A household name, especially among the Surinamese and The Hague community. They have risen sharply in price in recent years. But the saoto is still delicious. My other recommendations are the noodles, telo bakkeljauw, pitjel and bakabana.

All employees should honestly receive training in how to respond to customers in a normal manner. Seriously, you run a shop where you can buy delicious food. But you really behave like dogs.

Have ordered here several times now for on-time pickup. Every time I arrived, my name was neatly given and they look at the orders, walk back to the cash register and you are not approached or spoken to. You can then wait about 30 minutes and tell the staff again that you have been waiting 30 minutes or more for an order that has apparently been ready all that time. You don't even get an apology. The food is otherwise good. But the service is just ridiculously bad. So I certainly won't be stealing from here again as long as things continue like this. This also covers a period of 5 years. Apparently this isn't going to change either. Therefore 2 stars.

Last time I was here the soup was very expensive at €7.50 and when you get home you have a half full container with a little chicken and an egg and if you take it with you you pay for containers and bags, which adds another €4 to what? So please take a look at the photo. Is this kaulo ma pampa soup worth €7.50?? 😡 scammers you pay for Boeljon or not? And the next time people buy something, give them that kaulo coupon, yes!! Teach your kaulo staff to be friendly and let them ask if you want a coupon or not!!

Very busy, food is good, but very expensive tehn other warungs, very long waiting rows for food. The place is small & cozy. Can't make reservations before. Eat & Go. Not really a place to sit quite and enjoy the food the talkies. No atmosphere.

Picked up food today because it was too busy inside. So I went to eat in the car and the food was really cold. You shouldn't expect that if you just got the food 5 minutes ago. The bun was rock hard and also very cold. The pie was not normally cold. Calling is also not possible because they do not answer the phone. This restaurant has lost its reputation. The saoto soup has become three times more expensive and the quality of the soup is poor. There is little to no chicken in the soup. The chicken is replaced with more potatoes, fries and more. Incomplete orders. Rude staff, poor customer service. I won't recommend this place to anyone.

I had a chicken curry sandwich, which was nothing special, ordering food and paying via QR code is not my thing, so no contact with the staff.

Ordered a shrimp sandwich and soup. I get my sandwich first. After I asked if I could get everything at once, they took the sandwich away. Then a little later I get everything on the table. The bun in the oven turns out to be completely hard. When I asked for a fresh sandwich they had to think hard about it. I placed the sandwich at the counter and indicated that it was no longer required. I don't fall for €5, but here they fall for some shrimp and a sandwich. Not recommended at all. Very bad.

NEVER AGAIN WARUNG MINI. I placed an order at Warung Mini Rijswijk via the website. Something went wrong and my order ended up at Warung Mini The Hague. Once I arrived at Warung Mini Rijswijk, my order was not in the system and I ordered again at the counter. I then tried to call the branch in The Hague to recover the first amount. The branch did not answer. A little later I tried again and the branch answered. After explaining my story, it was not possible to get the first amount back, because "the food had already been prepared." When I indicated that I had already called before, I was told "yes, but if it is busy it may be that we do not record”. In the end I did not get my money back. The staff was very unfriendly and uncooperative. Disappointing that customers are treated this way. Once I was eating there was also a hair in my food!!!! 😡

Real value for money. The roti chicken fillet was delicious and for €14. Ordering with the QR code also went well. We did have to wait a bit long for our food during lunch time, but it was well worth the wait!

At Fat Kee I wait half an hour or more! At the other restaurants you have to ask every time if you want more sambal and sauces. They have plenty on the table here. The last time I get roti there! I had roti chicken breast. The taste was bland, the chicken was dry and the potatoes were mush. The worst thing for me was that I suddenly had a piece of plastic in my mouth along with the chicken. That's really not done. I didn't bother reporting this, my experience is that they don't do anything with feedback. Too bad, no quality here. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Toilets are not maintained during opening hours and are not clean, which is a shame!! From puddles on the floor and a clogged sink that just doesn't overflow! So washing your hands was not really possible. I ordered 2 empty containers, because you can order and pay online, but you will not receive a receipt. Then you will be looked at askance if you say that you ordered 2 containers instead of 1!! I definitely recommend this eatery for delicious Surinamese food! Been coming here for years, but what a decline. You don't have to pick up your food yourself at the counter. Food was very disappointing. Nasi, noodles and chicken were tasteless. We left food out. With some nasi you got sour, while others didn't. Even soato soup was inedible. Whatever service, they ignore you and you only get comments when you ask something or indicate that you are missing something. We spent over 100 euros here. Just a waste of money. We won't be coming here again!!!

But downright bad nasi tasted like brown rice with only salt, bakkeljauw bright red and sweet, Bakabana was certainly as thick as a deck of playing cards. For a restaurant where saoto is their main source of income... That one is perhaps the worst of the list, it was so dark before I even put Ketjap in it, almost black, just a nasty taste. roti potato tasteless, vegetables too... Now I remember why I eat at Manis. This was a real waste of my 70 euros

Got sandwiches yesterday. I could use some pepper but the sandwiches had so much pepper as if it were chili sauce. I didn't enjoy my sandwiches at all (!). A real tip for you: spread pepper with a little love unless extra pepper is requested. Judging from the responses, I'm not the only one who has suffered from this.

Just been to Rijswijk 5 minutes ago and asked very politely if they were open yet. But I spoke to the biggest antisocial employee who told me with hand gestures and shouting that they wouldn't open for another 15 minutes... I then called Warung Mini Den Haag again the next day (Rijswijk is not available by phone). Finally I had someone on the phone: told my story and was supposed to be called back by Rijswijk, but that never happened! It happens quite often that the order is incorrect, but this time it was extreme. Occasionally there is too little bread provided, so I often leave it alone. But this time it was nasi with shrimps, 1 telo and 2 chicken curry sandwiches!!!

One of the 'better' among Surinamese restaurants. But in recent years they have increasingly lost their Surinamese authenticity. Shame.

We visited on a Friday evening around 5:30 pm and it was already really busy. We had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table. Make sure to tell the staff that you're waiting for a table (otherwise they might think you're there for takeaway) The Saotao Soep was 5 stars worthy. Warm, flavorful and delicious. Satay Bami was yummy but it was a bit too oily. The Chicken Roti was good but not the best. The speed of service is fast for food but waiting for the table can take some time.

Warung Mini XL The Hague is the undisputed no. 1 Surinamese restaurant in the region of The Hague, Rotterdam and surrounding areas (perhaps in the whole of the Netherlands). The food tastes very good and I regularly come for a hot lunch or takeaway.

Ordered a piece of bacon and took it with me. Never came, I forgot about it myself. Too bad, paid for it. Can I come pick it up next time?
