Got two containers of kibbeling at €6.00 each. One container contained 8 pieces of kibbeling, the other 9. Not a lot for €12.00.

Long waiting times, phone busy. Mediocre fish, special cod ordered, but it was really mushy.

Half an hour wait for cod, really cool! People who come later are helped sooner.

The new herring was delicious, first a herring sandwich and then took 4 more home + a cod, have been coming here for years, that says enough

Ordered fish at 4:40 pm, barely cooked, had seen the place by 5:00 pm, an employer who deals very nicely with staff and customers, definitely won't come back at this time.

Went there today and ordered a portion of fried mussels with raivigotte. However, I got a container of remoulade sauce. When I indicated that I would like to have raivigotte, the owner came over and said that they always serve either remoulade or garlic with it. I noticed that his attitude changed and when I asked if he found it annoying, he said "yes, actually he did". No normal conversation with this person, so arrogant and unfriendly to customers. No wonder that the staff turnover is so high here with such a boss. This guy also doesn't even know where his fish comes from in a previous conversation. From now on, I will go to Vishuis Sappemeer, friendlier staff and better service.

I ordered the delicious pastries, which were well cooked, but I missed some extra herbs.

I've eaten a lot of kibbeling and gourmands in my life, but here they are the tastiest. Not overcooked, so deliciously juicy fish, delicious crust and nicely seasoned. I took off 1 star because there were a lot of herbs around it. Furthermore, delicious. The Hollandse Nieuwe also had a great taste, while I was never crazy about herring! I guess it really depends on where you buy your fish.

You don't have to order a big deal. Then you get just as much as a small one. Exactly the same container, quantity. That's the only downside! The food is delicious.

After all this time, they still don't learn anything about hygiene and you have to ask them to clean the greasy table The fish is fine, it deserves the 5 stars, but the hygiene leaves much to be desired, tables and chairs are often greasy and dirty, I never see them clean the tables in between

Kibbeling and gourmet etc. are also tasty here, but the squid rings are strongly discouraged here. It looked like they were made of rubber. Highly recommended! They were difficult to swallow.

It is extremely expensive. €6 for 10 pieces of kibbeling, and then you wait 30 minutes and others who arrived later than you get their food earlier. Everything is extremely greasy and dirty.

The last time I ordered a large portion of kibbeling, it turned out to be a small portion when I got home. Today I ordered a large portion again and was told that I had received the wrong order last time. Instead of a "sorry, it can happen", they immediately went on the attack: What did you pay for it, madam? Never mind, I thought. There is little that can be done against customer-unfriendly staff. I'll get my fish elsewhere from now on.

Get fish from there often. It was also less fresh last time. Today my wife got 4 large portions. This eventually ended up in the waste container. Way too salty and tough, it's like you're chewing meat. And the striking shape is rectangular pieces of fish. Prices up and quality down is too much of a good thing. I called but they were surprised...well I know. Cheap old fish was used. Like most companies, success is short-lived, arrogance sets in and quality and service continues to decline.

Our experience at this location was extremely unpleasant and deeply concerning. When we first visited, we ordered a portion of shrimp and made a point to ask if they contained milk or egg, as our daughter has severe allergies. The cook confidently told us they did not. However, after consuming the shrimp, our daughter broke out in red spots and felt unwell for an entire week, leaving us worried and confused about the cause. On our return visit, we discovered to our horror that the shrimp do, in fact, contain egg. This kind of misinformation and lack of care is inexcusable, especially with such serious health implications. The service was shockingly poor, and we cannot trust this place anymore. Be very careful if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies.

I don’t know if they are racist or not but last week I asked if the shrimps have egg or milk inside because my daughter is allergic and they said no. GOD guided me to take out the crust and to give her the shrimp simple because if not I don’t know what would happen. Today I was again and they said that the shrimp have indeed egg… Now I know why she was feeling sick about a week.I am really angry because the allergies must be taken seriously, especially when in our case are so bad!

On our second visit, we ordered again and were shocked to find out that the shrimp actually do contain egg. This level of misinformation and lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially when dealing with food allergies. We no longer trust this place and want to mention to others to be very cautious; Staff only raised shoulders saying " i dont know ";

Great to sit here for a while. My daughter often comes along too. Kibbeling and herring always good. The menu includes fries. But apparently no more Russian salad, which is a shame a few months ago. And in terms of price. Well, everything is getting more expensive. Other than that I think it's fine there. And you can sit comfortably there.

It is a very good fish restaurant, clean and the food is delicious. From my experience I recommend everyone to go there.

Far from the coast but they know how to serve a Tasty Kibbeling. Golden yellow instead of brown baked... just the way I (and many others) like it. No children's portions, but that was resolved well with an extra plate. We come more often. We will bring our own ketchup and peanut sauce.

Did you think you were going to eat kibbeling, a large portion? Well, not so. The portion was nice and big, but me and my colleague are now sitting on the pot. Looks like we have a stone in our stomach!

Really good fish, more than enough for the taste. The portion of kibbeling is very sad. A container of exactly 6 pieces for 6.50 is on average more than a euro for a piece of kibbeling. If you want to be satisfied, you must order at least 3 containers of kibbeling. Shame.

Always tasty fish. Full-fat tasty herring. Crispy - and not stuffed with fat - kibbeling. Sometimes you have to wait a while because it is often busy. But the hustle and bustle is not there for nothing ;)

If you like those new Karen restaurants go ahead! If you want a normal place where you are treated with respect, definitely don't go here. Was almost refused to order fish due to... my appearance.

Half jaar terug was de kibbeling niet lekker. Had het meegenomen. Plakkerig. Kan gebeuren, afgelopen week weer besteld, werksfeer oogde niet fijn, helaas weer plakkerige kibbeling...jammer. Is wellicht niet mijn smaak.

Heerlijke warme vis en een snelle vriendelijke bediening. Een makkelijk waarschuwingssysteem om aan te geven dat je bestelling gereed is.

Je krijgt hier geen broodje makreel maar een makreel met een broodje erom 😍

Van de eerder gegeven 5 sterren geef ik nu maar 3 sterren omdat er sinds kort als wij er eten ik de kibbeling soms wat vet vind en de salade die je bij een kibbeling plate krijgt ineens goedkope niet smakelijke aardappel salade zit. De tafeltjes worden niet schoongemaakt, waarom geen idee, zou wel beter voor de service zijn. Ik merk dat het hier druk is en ze voor zulke dingen geen tijd hebben.

Altijd leuk en gezellig hier een visje te eten. Gelukkig een goede toilet voorziening.

Gezellige viszaak. Al een paar keer kibbeling en gebakken vis gehaald. Echt goed eten,de sfeer is ook goed.

Er zijn aantal vis kraampjes in hoogezand maar deze is de lekkerste, vind ik en ook de dichtstbijzijnde.

Ik heb eigenlijk niks met Hoogezand, maar bij toeval heb ik hier een lekkerbekje gehad. Daar zou ik een volgende keer zeker Hoogezand nog een keer voor aandoen. Echt een aanrader!

Vis erg lekker altijd weer leuk om even te zitten

Prima kibbeling.. maar geen goede service.. kassière houdt zich het liefst stil. Als je binnen wilt eten krijg je een piepende melder mee als je eten klaar is, te lui om te brengen? Nog nooit meegemaakt.. ach-ja.. Goede rafigottisaus!

Heerlijke gebakken lekkerbekje en kibbeling. Als ik weer in de buurt ben ga ik er zeker weer heen.

Man kann dort essen, zubereitet mitnehmen oder frischen Fisch zum selber zubereiten für zu Hause kaufen. Sehr leckerer Fisch... Menü (Fisch, Pommes, Kartoffelsalat, Mayonnaise, Remouladensauce und etwas Deko plus ein 0,2L Getränk nach Wahl) für 12,95€. Reichliche Portion die man kaum schafft. Gastraum sauber, eher Kantinen-flair.

Lekker visje maar niks bijzonders. Tenzij je mensen wilt kijken maar niet sfeervol.

1 keer in de week eet ik vis dan ga ik daar heen heerlijke kibbeling en lekkerbekjes en vergeet de haring ook niet top deze
