Wong's Garden in Wijk 00

If you are wondering why no one goes to the Chinese anymore, this is the reason... Hair in the food.... Smell not okay... In the kitchen, white buckets of red sauce everywhere that look like they have been sitting there for a few weeks.

We had a delicious meal! The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. Everything was neatly taken care of and the staff was very friendly. Any leftovers were even neatly packed up for us, all separately. Truly superb service. We had a wonderful meal and will definitely come back here again. Highly recommended!

Delicious food. Friendly service.

Great food. Friendly service. Excellent value for money.

Super tasty dishes, they are very helpful, super nice and attentive service. Both takeaway and seating area.

Very dry satay. Overcooked. Babi pangang is like rope. The staff is really incredibly grumpy. I think they aren't allowed to make eye contact. Furthermore, it is a cold and chilly place. Not a spark of coziness.

Good and tasty food. Also beautifully presented on your plate. Very nice people.

Various dishes: do not distinguish themselves in taste. Portions are generous. Everything tastes bland and monotonous. Atmosphere dull. Service is less warm than expected.

We had babi ketjap; the meat was very dry and the ketjap sauce a bit thin. We also had chicken breast in black bean sauce; the sauce for that was also very thin and lacked flavor.

We have been ordering takeout here for years now. Pleasant atmosphere in the takeout area. Friendly staff and owner. And the food is tasty. If you are looking for Chinese food, you have come to the right place.

Perhaps we have the best Chinese in Westervoort

The food and service are top-notch again, as always!

This time I picked up the beef tenderloin rice noodles. It was good, but it could have used a bit more crunchy vegetables. It was tasty. I have also eaten in the restaurant with my partner before. The service, both for takeaway and takeout, is excellent, attentive, and dedicated. People should consider eating here instead of getting takeout.

We visit this restaurant very often. The owner is a cheerful, optimistic, and friendly lady who is a great hostess. In our opinion, she is a jack-of-all-trades. She is the hostess, runs the restaurant, and handles the takeaway in between. And she is almost always there (does she ever go on vacation at all?). The food comes in all shapes and sizes; the menu is MORE than extensive. Sometimes we don't know what to choose, there is so much on the menu. But when you do choose something, it is very tasty. And you get plenty; you leave the restaurant with a full stomach. Our preference is for the Tipang dishes, such as the duck breast. She even prepares part of it at the table by pouring the sauce onto a glowing hot plate... Just fun to watch... :-) We are going to celebrate a big birthday with many people soon. We are looking forward to another table full of delicious things. Gerard and Linda

Always super good experiences here. Food affordable & friendly owner. Chairs a bit dated, but service is always excellent.

Is there a new owner, or have they started cutting costs drastically? The nasi is more like white rice with a tiny bit of ham and leek mixed in. There is hardly any meat left in the spring rolls. It's a real shame. This was our favorite Chinese place for years 🙄

Drove all the way there. Turns out they are closed on Mondays. It would be nice to update the opening hours on Google Maps!

Cosy and nicely decorated, this Chinese restaurant has a very extensive menu. We had the So Ya Fang and Babi Pangang Wong's Garden. Both of them were very tasty, and the portion size was also big. Friendly staff and quick service.

We ate here with a large group, so we were able to make use of the buffet. It was incredibly delicious! The staff were friendly too.

I'd gotten a monthly menu there, and it was delicious, but when I got to the satay, it had a strange taste. Just after midnight, I woke up with a bad stomach ache and nausea. That night, I spent more time on the toilet and threw up than in bed. I didn't get out of bed until around 4 p.m. and lay down on the couch because I wasn't feeling well. The satay sauce wasn't good and gave me food poisoning. I won't be going back there after this experience, and I advise others against eating satay there.

Great local Chinese restaurant. It lacks atmosphere from the outside, but the interior makes up for it. The food and service are as expected. We'll definitely be back.

A restaurant with excellent quality products. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. Currently, only takeout is available, but I can definitely recommend this restaurant for a cozy evening after the coronavirus pandemic. Very friendly staff and an owner who truly cares about her customers.

The food was good, delicious, and plenty to fill us up. The service was very friendly and accommodating. A very nice evening. Thank you.

I always enjoy takeout. I think 38a is my favorite. Sometimes you really crave it. They're always friendly, and nine times out of ten, it tastes great.

I had an amazing experience at Wong’s Garden! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great Chinese food!

Five stars for service isn't enough. What a fantastic experience! And the food tastes delicious! 100% recommended!

Delicious Chinese food, beautifully presented and of good quality. There's atmospheric Chinese music playing, and the meatballs are fantastic (highly recommended!).

We picked up food twice. The food was very good and everything went perfectly. The service was fast and friendly.

We had a great meal here yesterday. We both had a combination menu with three types of meat. The meat was roasted very crispy, and the sauces were served separately. Everything was very delicious. The only downside: the seats of the chairs in the restaurant are at the end of their lifespan. The springiness of the foam has gone, and you're essentially sitting on a padded plank. But strangely enough, you get used to it quickly.

Food is fine, Only the staff very unfriendly, And what I read in other reviews I have also experienced The staff behind the takeaway (Blond girl) starts arguing with you and gives a big mouth in front of all the customers Very unprofessional! For us this was the last time Wong's Garden!

We regularly visit Wong's Garden in Westervoort Nice lady (owner I think) Delicious fresh food Plenty of space to sit You don't have any problems with take-away We will definitely come back 👍🏻

Delicious food, but at checkout it was difficult to pay separately, even if not asked first. Bills were also wrong, we had to figure it out ourselves later. The drinks are also very expensive, small bottle of Rivella €4 and coffee €4.50

Had a buffet with 22 colleagues. Lots of different, high-quality food, and reasonably priced. A very warm welcome and excellent service. Recommended!

Jammer.

The food is delicious and authentically Chinese. The dishes are full of flavor and well-prepared. We love to get takeout here and are never disappointed. Highly recommended for lovers of Chinese cuisine!

a nice restaurant with good service, very good food. good price-performance ratio

Cozy and nicely decorated restaurant. The menu is extensive and diverse. From noodles to fish dishes, there is something for everyone to choose from. During this visit I opted for the ti pan tenderloin with noodles. This was served while simmering and provided with sweet sauce on the spot. The jug remains on the table so that you can refill it yourself if necessary. The noodles were served separately in a tin can. The ti pan was a large portion and well filled, the ratio of vegetables and meat was also well distributed. It was a true taste sensation, very tasty. The tenderloin was tender and the sauce was supplemented with a few things that made it a bit spicier (not hot or spicy). My companions also had the ti pan but with pork tenderloin, they found the pork tenderloin a bit stiff but otherwise nothing to complain about. For dessert I opted for the Dameblande, which was supplemented with chocolate sparkling balls. A nice ending to very tasty food. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the service. Little interest from the waitress, not even asking if we liked it. And since she was not immediately present in the restaurant, I had to visit her (at the take-away point) to ask for some extra drinks and an extra portion of noodles. In addition, I missed music in the restaurant as an extra facility (a pity about the atmosphere) and the warm towels after the main course. The extra facilities may not be a big deal, but the service in general could have been a bit friendlier. Furthermore, a Chinese restaurant that is recommended for the very tasty food!

Good very Chinese restaurant. Delicious meals and not greasy.

Delicious pick-up meal, more than enough for 2 people. I cannot judge the atmosphere from the pick-up area. Great alternative to the Great Wall of China when it is closed.

My favorite Chinese in Westervoort. Reasonable prices and good quality

Very nice and good Chinese. Good food and you get a lot for your money. Highly recommended. People are also super friendly

Very nice restaurant. Nice service. Always nice to eat there

The better Chinese in the area.

Our favorite takeaway for years, head and shoulders above the "bagger" locations in the area Yes also here; sambal with 🤪 European Chinese and Indian, but also real Chinese dishes available, and a "special menu" every month

A good Chinese restaurant. vegetarian dishes taste delicious. Portion could be a little larger. That would be my reason for coming there regularly. Now I happened to be in the area...And I will report about portion sizes for takeaway!

Excellent Chinese takeaway. Nothing special.

Very tasty food, normal waiting time

An excellent restaurant since the new owners: delicious dishes (be sure to try the owner/chef's own chicken specialty!) really beautifully laid out plates and an owner who is the sunshine in the house! Recommended!

Staff very unfriendly! Think it's more important to look in the mirror than to serve the guests. Sighing that new guests are coming in. Had to wait 2 hours for a soup!

Very tasty. Friendly service. There is rush hour for pick up, so there is some waiting.

Delicious food for a reasonable price. We come there regularly and it's always good.

Incredibly delicious dinner for my 70th birthday with children, Ben and Wilbert.

Great and very tasty food. Friendly staff.

In connection with my 65th birthday, I had a delicious buffet with various dishes on Saturday evening with my wife, children and grandchildren. Delicious food with various types of dishes. Sweet spontaneous hostess and staff. There was even singing for me afterwards. Awesome.🙏 Highly recommended to go out for dinner together. For me the best in the area.

Food was amazingly good. Delicious food.

Vriendelijke eigenares.

Ons favoriete chinees restaurant Heerlijk eten zoveel gerechten Allemaal even lekker .
