Great experience at this cafe. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff who are attentive to the customer. Thanks also for the water with ice cubes in the water bottle on a hot hiking day.

I had asked for the Wienerwald-style mushroom cream sauce made with rump steak with the schnitzel. According to the waiter, it was then the Hunter's Schnitzel. The sauce was absolutely not the same. But the waiter insisted that this was the cream sauce. Very disappointing. However, a beautiful setting, quick and otherwise friendly service. Good value for money.

A wonderful place with a rich history and an impressive atmosphere. Wacht am Rhein in Tuindorp breathes history and is a special location to visit. The surroundings are well-maintained and exude an authentic atmosphere. For lovers of history and military strategies, this is an interesting place to learn more about. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the Second World War and the historical significance of this region.

There was live music, pleasantly busy, though the beer glasses were small, but then just walk to the bar a bit more often during the live music. Paying with tokens, 2.50 each, so I understand the somewhat smaller beer glasses.
