Wednesday, March 17, 2023. A special day was celebrated. A one-month relationship anniversary with my girlfriend. This, of course, had to be celebrated after a tragic but very beautiful day (March 16, 2023) when my partner Dennis R.X. de Jong's phone died. A truly tragic event, but the grief was soothed by two delicious frikandel pinda (peanut frites). The crust was wonderfully crunchy, and the peanut sauce had a wonderfully spicy edge. This, combined with a delicious beer—Pitt Bier, of course—(a tip from Nick Regeer) is an exceptionally heavenly combination. And then I made a review video myself, and to top it all off, my girlfriend also got a snack. Nick Regeer (that's me) and his girlfriend will never forget this day after this. While yesterday's day ended badly, with highs and lows, this day was full of nothing but highs. An incredibly friendly chef, too.

Today, May 16, 2023, what promised to be a beautiful day turned into a beautiful one. Partly thanks to a frikandel with peanut sauce from Vonk's Automatiek. One of the best renditions of this traditional Dutch heritage I've ever tasted. The chemistry between the delicious sauce and the crust is not only inspirational, but simply revolutionary. When I sunk my teeth into this delicious roll of meat, I was immediately in love. "The frikandels from Vonk's Automatiek combined with Pitt Beer is an incredibly exorbitant combination." This is a quote from a good business associate named Nick Regeer. Today I put it to the test, and I can only agree with him. The best frikandels in Winschoten and the surrounding area. He's also a really nice chef.

Too bad, very disappointed! For the price and quality, it's not really what you'd expect. Different sauces are used to make it as cheap as possible. The fries were broken. I was also very disappointed with the burgers, which are quite expensive. Last time I've been here.

It's always nice to have a chat. And the frikandel is always delicious there.

Now under new ownership. This new owner has put Vonk back on track. The egg balls are back to their old self: fresh and delicious. Just like the other snacks. Well done!!

Leuke mensen die het overgenomen hebben

Het eten is heeeel erg lekker en daar gaat het natuurlijk om, wel is het super vervelend dat er op de site staat dat ze open zijn en loop je er helemaal heen en vervolgens zijn ze dicht... dit is vaker gebeurt en tis net of ze gewoon dicht gaan wanneer het hen uit komt en niet rekening houden met de tijden die op de site staan. Je zal er dus vaak voor niks heen gaan.

Namens mijn vrouw is hier de lekkerste salade te koop. Wat ook opvalt is dat deze nieuwe eigenaar bijzonder klantvriendelijk is en graag een praatje met je komt maken. Ondanks dat hier de lekkerste salade te koop is, zou er naar mijn eigen smaak iets meer mayo in mogen met een snippertje augurk.

Een lekker oud cafetaria'tje met allerhande zelfgemaakte producten. De eierbal MOET iedereen een keer in zijn leven geprobeerd hebben!
