfriendly. We had to pay downstairs, so unfriendly, not a good day. Outside, several other guests were complaining about the food's lack of flavor. A shame, a pleasant evening ruined.

Everyone sharing a small house and then enjoying a meal together. Waiting in the narrow hallway with six people, while the staff paced back and forth, wasn't very convenient. We were shown to our table after about a 10-minute wait. Drinks arrived fairly quickly. The menu is extensive, so choosing was a challenge. Two meat dishes, lasagna, a portion of fries for the little girl, and a four-cheese pizza. The pizza arrived quickly. It had four slices of cheese on it, but was that it? The lasagna was a substantial portion that tasted delicious. A plate of meat with spaghetti, and a plate of meat with fries. Only the fries were shared with the little girl's, which made us wonder if it was really a portion for two. The flavors of all the dishes were excellent. It's not cheap, so you expect a little attention. That wasn't the case, only at the end when the plates were cleared. Did the Limocello, which I'd seen mentioned in various reviews, pass our table by? Maybe another time, but not for now.

RESERVED FOR 4 PEOPLE WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Since it was getting cold outside, we sat inside...a mistake...we waited over 1.5 hours for the main course. 3 pizzas eventually arrived...the 4th [sole from the freezer] arrived when we were finished with the pizza! Then the owner gave us a hard time! If you can't handle the food...please don't accept reservations! Never again! Simply terrible!

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience at this restaurant. The drinks were fine and the bruschetta was delicious. However, the main courses took a very long time to arrive and even came separately. My food had almost cooled down after 5 minutes while my partner's wasn't ready yet. The meat in our dishes wasn't good; it lacked flavor and was tough/overcooked. The service was very poor; we had to wait a long time for our drinks to be taken, and we weren't even asked if everything was to our liking. We paid the bill without tipping, which we almost never do. Such a shame!

We were here with friends in the patio/courtyard on a summer Saturday (July 12th). It was already quite full. The two of us went for a non-alcoholic aperitif (a crodino spritz), a coke, and water (both sparkling and still), followed by a main course: a ravioli filled with lobster, a stew with whitefish, mussels, and scampi, a pan-fried sea bass, and a sirloin steak, finishing with vanilla and hazelnut ice cream, dame blanche, hazelnut and vanilla ice cream, and a slice of shortcrust pastry with lemon. The food was truly delicious. The service was good but became a bit chaotic as the evening progressed. Highly recommended!

How this restaurant is going downhill. Have been coming here for years but this was the last time. Takes a very long time before you get your food. Keurig en op tijd gereserveerd word je ergens achterin 1 hoog ongezellig weggestopt. Vraag je om ander plekje dan kan dat niet….zie je de tafel naast ons later toch verplaatst worden! Schandalig! Het eten is prima, maar toch ontevreden naar huis.

Very disappointing! The kitchen couldn't handle it and we had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our main course. Moreover, this was reflected in the dishes. Andere plek was NIET mogelijk, onvriendelijke reactie, beneden was mn voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Laat ik nou slecht ter been zijn! Bij het afrekenen gaf ik de tip om mn bij verwachte grote drukte bij reservering te vragen of een stijl trappetje bezwaarlijk is. Reactie “ daar kunnen we geen rekening mee houden, dan moeten we overal rekening mee houden”. JA DUS! Dat noemen ze klantvriendelijk!! Dat was ver te zoeken! Het eten was goed… maar veel te duur.

Stopped here spontaneously at the end of a long motorcycle tour and was absolutely thrilled by the excellent food and very attentive and friendly service. We were served by at least four people and everyone was chatty, courteous and created a very welcoming atmosphere. The food wasn't run-of-the-mill Italian and was extremely tasty. We were also very impressed by the value for money and can definitely imagine coming here again on our next motorcycle tour.

What about hygiene? When Sebastiaan often wipes his wet nose with the back of his hand and also wipes his sweaty forehead with that hand, hygiene seems to be a thing of the past. Especially if you just continue preparing the pizza. Creepy, we won't go here anymore.

Bediening man op leeftijd die geen geduld had, wij hadden iet wat meer tijd nodig bij het maken van onze keuze, zijn reactie "zo moeilijk kan het toch niet zijn. Eten werd niet gelijktijdig geserveerd, kleine porties, kaas pizza met vijgen en walnoten, deze waren op, bediening kwam aan tafel met mededeling dat de vijgen op waren en idpv cherry tomaat, welgeteld 1 cherry tomaat geen walnoten. Zat nog aan de wijn en bier kwam ie vragen of we koffie wilden. Het tocht er heel erg, alle deuren stonden open. Glutenvrije pizza was prima. Voor goemoedelijke en limburgse gast vrijheid moet je hier niet!!!!

Italian cuisine doesn't get any better or more authentic than this. It was packed. Nevertheless, we were given a table for two. The dishes are beyond any doubt. The staff is on the ball and they are real Italians. The atmosphere is very cozy. And the location is very central in town. All of this at fair conditions. You can quickly drive over from Germany because you can't find something like that so quickly within a 50 kilometer radius.

Really bad. I went here and had to wait a really REALLY long time. I thought it must be quality because of the long wait, but when I got my pizza I was not very happy. It didn't even taste that good. And the food was way too expensive. (Had to pay €300 in total Approximately pay) The toilets are no better. A very small room where you can barely move and the toilet looked dirty. The door COULD NOT CLOSE COMPLETELY. And the lock was really bad, barely worked. Would NOT recommend this. Bad restaurant.

Coincidentally, 6 years after a holiday in South Limburg and having eaten at Vino e Cucina, we turned out to be staying in a B&B nearby. We recognized the square and since we were very impressed with this restaurant the first time, we booked again. Once again Vino e Cucina has exceeded our expectations (which were already high this time). Delicious food! Fantastic Italian menu, with clearly high-quality ingredients. Last week we had dinner with a group of 11 ladies. A special room was reserved for us. We had a tailor-made group package and it was wonderful! Start with a generously filled bruchetta and also a richly filled antipasti board. Not only did it look beautiful and fresh, but the flavors were also great! The various main courses were very tasty and to finish we had the grand dessert. We are very enthusiastic and would love to come again! Vorige week zijn we in dit restaurant wezen dineren. Direct een vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. e konden of in de wintertent zitten of binnen in het restaurant zelf. Dat laatste gedaan. De muziekkeuze was niet geheel mijn smaak en was vrij aanwezig. Ook de temperatuur binnen kon best een graadje lager. Dit restaurant heeft een menukaart waaruit ik slecht een keuze kon maken. Niet vanwege de hoeveelheid gerechten (die was ik mijn ogen precies goed) maar vanwege de hoeveelheid lekkere opties. Man, wat lastig! na lang wikken en wegen uiteindelijk gekozen voor een carpaccio van ingelegde en gepofte biet met burrata als voorgerecht en saltimbocca als hoofdgerecht. Die carpaccio was echt goddelijk. Ook de saltimbocca smaakte erg goed. De porties waren ook voldoende groot. Er kwam een wisselende maar vriendelijke bediening aan tafel. Helaas was mijn gekozen wijn niet meer op voorraad. Absoluut een restaurant om heen te gaan bij ons volgende bezoek aan Mechelen eo.

Voor de vierde keer hier gegeten en alweer een voltreffer. Echt Italiaans met bijpassende wijn! Een prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Volgend jaar komen we weer.

Wat kun je hier fantastisch eten. Wij aten spaghetti vongole. Ik heb het in Italië niet zo lekker gegeten als hier: subliem!! En wat een geweldige bediening! We gaan hier zeker naar terug.

We found this restaurant via Google Maps because we wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant. So we made a reservation for an evening last week. In terms of food it was okay, but organizationally it was not good. Not only did it take too long to take the food order, but the starter also took far too long. There were plenty of staff around, but there was only 1 employee who took orders and served all tables at least inside and on the terrace outside. Perhaps better distributed in terms of neighborhoods. After complaining once where the starter was, it would come soon. Fortunately it came quickly. But we weren't the only table. At least one other table that also had a starter also had to wait a long time. The tables that went for the pizza, it came quickly. So it seems that the kitchen processes the pizzas as a priority. Fortunately, main and dessert went faster and quick enough respectively. The interior was fine, but if you choose the table near the kitchen, keep in mind that there is a speaker directly above it. We noticed this too late, so you couldn't understand each other, especially at the beginning. the volume. Fortunately, this was corrected after reporting it to an employee.

We hadden vooraf gereserveerd, maar waren te vroeg. Dat was geen probleem en we werden vastvrij ontvangen. Er is een ruime kaart met pizza’s, pasta’s en vlees. Ook de dessert-kaart is heel erg aan te raden. We hebnen heerlijk gegeten. Eten kwam snel. En de bediening was heel aardig!

The food was very tasty, but the organization quite hopeless. They had taken way too many reservations. Even with a reservation we had to stand in line before there was a table. Having to wait an hour and a half for the main course is way too long, even when it's busy. Waited another 20 minutes to order dessert but no one came. Then we started paying. The desserts and coffee/tea from the table next to us were on our bill. They didn't seem to believe it at first, but eventually took it off the bill.

In onze vakantie hebben we hier twee keer gegeten. De gerechten zijn prima. Vooraf olijvenbrood met kruidenboter. De broodjes waren nog lekker warm. De pasta Genovese, Lasagna traditionele en pasta filetto e tartufo waren heerlijk. Ik wilde wat veranderen aan mijn pizza Quattro stagioni, dit was geen probleem en ook deze pizza was heerlijk. Als dessert bevelen wij de tiramisu en de trio di amore aan. Eén van ons was slechthorend en er kwam een groter gezelschap met kinderen bij ons in de ruimte zitten. Op ons verzoek kregen we meteen een rustiger plek aangeboden.

Op het binnenplein waan je je ín Italië! Gezellig ingericht. Zeer vriendelijke attente bediening, vlotte service. Heerlijke Barbera d’asti besteld! Heerlijke bruscetta vooraf. De visschotel voor 2 was superlekker en erg ruim! Samen met heerlijke pasta al dente! Een lekkere cappuccino als afsluiter!

It only went from a 7.5 during the starter almost immediately after a big insufficient score with the main course. The “luxury fish dish” of almost 70 euros. Had 2 shrimps, 2 langoustines and 2 small pieces of fish. The previous experience and also as described on the map lacked the shellfish. The bowl was otherwise full, only with pasta... many main courses were missing parts that were described on the menu and were swimming in oil. The price-quality ratio was therefore completely out of balance. Alcohol-free white wine was also ordered, which was ultimately out of stock and a red alcohol-free wine was brought to the table without consultation after a 20-minute wait. When the staff removed the warm plates, they allowed candle wax to drip into the drink and onto the glasses case. This was noticed by the staff, but no further apologies were made. The icing on the cake was asking for an extra spoon with the desserts, where the English-speaking waiter sighed and said: okay if you want this. Making it clear that she didn't feel like the extra walk down. The person who tried to make our evening better was a nice man from the service, who at the end was very happy to offer us a drink on the house. Unfortunately we don't drink, and that no longer made up for the disappointment of the high expectations of before. Afterwards we were told that there were two substitute chefs. The quality of before was not guaranteed, while the prices were accordingly... We also sat comfortably at a large round table. The desserts were fine. But this evening was very disappointing and not at all of the quality you would expect from the prices being asked. Unfortunately lost among these loyal fans.
