We were looking forward to another evening at Vista. We found it disappointing. Ordered a 6 course menu. After 2.1/2 hours we were ready for the last course. In our opinion, the courses came too quickly one after the other. We had the feeling that the drive was a bit lacking among the staff. For a star restaurant, quite a few “mistakes” were made. In terms of communication, we lacked customer focus a bit. However, the food was excellent and the explanation of the wines by the sommelier was also excellent. We have been here several times but unfortunately the service level is no longer what it used to be and is not star worthy.

Had dinner here last month and what a wonderful experience it was, everything perfect down to the last detail. We opted for the Prestige menu and that is highly recommended. Great service, superior dishes, beautiful view. Price/quality 10 out of 10.

Really delicious meal here, very good service. They listen to your preferences and dietary requirements/ allergies. Staff very friendly and not too pushy. Perfect wine choices made by the clerk, thanks for this! We will definitely come back here!

It has become even more of a top business. I revoke my previous review from about 2 years ago. Vista has grown enormously in recent times in terms of atmosphere and experience. The dishes have always been 100%, but the service had to create its own style. That worked out and because I didn't shy away from it, I experienced that positive development. It's just great now! I have always thought it was a restaurant with potential, but in the past 1 - 2 years the ambiance has not only become more cozy and warmer, but the service has become more relaxed and customer-oriented. As a frequent visitor to star locations in the Netherlands, I have now been here 5 times. The wait staff tries very hard, nothing wrong with that, but the atmosphere is a bit cool. The soul in this matter is (still) hard to find.

Unfortunately, the lady at the door told us that we couldn't afford this restaurant. Maybe if I hadn't spoken to my wife in Polish, everything would have been fine. But we ate deliciously at another place. We're sorry we wanted to come in. It won't happen again.

Fantastic place and sublime cuisine! We enjoy coming here, every time is a wonderful and special experience. The staff knows their trade and the sommelier is absolutely knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal there, but a big downside...We had received a gift voucher for a 6 course dinner, to our surprise we had to pay 20.00 extra because the menu had become more expensive. We find this very customer unfriendly and not businesslike at all. And that for such a restaurant.

This afternoon I experienced a culinary adventure at Restaurant Vista that far exceeded my expectations. I took a 4-course lunch menu, which was served together with 3 amuses beforehand and coffee with friandises afterwards. The food tasted just like it looked: delicious! What was particularly striking were the refined wine-food combinations. The service was impeccable: professional, attentive and always with a smile. Perhaps a slightly more informal approach would have lightened the atmosphere a little, but this did not detract from the overall quality of the service. It is clear that we work here with passion and craftsmanship. I can only heartily recommend Vista to anyone looking for a top-level gastronomic experience.

Beautiful restaurant where we enjoyed the beautiful view and the delicious dishes (even with rain)! Service is also top notch as are the wines!

Our first visit to VISTA Willemstad was a party from start to finish! Every dish from the 'freshness of nature menu' was a feast for the eyes and an excellent symphony of flavors. Man-o-man, what a gift if you can cook like that. VISTA's professional and friendly 'crew' and the amazing view over the water are the icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed all the surprises, the relaxed get-together and the matching wines. We will absolutely - with love - come back again. Thanks to the captain and his crew! ✌🏼

Enjoyed a 7 course menu, cheese is served from a cheese cart. We drank a fresh chardonnay and a delicious port with the cheese. We paid €385 for 2 people but it is definitely worth it. Beautiful location, probably even more beautiful in spring and summer. Now we saw nothing of the surroundings.

A star like anyone who loves to eat! So tasty, cozy and good. Really great!

Excellent restaurant where you can enjoy excellent food, in a beautiful location with a view over the water. The flavors are strikingly fresh and surprising. All dishes are beautifully presented. Service very friendly. Free parking in front of the door. Recommended!

Fantastic meal for our son's 21st birthday. Very nicely balanced 7 course surprise menu. Too bad they didn't have an alcohol-free package (only mocktails, which were tasty). Friendly service. Price-wise, normal for a 1-star restaurant.

Very nice restaurant in a beautiful location. Very friendly service. The food was tasty, but slightly more pronounced flavors expected from a star restaurant. Compared to other restaurants we have been to, we lacked the real Wow feeling.

Ga hier met enige regelmaat naar toe. Het is genieten van begin tot eind, subtiele aandacht, vriendelijkheid. Ik lees terug over onvriendelijk personeel, ik sta verbaasd. De mannen presenteren met iets meer passie als ik dat mag vinden. Maar allemaal net zo vriendelijk, gunnen je de beleving, voelen aan of er een praatje kan of niet. Ik heb werkelijk niets op of aan te merken aan geen van allen! Het eten is subliem. Ik kan er echt niet meer over zeggen, ik kom er iedere 3 tot 4 maanden, en geniet iedere keer voluit. Ps ik wil nog even toegevoegd hebben, sorry maar een Michelin sterren restaurant is gewoon geen openbaar toilet. Punt. Ga naar de vesting en er zit meer dan zat, ook zeer leuke tentjes waar je gelijk wat kunt eten. Kom op zeg, en dan 1 ster geven.

Top gelegen restaurant in Willemstad. Behoorlijk aan de prijs, echter voor speciale gelegenheden zeker een aanrader.

Fantastisch gegeten bij Vista, alles was perfect!! Heerlijk 5 gangen menu gehad, starter zeer creatief , amuse en alle gangen waren met passie, kennis en liefde bereid. Koffie was zeer lekker nog met van allerlei lekkernijen. Prachtig uitzicht op het water. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Dikke aanrader!!

Het was een geweldige ervaring. Onze kleinkinderen waren voor het eerst in een restaurant met een Michelinster. Aangezien de smaak van kinderen nog niet gelijk is aan die van volwassenen hebben ze gere heten voor de kinderen waar nodig aangepast. Crew van Vista heel erg bedankt voor de ervaring

Gastvrije ontvangst. Prachtige locatie. Vriendelijk en service gericht. Top in de puntjes verzorgd en genoten van de voortreffelijke en smaakvolle gerechten. Een heerlijke avond gehad. En zeker een aanrader!!

Heerlijk gegeten. Aandacht voor de presentatie van de gerechten. Vriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben op het buiten terras gezeten. mooie plek. Helaas weinig tot geen sfeer verlichting toen het donker werd maar er werd ons uitgelegd dat er anders veel ongedierte op afkwam. Dat is wel begrijpelijk.

Fancy restaurant, lived up to the expectation. Very high price tag which is normal for these kinds of places. Expect €200+ per person with some wine. Some very interesting food combinations, good wines and good service is what you get in return.

Mooi uitzicht, bijzondere plek. Tip eerstveen duik in de Schelde daarna het terras en een hapje.

Perfect. Het was wel een beetje jammer dat het erg stil was (normaal zit het voor mijn gevoel altijd vol)

Het eten, de gastvrijheid en service stelt nooit teleur. We zijn er al vaker geweest en we zullen er nog vaker komen. Als je de kans hebt zeker eens heen gaan het eten is heerlijk en de locatie prachtig.

Super qua eten, het beste restaurant dat ik ooit heb bezocht en een heel vriendelijke bediening. Ook heel Romantisch qua sfeer en uitzicht.

Klasse kost een paar centen meer dan doorgaans maar daar sparen we dan maar voor:-) hele leuke belevenis met hoogwaardig eten en drinken👌🏻

Wat is dit een feestje om te zijn. Super avonden, geweldige combinaties. Aanraden waard.

Heerlijk en fijne ervaring! Wij hebben het zes gangenmenu gekozen. De gerechten zijn kunstwerkjes met ieder zijn eigen fantastische smaak. De laatste gang hebben we niet voor een dessert gekozen, maar de kazen. Ook blij met deze keuze. We hebben niet gekozen voor het wijnarrangement. Er moest nog teruggereden worden.

Der Ort ist schön im Sommer zum Radfahren und um die Historie in der Umgebung zu erkunden. Sehr nettes Restaurant, freundliche Bedienung.

Wat is er aandehand met Vista ,dat we teleurgesteld het pand hebben moeten verlaten! Terwijl de 4 vorige keren het uitstekend en verrassend was. We kregen een leuke tafel aan het Hollandsdiep, gekozen voor een 6 gangen menu met begeleidende wijnen zou een feestje moeten zijn, echter liep het anders dan we gewend waren, erg jammer!!!! Prachtig sanitair jammer dat deze niet werkt.

Hele fijne lunch gehad hier afgelopen week. Hartelijke ontvangst, super relaxt personeel, niet te stijf, en gewoon héél lekker eten! Eerst 2 hapjes bij de bubbels gevolgd door een amuse. , waarna ons 7 gangen menu kon beginnen . Grootste verrassingen, de frisse geitenkaasboter, de cacoa bij de tonijn, de snoekbaars en dan vooral de hele lekkere zuurkool (!), de ongefilterde wijn en de appel " ijswijn". Maar eigenlijk was alles even goed 😋😉goeie prijs kwaliteit, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar
