Had lunch at Van Maarssen. Delicious fish. Top-notch. We got a plate with fries, fish, and salad. The best salmon salad ever. No supermarket can match it. Convenient, the dog was allowed under the table. Super!!

Picked up salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, and surimi for sushi. The quality is good, it smells nice and fresh, and the taste is simply amazing. Don't even bother with the supermarket junk; this is many times tastier. I ordered it in advance—I have no idea if that is necessary (I don't think so)—and it was neatly ready. The man who took the reservation knew exactly what it was about. Recognition is nice. Yes, just 100% good. Product good, experience good, price good. - A few months later, bought sea bream; it was cleaned on the spot and went home fresh for the BBQ. Add some salt and pepper, some rosemary and thyme, and you have a delicious fish on the table in 20 minutes, just like being on vacation. The fish was delicious, it was fresh and smelled fresh too, which is pleasant. And the taste, well, that is simply amazing because it is quality.

Today we had a ready-to-heat meal with hot-smoked salmon, baby potatoes, and various asparagus spears with a tasty sauce. It is always delicious and of very high quality!

Today we had loaded fries with prawns at Vis van Baarsen, and I was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant looks beautiful and well-maintained, with a fresh, modern look. It's clear that they pay attention to both presentation and quality. The loaded fries were generously topped with flavorful, well-prepared prawns. The combination of crispy fries, tender prawns, and spicy truffle mayonnaise made for a delicious and well-balanced dish. Highly recommended if you're looking for something different than the standard kibbeling or fish. The atmosphere was also pleasant, and the service was friendly. Bought some particularly unappetizing kibbeling to take away. The kibbeling smelled rancid, like the smell of stale frying fat. After eating the kibbeling, our entire group got diarrhea. So. Never again.

Extra verse vis, goede sfeer en vriendelijke bediening. Wel druk op donderdag tijdens de marktdag. Namen een kibbelingschotel om mee te nemen. Mooi en goed verpakt met rauwkost, fritessaus, een grote portie kibbeling en frietjes. Ruime keuze aan gebakken vis en geen lange wachttijden.

After chwilę poczułem się jak w wiekiej Brytanii, gdzie pierwszym raz jadłem "fish and chips". Tutaj jednakże, bardzo zimponowało mi jak prosto i smacznie, jedzonko zostało mi podane błyskawicznie. Bardzo polecam. NL For a moment I felt like I was in Great Britain, eating fish and chips for the first time. However, here I was very impressed with how simple and tasty the food was served to me in no time. I highly recommend it

Very clean place, a bit too clinical for maximum atmosphere. But very good quality fish and preparation!

Fish is fresh . Fish is clearly fried in timely changed oil. I haven't come across any fried or rancid fish yet. Other products are of good quality, including salmon and salad. What I miss are the standard napkins on the table. And the mayonnaise is served in plastic bags, which I don't think is a good serving. I think this should be in a container. Fries are good with good seasoning.

Last year, when we were in the mood for fish and happened to be in Emmeloord, we went to Vis van Baarssen. It was so delicious at the time (eel sandwich and kibbeling) that we went in again this weekend when we were in the area. With high expectations; and yes: in my opinion the best kibbeling I have ever eaten! Owner provided a lot of information about the origin and showed his craftsmanship. Recommended to take a detour!

Prachtige zaak, heerlijk eten en leuk personeel.

Als hagenees ben ik wellicht verwend met de scheveningse vis en daardoor vooraf een beetje bevooroordeeld over alles wat daar ver vanaf wordt verkocht. Maar man, dit was goede vis! Niet overmatig gekruid en niet te vet, wel iets aan de prijs; maar dat betaal je tegenwoordig overal. Ook de ravigottesaus was uitstekend, is dat zelfgemaakt? Aanrader voor een lekker vissie.

Hier voor de tweede keer gegeten. Erg lekker, redelijk snelle bediening ondanks de drukte. Het is de prijs zeker waard. Mooie ruime zaak. Zeker een aanrader

Oog voor Kwaliteit, Hygiëne, goed personeel. De vis smaakt hier super, ik ga er iedere zaterdag graag heen voor een portie kibbeling, scholfilet en frites. Deze baarssen vis bakt niet met goedkopere vis maar met verse vis, en dat proef je terug in de smaakbeleving! Een echte aanrader dus!

Heerlijk gegeten! Een mooie, nieuwe, schone zaak. Vriendelijk en vlot personeel. Het eten was goed! Een lekker gebakken visje, en in de toonbank lagen heerlijk uitziende broodjes, salades en diverse soorten vis. Zeer betaalbaar.

Er waren 3 personen bediening en ik kreeg de indruk dat de 1 niet weet wat de ander aan het doen was. Beetje chaotisch. Duurde best wel lang voordat ik mijn bestelling kreeg en tussendoor nog vragen wat ik besteld had terwijl de bon er gewoon lag. Fish en chips zelf waren echt lekker en goed geprijsd.
