A truly wonderful place with a stunning view of the sea and beach. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the people around add to the charm. The food and drinks are excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, the service leaves much to be desired. It would be great if the management could assign specific zones to staff, as waiting 30 minutes just to place a drink order is far too long. Ordering a second round was just as difficult — we had to wait for a server to notice us, which again took about 30 minutes. We also asked twice for napkins but never received them. The experience could be perfect with more attentive service, matching the high quality of the location and menu.

An absolutely wonderful food spot — the atmosphere is inviting, the service is warm, and every dish is full of flavour. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience

We had a fantastic afternoon at Branding Beachclub, Winter Lodge! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for relaxing with a view of the beach. We enjoyed the Spicy Salmon Roll and Burrata, and both dishes were excellent. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented and had a delicious spicy kick. The burrata was creamy and perfectly balanced with the accompanying ingredients. In addition, the service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended for a relaxing and tasty lunch. We will definitely come back!

Branding and the winter lodge look very beautiful and atmospheric. Yet it does feel a bit like a 'factory'. Very busy/all tables close together, a bit messy. Food is tasty, service very nice. The system where you are waiting with a reservation among people without a reservation is irritating.

A truly beautiful spot with a stunning view of the beach! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food we chose was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as great. I also noticed that other dishes ordered by other guests looked equally enticing. I highly recommend reserving a table, especially on busy days like Sundays, as it gets quite crowded. The only downside was that the tables were very close together, which made it feel a bit cramped. On the bright side, dogs are welcome here, which is a big plus for pet owners. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy good food, drinks, and views. Don’t miss it!

Great beach restaurant with very friendly staff. Direct sea view. The winter lodge has a good selection of dishes (pizza burratta and the bowl highly recommended), free water is served, very nice ambience and chilled music. Have eaten there several times and would love to come back

Despite a table reservation, we had to wait around 20 minutes until we were shown to a table. This was right next to a large hatch to the kitchen and therefore didn't have an appealing ambience. It was occasionally dripping from the ceiling and overall it was very tight. The starter (mixed starter platter) was good overall, just a little too cold. This was only cleared away after another 30 minutes. A main course was delivered completely incorrectly. Tournedos with Hasselback potatoes, asparagus and Bernaise sauce were ordered, but instead a dish that was not on the menu was served without comment. This consisted of another piece of meat, along with sweet potato wedges and chimichurri. When asked, the justification for this was that there was no more asparagus. However, this has no influence on the choice of meat, potato side dish and sauce. The service staff then announced a salad and the Hasselback potatoes that had originally been ordered, of which only the potatoes with grilled vegetables were delivered, both of poor quality and preparation.

Friendly staff, food is fine but terrible how grand it is set up. I really expected a nice restaurant, but the experience was completely ruined by the crowds. Food is also not served to the entire table at the same time. Well, the setup is nice, if it's not so massive.

Very nice, delicious food! The staff is also having a good time, which is nice to see! The only downside is that you cannot make reservations at all times, which is a shame and nowadays almost everyone makes reservations in advance during the weekend, right?

Very nice lunch. We were all satisfied with what we got except for the fries. I wouldn't recommend the fries, it seems like you get a small pile of garbage. Otherwise a nice tent.

Nice restaurant, I live nearby. Nice staff. A really nice place for people who don't live near the beach and who want good quality food. From me they get a 10/10 outside of the 5 stars.

Unfortunately, the design was much less attractive than last year, so the atmosphere did not feel like a winter lodge, which is a shame. Map less extensive than last year. Steak not tender. This year will be the last time for me, hopefully next year it will be the same as usual!

I recently had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff is incredibly hospitable and friendly, which immediately creates a warm atmosphere. We were here in November 2024. During this time, the Branding Beach Club becomes the winter lodge. The ambience was just great. You sit in a kind of greenhouse. Everything is full of green, real plants. When we came in there were already large bowls of winter spices on the counter, which immediately gave off a great smell. We had two dogs with us and first asked if it was okay (one of us always waited outside). Because the lodge was always well attended and there is an open kitchen. We wanted to be sure. The staff was very friendly and gave us a cool lounge spot on a sofa with a coffee table. We were also able to order drinks directly or take a look at the extensive drinks menu. We were there three days in a row and on two days the dogs were given water straight away, even though there was a lot going on. Other visitors with dogs were also warmly welcomed and their bowls were filled upon request. The cocktails are delicious, beautifully presented and at a fair price for this location. There is good music playing in the background. It wasn't too loud for us. It gave us a club feeling, but we were still able to have a good time. The menu changes between lunch and dinner. We ate both and there was nothing to complain about either. Super tasty, well prepared, good and unusual selection and also a reasonable price. By the way, the Lodge Fries are a blast. You have to eat it. The pizza is baked in a real pizza oven and you can see it through the open kitchen. In the evening, the waitress walked from table to table with a tray with a selection of desserts. She explained to us in English very nicely what was what. And again delicious and beautiful. There is free water from the carafe and popcorn. A nice attention. We never had to wait long for a waiter to see that our glasses were empty or were able to call someone over without any problem. Attentive, quick and friendly. You can pay in cash or easily with a card. Tipping can also be done digitally (not always possible in Germany). From what we could observe, every guest was treated equally well. It doesn't matter if he just drank a coffee or ate dinner. The toilet is unisex, stylish and clean. Although no one was sitting outside due to the weather, everything was nicely set up and there was a fire bowl burning. We were super satisfied and will 100% come back and recommend it 100%.

A restaurant of which there are very few in the Netherlands (on the coast), service a 10, atmosphere a 10, but above all the hospitality for a relatively large business is an 11. We will definitely come back.

We regularly come here with the whole family after an afternoon of apple picking. Friendly staff, delicious food, accessible prices and always a great atmosphere with a view of the sunset. Highly recommended.. Chris and family

For the second year in a row, we had lunch at the winter lodge during the winter. Cozy atmosphere with tasty dishes.

Winter delight Last Saturday (03/02/2024) we were here for a drink and a small snack after a lovely walk on the beach. Upon arrival we were greeted kindly by the ladies and then we were quickly taken to an available table. The first impression is busy, but very pleasant. The music is trendy, nice and not too loud, so you can keep talking to each other. The interior is great and you can tell that they have put a lot of effort into it. They also do a nice job by not only placing beautiful furniture, but also supplementing this with plants that greatly improve the atmosphere. A funny detail is the small disco ball on the toilet. Because we did not want to eat extensively, we opted for the Charcuterie board. This was well filled and perfect for 2 people. Our favorite of the meats was the freshly sliced ​​roast beef (they call it something different on the menu), which was delicious! A delight for the meat lover! We had ordered 2 glasses of Cava in advance, one of which was clearly not good. We indicated this and we quickly received a new glass. Well resolved, you would say, but the team went one step further by not including this glass on the bill at checkout. Great service! So we will come back here soon! Winter Lodge / De Branding is highly recommended!

Was here for the first time last Sunday. What a beautiful top tent. Lovely sat outside with the dog. Dogs are also allowed inside. But first let's soak up the rays of sunshine. Nice service, good food. And a beautiful terrace and so atmospheric inside. Big 10...keep it up. Greetings from Ede...

We can only recommend the Winter Lodge in Noordwijk. Just the walk to the restaurant creates a great ambience, which continues inside. Really nicely decorated. Service very nice. The food tastes really excellent. As everywhere in Holland, prices are more expensive than in Germany.

Wonderful restaurant right on the beach. Young, fast, extremely friendly service, good advice, delicious food, great ambience, an oasis behind glass when the weather is bad. Great value for money because everything is freshly prepared. Dog friendly.

What an atmosphere! What decoration! Which place ! When you arrive on the dune without knowing what to expect, the surprise is wow! Large black canopy on the dune with the expanse of the North Sea before your eyes, a large swing on the beach; then we enter, greeted by a spice and fruit bar, a roaring fireplace, green plants and wicker and raffia immediately giving the joyful and trendy bohemian-chic atmosphere! Placed very quickly while there are always people (so reservations required!!), original and tasty menu. The pizzas don't start until around 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Not to be missed in Zeeland! Worth the detour.

I had the opportunity to go in January, it is a perfectly designed place at the bottom of the sea with green (plants-trees) and brown tones with a bohemian ambience. If you are on the Amsterdam side and you are a tourist, transportation may seem far and a car is required. Our meal choice was hamburger, it was delicious. Thank you for the pleasant evening we had.

A cozy beach pavilion, attractively decorated with predominantly young, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Nice menu with small, tasty fresh dishes. Spacious outdoor terrace. If it is too cold to sit outside, reservations are recommended. Last Sunday (the last day of the Christmas holidays was one of those days) there was a line outside and it was quite full inside during lunch. We will definitely come back again 😉

During the winter, Winterlodge is the only beach bar in Noordwijk where dogs are welcome, we think this is a big plus. In addition, the pizzas are delicious and our favorite to order there. If you want to eat a pizza in Noordwijk, strangely enough, it is best to do this at the Winter Lodge instead of at one of the pizzerias on the boulevard. The service is very nice, it has a nice atmosphere and in addition to the pizzas, the other food, as well as the drinks, are very tasty. However, it can sometimes be a bit on the pricey side for how much food you actually get. It is nicely decorated, but not so unique, because you have 2 other sister beach bars in Noordwijk that look almost the same (Tulum & Witsand), the same goes for the menu. Still, as far as we're concerned, it's all very nice, and the food is good. The only thing that can happen is that you accidentally end up in someone's TikTok video or Instagram post, so be sure to wear a nice outfit ;)

Beautiful place, an experience even in winter. Cozy with a fireplace and fire, countless plants for that “jungle feeling” and decorations in warm tones. Simply a feel-good place! Plus points: dog friendly and there are vegetarian/vegan alternatives. And of course the top location right on the beach with a sea view.

A lovely winter evening spent here. I've only been here once before and this was the first time having a full meal, hence the review. The place is absolutely beautiful inside and the ambiance is incredible. The welcome was alright, not the friendliest but that's Dutch service in general so it wasn't an issue. We ordered a few starters and a few mains to try out as well as cocktails. The drinks were really nice and not a crazy price considering either. The food was absolutely incredible. I'd say the portions could be slightly bigger on the meat mains. The steak was of high quality but the sides to it were lacking a bit as well as the piece of meat itself not being too large. The pizzas are amazing and i'd suggest getting one as a side for the table even if you're ordering other mains. All in all i'd say the winter lodge is definitely up there as one of the top locations for winter. The food is amazing, maybe slightly over priced but you can take it a bit being that the restaurant itself is a joy to be in. Service could be slightly better but they are friendly enough to not take away from the overall experience. I will definitely be returning, if not for anything but the pizza!

Cute beach bar open in the winter. They have nice dishes also for vegetarians and enough options. The interior is really nice with a hippie vibe but with the music and people talking it sometimes gets quite noisy inside. Service is friendly and fast. I can particularly recommend the pita with falafel. They also have some nice drinks and cocktails. I’d say something for everyone’s taste

Heerlijke plek om te borrelen of te lunchen!

Deze week hadden wij een vriendinnen dag. We hadden van tevoren gereserveerd maar we waren wat later. We werden vriendelijk en snel geholpen. Er werd met ons mee gedacht omdat we met twee honden waren. We waren zo tevreden over de service! We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!

Leuke omgeving, kaart is niet heel uitgebreid maar prima. Service was echter ronduit slecht, voor elke keer dat we wat wouden bestellen moesten we zelf de aandacht opzoeken van iemand ondanks dat er 4 medewerkers bij de kassa stonden te kletsen en ik mijn hand omhoog hield en oogcontact maakte kwam er nog niemand langs. Vervolgens kwam het eten na lang gewacht te hebben en ontbrak er een gerecht en bijgerecht, ook hierna moesten wij weer vragen. Na nog eens 15 minuten te wachten kwam het op tafel maar niet zoals besteld dus weer terug moeten sturen. Na nog eens een kwartier eindelijk het goede gekregen en gelukkig van het huis. Zelfs een glaasje water miet je 2x om vragen zodat het na 10 minuten pas op tafel komt. Er is geen goede organisatie/taak verdeling.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön, nur fliegen manchmal kleine Vögel umher, was man natürlich mögen muss. Sonst alles prima!

Ein Restaurant direkt am Strand mit freiem Blick aufs Meer. Schon allein die Lage ist ein Besuch wert. Der Service ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir hatten das Mittags-Menü, was qualitativ hervorragend war. Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, hier stimmt alles.

This was always a nice restaurant, but now (it's March 11 and cold outside) we were not allowed to drink a coffee inside, only outside. It's March. There were tons of open tables. Quite unwelcoming. Luckily there are lots of beach places in Noordwijk that are hospitable.

Gezellig restaurant, altijd erg druk met een speciale menukaart. Erg lekker eten. Wel reserveren anders wordt het lastig. Zaten in een soort zeer sfeervolle serre.

Dank je wel voor de uitnodiging om een hapje te komen eten. We hebben erg genoten van het lekkere eten en de goede service! :)

Great place for a good time with friends and kids, but services is very slow!

Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und haben viel dafür gemacht, damit wir ohne Reservierung an einem vollen Sonntag doch noch einen Platz bekommen. Der Service war sehr gut und schnell. Das Ambiente war zum wohlfühlen und sehr schön mit den vielen Pflanzen. Sowohl die Getränke als auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Für uns hätte lediglich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Bezug auf die Portionen etwas besser sein können.

Wij vertrekken elk jaar met carnaval naar Noordwijk. Na een goede strandwandeling lunchen. En o Vaak ook dineren bij de Winter Lodge. Eten is altijd heerlijk. Onder genot van een goed biertje. Vriendelijk personeel en goede sfeervolle muziek en omgeving

Fantastische strandtent. Super gezellig, goed georganiseerd mbt toewijzing zitplekken. Ook wel noodzakelijk gezien de giga drukte daar. Ze staan op sommige momenten in een lange rij buiten om naar binnen te gaan. Ontzettend vriendelijk en attent personeel, een absoluut groot pluspunt! Eten, koffie en gebak van uitstekende kwaliteit!

This restaurant is fantastic! The food was delicious and unique - I felt that they take the quality of the ingredients very seriously. The variation of the meals available was also a huge positive as there were many options for many tastes. Additionally, the space is cozy even though it is slightly cramped when full. Overall, a lovely dining experience.
