Xava Bar Dancing in Wijk 01 Doetinchem Centrum

Terrible place. Been there before and it was already enough to make you cry. Yesterday, from at least 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the entire Grutstraat was allowed (read: forced) to enjoy their private party. The whole street was packed with diners, but Xava's blaring, forced music drowned out the entire street. It also got louder and louder, and a new record started every 30 seconds. I expect it was a private party hosted by the owner or something. There were some very "peculiar" crowd there too. They should be ashamed of themselves!

I think it's a nice place to dance, but it's ridiculous that too much is asked, every round becomes more expensive even though you order the same thing. Once I even paid 16.50 for 3 shots when I asked about it, I got my money back as if it was the most normal thing, I think it's a shame. If you want to earn tips like this, wait until customers are fed up and charge double prices

The bar is super fun. We can dance a lot. The biggest annoyance is that the staff "accidentally" charges different amounts for the same drinks every time. Yesterday, for example, we initially paid €6 for two sambucas, and then I got the same for €11. When I asked, she first said the sambuca was €3, and I said, "How can I pay that much?" Then she looked at the cash register and said, "Oh no, it's €5.50." They do this all the time... So be careful. Check what you're paying. It's a shame it has to be this way.

We were there yesterday. It wasn't busy, and yet they left a decent line outside. Why? People, including us, left because of that.

The club was overcrowded after midnight, and security didn't limit the number of people allowed in. Otherwise, it was a lot of fun beforehand.

If I want to hear half songs I'll go to Aspen Vallie in Arnhem!! A song for 30 seconds and then the next song, then you think, but it went from Christmas music to R&B to house to top 40 to '90. Every time you think good song, the next one comes!! VAT, the beer brand (moretti) is also good to drink. Better than what they serve in the other bars!! (Heineken and bavaria) I would say fire that DJ!! Hire one that can run normally!! Then 5 stars!!

Fantastische plek voor 25+ In mijn ogen was dit wat ontbrak in doetinchem en Xava vervult deze behoefte feilloos. Iets volwassener publiek en bijbehorend een zeer goede sfeer. Goede muziek, meer dan genoeg dansruimte en top personeel. Mij zien jullie vaker terug!
