First I called to order, then I asked for it and I got the greetings from my mother and they hung up! Then I went there and I ate something and it smelled really bad of vermin. I took a bite and threw up on a female employee. Before this accident I was cursed at 30 times in Chinese with the word aijen hey gwee. Very strange but they get 5 stars for the atmosphere because they portray the Chinese as they really are.

I ordered this and picked it up for an early dinner, it was one of the best Chinese food I've eaten recently. It had a very unique taste with the spices being on point. Would definitely order again.

Five stars, especially because the price-quality ratio is top. I live near this restaurant and I notice that there are always lines of cars waiting outside to pick up their food. That must be a good sign! After much hesitation, I decided to order food here. I have made several attempts to order something over the phone, but apparently they cannot always answer due to the crowds. I would advise just walking in and ordering as you will get your food surprisingly quickly. Inside, the restaurant is not attractive at all. But it is precisely these types of restaurants that serve the best food. What do you get then? Mega large portions that can easily last you two days. And this at a very low price. I went for the Chicken Fried Rice myself. A combination of rice and potato is also available on request. Are you looking for a delicious, affordable and quick bite in Groningen? Wah Hing is then where you need to be.

Always good/delicious food for a competitive price!

Delicious food at a surprisingly good price. Completely different from the Dutch Chinese Indian restaurant. This is much tastier. You can eat it there, but it is mainly intended as a takeaway. Highly recommended!

A good and affordable choice! Three girls can eat a large portion of fried noodles. As a Taiwanese, I think the taste is very authentic~~very delicious It’s real Chinese food 🤩 (The picture shows a large portion of Beef Chow mien, with a fist as a scale 👊🏻)

Absolutely life changing! Incredible quality for the very cheap price. Generous portions with amazing flavor. 11/10 can highly recommend.

Please DO NOT waste your money here! It really is the worst food I've ever had anywhere. I just threw my money away. The food has a very strange taste. The chicken satay did not contain satay. The noodles and beef a la paria are just super gross!

Delicious food, satay ku batata and porkchop highly recommended. Long waiting times but friendly staff and good food so it's completely worth it. The price-quality ratio is also top. My friend would like to mention: there was a lot of sauce with the satay

This is American sorta style Chinese, which is what I was looking for. Really good! Huge portions. Like,overflowing the container. Highly recommend chicken chow mein and beef tjap tjoi. The picture with the egg was leftovers. I added tauge, green onion, fried egg, Chipotle hot sauce, and a basil garnish.

Dropped by yesterday. Indo menu on the window not available. Found out when we ordered items from that menu. Then ordered something else from the other menu. At least one hour for tjap choi 😳🤔. We left

Not the best Chinese food you’ll ever have, but it’s still pretty good and you get huge portions for the price you pay.

The food is fine, but waiting almost an hour for your order is not convenient. Then I say about priced, about valued. I won't be ordering anything from here again. I'm done with it.

Even though we have lived years in the neighborhood, we had never eaten at this place. It’s very good, quantity is huge, definitely very oily & fried but very good! Only takeout possible

Yes, I have been coming here for years, but now that I don't have a car for a while, I took the bus to the Zuiderdiep and walked a bit, but it is definitely worth it. And I had a delicious meal and I'm still talking about how much you get. And it's always delicious, but they always forget to add sambal and now I've forgotten to ask myself. So no sambal that I love so much. But the photo says it all, it still looks good. And it is also very tasty.

Tasty food, large portions, I eat 1 'small' dish for 2 days. One of the few order/collection shops nowadays where you still get value for your money.

Ordered for the first time and absolutely great! Review briefly edited because it seemed to have been posted at the wrong restaurant. I also got some Wah-hing for the first time on the advice of my brother who was very enthusiastic about it. Beef and chicken alaparia really fantastic! It's a shame that those dishes are no longer known in the Netherlands. I live in Friesland myself and happened to have to be in Groningen, so I can't make it often, but if I'm in Groningen again, I will definitely take it again! 😁

Excellent Antillian Chinese food. Still one of the most affordable options in town. Portion size is excellent.

Picked up food here more often. Was always great. Only now all the food was from yesterday. So not fresh. Potatoes really weren't tasty anymore. Spareribs reheated in sweet soy sauce. Can't eat that sweet. Chicken piripiri drowned in the soy sauce. Unfortunately we no longer pick up food here. Still, €38 ended up in the trash.

Great food with big portions for a good price!

The food was delicious, the potions of the food were massive, and it was really worth the price. The staff was lovely. It is a really hidden gems place.

1e keer eten afgehaald en potverdriedubbeltjes zeg wat is dit geweldig! Vrijdags gehaald en denk dat we het hele weekend er nog wel zoet mee zijn! Echt geweldig lekker was alles!

We didn't expect anything from this restaurant since only heard it from a friend, but in the end we were amazed by how good their Roasted Duck is! Maybe it was the hunger factor but boy oh boy it was the best duck I have eaten (in NL)! It cost us 17€, which you might think is expensive for one dish, but considering the portion, included with rice and the taste, I have nothing but praise 👏 FYi, the resto doesn't accept eat in, only take-aways!

Heerlijk eten voor een topprijs

Veel sfeer hoef je niet te verwachten bij een afhaal restaurant, maar van het eten wel. Dat laatste was zeker niet slecht.

Helaas smaakte de moksi meti minder lekker dan voorheen. Vergeten ook nog de beker pika. Beetje jammer.

Zeer scherp geprijsd, grote porties en machtig eten. Velen beweren dat dit geen echte 'Hollandse' Chinees is, dat klopt, het is een Antilliaanse Chinees. Verwacht daarom gerechten met een Caribische twist, wat in mijn optiek lekkerder is. Vergeet vooral geen beker extra pica te bestellen. Je kunt makkelijk met drie personen van een grote portie eten. De telefoon wordt soms inderdaad niet opgenomen, het is dan gewoon te druk. Als je er naartoe gaat kun je dan wel gewoon bestellen, soms duurt dat wel langer dan normaal. Bel daarom altijd eerst even van tevoren of bestel wat later.

Goed en lekker eten voor een normale prijs

Eating their food is a transcendent experience. The price to quality to quantity ratio is insane its all so good. If they started doing delivery or sit in again I think the world would implode. 11/10

Kapot lekkere nasi niet duur en je krijgt een goede bak

Wah Hing: Lage prijs, simpel maar smakelijk eten: je krijgt wat je ervoor betaald. Ik eet vegetarisch en wou vandaag ook tjaptjoi bestellen, maar dat kon helaas niet, met als reden dat “vanwege drukte we geen tjaptjoi kunnen maken”. Ik ga voortaan meteen naar de iets duurdere concurrent waar het eten topkwaliteit is.

Altijd ruime porties en lekker eten. Prijs en hoeveelheid is keer dan goed. Alleen houd er rekening mee dat je lang moet wacht. Wanneer ze 45 minuten zeggen kom dan rond 1,5 uur. Ach Antilliaanse tijden.

Altijd heerlijk eten bij Wah Hing!!!

Het eten is hier heel goed, met de auto heen gaan is niet handig, weinig parkeerplek. Veel eten voor een goede prijs en nog heel lekker ook. Veel keuze ik zeg ga heen en bekijk de menukaart.

Ik was toevallig in Groningen en moest nog eten. Google stuurde me naar deze plek. Ik kwam binnen en door het Papiamento besefte ik dat ik voor het eerst bij een Antilliaanse Chinees zou eten. 11 euro betaald voor een kleine portie roast pork met fried rice. De bak was groter dan mijn hoofd en het smaakte goed. Morgen heb ik nog over voor ontbijt zelfs! Masha danki :)
