What a great place to celebrate my 50th birthday! Het Wasven is a green oasis in the city – many of my guests had not heard of it and were pleasantly surprised. The location is beautiful, the staff (thanks to Kim, Suus and chef Tomas) super friendly and the snacks and BBQ from the Big Green Egg were delicious. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. I look back with great gratitude and pleasure on a successful afternoon and evening. An absolute must if you want to organize a party!

Growth and bloom festival at the Wasven. Lovely afternoon between the rain showers with sunshine, what luck! Wasven is already a place where I like to go but now with this festival extra cozy and fun for young and old. Enjoyed live music, many stalls with dishes from different countries and cultures, Delicious! Flower arranging, washing wool, beekeeping got a lot of information and many other interesting stalls. Sheep were sheared and cared for, a lamb was rejected by mother and walked happily behind the carer through the audience. Oh yes, not to forget a cuttings market where you can buy a lot of vegetable and herb cuttings. Perfect day in a perfect place Simply top. Enough parking spaces if you come by car. Definitely worth it.

Nature work day at Wasven is always very well organized. The store and local products are also of high quality and taste delicious!

Good restaurant, friendly staff. And what is important, you can also eat gluten-free.

We were invited there for dinner. When I came in they asked what I wanted to drink. I asked for a Coke Zero. They didn't have that. Asked for something else from zero. I was given the choice of fermented tea spa blue or spa red. Had 1 spa blue on it which I didn't like. I asked for a normal glass of tap water, but she wouldn't serve it. You can't go there for people who like to drink Zero or are not allowed to drink other things. She did not want to serve tap water herself. What should have been a pleasant evening was quickly ruined. I left Wasven with screeching tires. Too disgusting for words!!! I also sent them an email, but there was no response at all. They can't deal with criticism there!!! Update There has been email contact, but they don't take it very seriously.

Best volunteering experience at Wasven

What a beautiful environment and what nice people. If you would like to get married in greenery, we definitely recommend this location! We celebrated our wedding here at the end of August. Wasven has a delicious kitchen, much of which comes from its own (vegetable) garden. Plus a baker/pastry shop who made beautiful cakes for us (and a bowl of tiramisu). They also arranged (rosemary) plants from their own vegetable garden that we could give to the guests. In any case, thanks to Wasven, we had an unforgettable day!

Effenaar 'tWasven, again enjoyed a wonderful casual music session in nature, highly recommended. Next session is on Sunday, August 25.

Last Sunday I was at WasVen. Ate fries first. I thought they were delicious, home-made fries!!! And later sat on the grass, enjoying the music and the atmosphere. Nice that the children play around dancing. A really nice relaxed atmosphere! Had a nice afternoon, will definitely come again!

A great family restaurant between wooded areas. I would give it a 5-star rating. You can take a nice hours long walk just after your meal.

With the nice weather it is wonderful to sit on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a nice organic beer.

Nice place where they support handicapped people but i don't like places where you cannot order a glass of tap water when you order a full table of drinks and tarts...

Eten was smakeloos en weinig,de kruiden van de worstenbroodjes waren onevenredig verdeeld er waren mensen die heel veel peper hadden, die van mij (en andere) was/waren zonder/heel weinig kruiden. Het buffet werd in de gang opgediend, de bovenkamer was slecht toegankelijk omdat er overal spanten zaten, wij waren met een groep met oudere mensen en dan moet je over of onder een spant door om bij de tafel te komen..... Kortom een tegenvaller.

Mooie omgeving en lokatie. Goede service en mooi gelegen.

Wir waren dort auf der Außenterrasse mit einer größeren Gruppe. Die Bedienung war freundlich und kompetent, angesichts der Größe der Gruppe hin und wieder leicht überfordert. Zu essen gab es reichhaltig belegte Bauernbrotschitte. Der Belag war jeweils mit passenden Dressings verziert. Vorweg gab es eine Suppe, vermutlich eine Kürbissuppe (sie war gelb und hatte grüne Einlagen aber ohne Geschmack; positiv sei zu bemerken, das sie richtig temperiert war). Trotz der Suppe ein schönes Erlebnis.

Nice, cozy, community-based initiatives and inclusive (mentally less able people are welcome to work here, so please take your time if you want to enjoy here). They grow their own bio vegetables which you can taste in their restaurant and also freshly cut for you to bring home. There's also a bakery where our beautiful 3 layer wedding cake was made. Also have many activities such as music, workshops, gardening group etc. We come back here every year to celebrate as our wedding was here under the >300 years old tree (lucikly before the fire) and in the green heart 💚🌳Thank you so much for preserving the greens in Brainport area despite all the challenges, and also connecting the neighbourhood, plus for our future generations! Please continue to support the tree and such beautiful neighbourhood initiatives! Tips: reserve your table online especially if it is a sunny day

Heel leuk geholpen door onze ober met humor. De mensen die er werken hebben een beperking. Het eten (salade) was erg lekker.

De moeite waard om te gaan kijken!!

Verscholen pareltje. .Bij toeval daar uitgekomen Heerlijk gegeten en fijne bediening

Genoten van een Boerderijunch (min 10 pers.). Heerlijke salades met groenten uit eigen moestuin. En bijzonder brood! Twee soorten kroketten: vlees en groenten.Bijzondere personeel, dat erg zijn best doet, maar dat kost wel wat extra tijd. Prima adres om te lunchen!

An happy and nice place, 5 minutes far from Eindhoven. Large options of bio food and drinks. Pulled pork alone worth the visit. If you are looking for a breakfast or a meal outside, in the trees' shadow, Wasven is your answer and it's my advice!

Heerlijk rustige plek voor koffie met heerlijk gebak of n lunch

Het was vandaag weer eens lekker weer dus het werd een lunch op het terras. Alles was fijn, niet zo druk dus kon prima bijkletsen met een vriendin. Lekkere lunch gehad wat ook top was! Zag er mooi uit en smaakte heerlijk. Veel bio of vegetarisch op het menu. dat is elders vaak anders. Maar ook de bediening is er echt top.

Mooie buitenlocatie, gezellige sfeer en prima lunch, gastvrij. Mensen met verstandelijke beperking zijn medewerkers in de bediening.

Kan geen beoordeling geven over het eten want de keuken was al gesloten toen we er aankwamen

Lovely place that serves only fresh products! The garden is marvelous! Although the menu is small and only in dutch I strongly recommend it True gezellig dutch experience.

Altijd weer een heerlijke plek voor een borrel op t terras of een heerlijke lunch. Leuke activiteiten ook!

Wanneer de zon schijnt, is dit één van de prettigste terrasjes van Eindhoven. Leuke kaart, enthousiast personeel en een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Top!

Heerlijk eten. Bediening helaas geen overzicht, duurde wat lang. Prachtige omgeving, ook erg leuk om de verse ingedienten en de bakkerij te zien.

Erg leuke plek. Mooie gelegenheid, ligt mooi. Fijne bediening en het lekkerste taart dat ik ooit op heb . # citroen meringue 👌

Prima prachtig en gastvrij! Alles verloopt hier rustig. Gemoedelijke sfeer.

Hele mooie plek om eens heen te gaan. Je kunt er brood kopen, gebakjes maar ook allerlei dingen op het terras bestellen. Het is heel leerzaam voor kinderen omdat ze een grote kas hebben met groente/kruiden met daarbij vriendelijke medewerkers die wat uitleggen over de gewassen.

Echt mooie plek om te lunchen of wat te drinken.
