The rice was dried out, the chicken was dried out, the fughai wasn't microwaved long enough, and half the dua was ice cold and half lukewarm to warm. You paid over €70 for it, including delivery. Absolutely outrageous. I'm still waiting for a call from the boss because I want my money back!

This isn't a review to downplay the company, but hopefully, criticism that will be addressed. We (my partner and I) went here for dinner because we were interested in the new concept. We had to create the atmosphere entirely ourselves, as the ambiance was lacking. The restaurant's decor is somber and cold. Not to mention the lack of background music. Upon entering, we were greeted by a young man who seemed eager to get to work. He politely asked if we had a reservation, which we did. He escorted us politely to our table and explained the concept. Then it came time to go and get our food. This was all straightforward and simple. The meat containers and various other dishes were marked with paper plates, each labeled with their contents. You could order other dishes, such as sushi, soup, and/or hot dishes, via the app on your phone. We've come to expect this from many restaurants, so it didn't bother us. All the sushi we ordered was not fresh at all. The sushi was cold and almost fell apart. The other fried dishes were greasy and felt like they were cooked in old grease. The meat you could grill on the BBQ at your table wasn't marinated and was therefore quite flavorless. There was a three-compartment container on your table with something that looked like marinade, but this didn't enhance the taste. The containers of meat also seemed to have been sitting there for quite a while, causing them to brown slightly. So you had to be careful to choose a container that looked somewhat healthy. I find this a real shame, considering you pay €46 per person. Hopefully, the owners will address this criticism, as I won't be returning anytime soon.

I've usually visited many sushi and barbecue restaurants, but unfortunately, this was one of my worst dining experiences ever. With this review, I hope the owner will seriously consider the quality and experience of this restaurant. The Food The concept of Korean BBQ combined with sushi sounds appealing, but the execution is disappointing. The meat, which you have to pick yourself, was unseasoned and tasteless. The accompanying sauces and spice mixes didn't compensate for this. Moreover, the meat seemed to have come from the freezer. The sushi was even more disappointing: the rice was dry, the combinations were unusual (such as sushi with melted cheese), and everything seemed to have been prepared well in advance and stored in containers. Freshness was completely lacking. The online menu, with its random pictures, also looked unprofessional and didn't inspire confidence. The Service Upon arrival, the explanation of the concept was haphazard and rushed. The staff seemed untrained and lacked hospitality. For example, each empty bowl was asked individually if it could be taken away, which was disruptive during our conversation. It was also noticeable that an employee was frequently on his phone. The owner was constantly walking around the restaurant checking on everything, which made the atmosphere more awkward than welcoming. The Atmosphere The interior looked gloomy and unkempt: black walls with peeling paint, visible damp patches on the ceiling, and no decoration whatsoever. There was no music playing, making the atmosphere cold and uncomfortable. Conclusion This restaurant currently doesn't offer a pleasant experience, neither in terms of food, service, or atmosphere. My intention isn't to criticize everything, but to make the owner aware that much needs to be improved. Without drastic changes, I don't see how this restaurant can survive long-term.

Extremely bad experience. Order placed at 5:45 PM with an estimated delivery time of 50–75 minutes. It wasn't delivered until around 8:25 PM – way too late. The app even said the food would be "delivered" at 6:17 PM, which is completely inaccurate. I tried calling the restaurant between 7:00 PM and 8:15 PM, but no one answered. When I finally got through, the employee barely spoke Dutch and told me only that a "system was broken." There was no prior notice about the enormous delay. The delivery driver eventually called from a mobile number, but took the wrong turn, and I had to drive to him myself. This makes the entire delivery service pointless. The delivery driver also barely spoke Dutch. And then the food itself: absolutely terrible. The cold dishes were warm by then, while the hot dishes were cold. To make matters worse, I also ended up with a stomach ache. In short: poor communication, misleading information in the app, extremely late delivery, terrible food, and ultimately even physical complaints. Absolutely unacceptable and not recommended.

A fantastic experience! The food was excellent, and we even got to try the hotpot concept earlier than expected. Highly recommended! The combination of ordering sushi via your phone and the hotpot cooking your meat, fish, or vegetables is ideal. Two and a half hours is more than enough. The owner is very friendly and helped us with all the explanations we needed. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back! Greetings from Belgium!

Zit je nog net even van je koffie te genieten, staat men aan je tafel. Over 5 minuten wegwezen... Nee, dat is niet correct. Kijk het eerst even aan, en begrijp dat mensen echt wel weten dat ze op tijd weggaan. En als je dan 30 minuten nodig hebt om een tafel klaar te maken voor de volgende ronde ga je er vanuit dat de mensen om 1900 uur met rijen dik allemaal staan te wachten... Right...

NEVER ORDER: Ordered at 4:00 PM, supposed to be delivered at 6:00 PM. I called at 6:25 PM, and they said the delivery driver was on his way with all the orders. At 7:30 PM, I called again, and they said they were on their way. They had already been on the road for almost an hour and a half in over 27 degrees Celsius and very humid. They told me over the phone that it was still good. At 7:50 PM, the delivery driver finally arrived. When I opened it, the cheese was brown and had discolored and smelled incredibly sour. The salad that was supposed to be cold was lukewarm. The fried banana had cooled down. I called again, and the restaurant said they couldn't do anything. They couldn't reorder because it was too large/expensive. And for me, that was €115, which we could have thrown away. And therefore, no food. I would have been mortified if I had accepted this quality as a company. I called the owner the next day and they offered a 20% discount or sent a €20 Tikkie, which isn't a solution. I definitely would not order from here.

Since the website indicated 30 minutes, I was told they were on their way. 45 minutes later, no food. Since this is the third time, I decided to get my money back. After some investigation at the bar and looking back and forth, it seems our order hadn't gone through. I want my money back, and they say you can't get it back through Thuisbezorg.nl. You have to call them. If you call, they say it's only for businesses and not for individuals. Okay, so we're going to get an email. I wonder if I'll get my 60 euros back. They don't have to count on me anymore at this restaurant, and if you ask about the management, they're obviously on vacation and you have to make do with the chef. So sad. There's no compensation or apology. They only say, "It's not our fault." Good luck!

We ordered through Thuisbezorgd, which says you can order from 12 noon on Sunday. We ordered at 3:30 PM and received our food at 5:30 PM because the restaurant wasn't open until 4:30 PM... it's good that they mentioned that. I ordered kibbeling (fried fish) and some mini frikandellen (fried croquettes), my boyfriend ordered Chinese food. Well, we only had food to eat, but that's about it. We both didn't like it that much. I ordered water with it, which was supposed to be half a liter, but it turned out to be a 250ml glass bottle... You pay €3 for the mini frikandellen, but you only get 4. Even at the cinema, you get more for that price. The kibbeling had no flavor, but it cost €8. We spent almost €47 including delivery! We won't be doing this again, which is a shame.

Tried the new concept.. The dishes on the menu were old. A bbq for 4 people is far too little. The service was ridiculous, often sitting with dirty dishes on the table. Service does not have to do anything so they were more concerned with each other than with the guest. Booked until 21:30 but at 21:00 they cleaned up and told us that it was almost 21:30. Paid €190 for a nice evening out which ended in disappointment in a dirty, uncleaned restaurant. Unfortunately!

The service is good, the ordering process is clear and easy. The service is friendly and smooth. I don't think it's a really atmospheric interior or location. But you create coziness together with your table companions. The food is great, really fresh and value for money. We had a good time and ate deliciously.

First of all, we had a pretty good meal. Service was just friendly. Drinks take a bit longer if you order them. But... There was a small leak from the roof from the rain. Fine, you can't do much about that. But there were people seriously splashing water under their tables. And apparently they were renovating and they continued to do so while people were eating. You just kept sticking to tables. And for the rest, it was a mess of new stuff everywhere. And everything was just a bit dirty. Great that you're going to renovate. But just close for a few days. Or do these things during the day when you don't have people in the store.

Good evening. I've ordered a poke bowl from here a few times before, it wasn't amazing but I could eat it + there's a nice promotion for it. It was this promotion that attracted me today, the offer was jaw-dropping, 2 for the price of one 😃 However, no one prepared me for the fact that this offer, the package includes waiting 2 hours for the order, staring out the window behind the courier, like a hungry pug with Down syndrome. When I finally couldn't stand it anymore and called, the lady was very shocked and said that there was an "error in the system". There was another almost 40 minutes of waiting, and I was already thinking about making some bread in the meantime, because I might not get it. No "sorry" whatsoever and apart from the fact that they didn't put that disgusting salad in my poke bowl, that's all. At least it was edible, although there was so much soy sauce as if the cat had cried 😃 I wish for more professional service on board and I greet you reluctantly.

Made a reservation for 4 people. We were seated at a table with only two plates. I had to ask for the ordering app to be activated myself. Then I had to walk back again because it was set to 3 people. I also had to ask for the promised free welcome cocktail. I ended up grabbing the plates from another empty table myself, including the soy sauce, etc. The food was brought to the table by a waiter in a tracksuit who didn't say anything but just threw it on the table. The food was okay, but not particularly flavorful. The portions were enormous, so you'd be completely full after ordering twice. No, they might be a bit cheaper than average through the social deal, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a restaurant I could give 5 stars.

Xin&Hao has gone downhill considerably. It's a shame for the young staff; they do their best, but there's no manager present to oversee things. Unfortunately, it was the last time we went; we've been before, and it was good then, and a stark difference from how it was now. Drinks took a very long time; we only received our drinks after 45 minutes. The rounds of food were mixed up, sometimes with a long gap, and much of what we ordered wasn't delivered. So, you weren't actually eating at the same time. The desserts were gone, the sushi couldn't be ordered halfway through, which is precisely what we came for, and the meat and snacks were subpar and fried to a hard consistency. The staff barely had time to clear the tables. It was very cold, and when we got home, our clothes smelled strongly of deep-frying/cooking. We also heard one customer after another complaining at the counter with the same issues. Such a shame!

Wij komen hier al jaren. Werd wel steeds wat minder, maar nu is het gewoon weg slecht. Het eten is bij lange na niet meer wat het is geweest. De bediening is ongeintresseerd en het eten wordt van een afstand op je tafeltje gegooid. Hygiene wordt ook niets aan gedaan. Als je naar het toilet bent geweest is je eetlust je gelijk vergaan. Toen wij er waren stonden er drie personeels leden in de keuken. De dame die de sushi verzorgde droeg geen hoofddeksel en 1 van de koks ook niet. Er is ook geen management aanwezig. Dus je kunt nergens je klacht kwijt. Nee voor ons geen Xin Hao meer

I placed an order for delivery at 7pm, but the food arrived after 8pm and it was incomplete. They refused to refund my money because the delivery guy said he delivered everything. I ordered 3 boxes of sushi, but only got 2. The problem was not only the money, but also the bad attitude of the employees in the store, who lied about the delivery. After I filed a complaint, they called me only 2 hours later. I am convinced that the delivery guy took the sushi home. I absolutely do not recommend this service and always advise to confirm your order to avoid problems with the delivery guy. SHAMEFUL SERVICE!

Just ate here, always liked coming here but tonight it was really really bad! I called for a reservation. Was told everything was full, but my girlfriend had apparently already made a reservation online. Arrived, hardly anyone was there, only young people walking around and didn't know what they were doing. Forgot to bring a complete order twice.. not a nice experience unfortunately…

Too bad, Xin & Hao. We used to enjoy coming here, but Gordon Ramsey wouldn't mind stopping by and sorting things out. What a disgrace you've become. We had to wait over an hour for just one Coke, as witnessed by several other customers who were also waiting for one beer. We got tired of waiting, so we left. Half the menu has been taken off in recent years, some things are only served later in the rounds (when you don't expect it anymore), and the ice cream, which comes straight out of a tub, took forever. It's a mess, lots of students who don't know what to do... we'll go to a reputable restaurant next time. Every euro here is one too many.

We arrived very early, and by then there were no more non-alcoholic cocktails; they were all gone. The food itself was good, but the atmosphere was less so, not cozy. Dessert was awful: one scoop of ice cream in a container the same size. Vanilla and mango were already gone. There were only three tables.

Vreselijk onhygiënisch,alles plakt,overal stofdraaden/ spinnerag,over de schuifpui en de kunstbloemen wat allemaal onder een laag bagger zit maar niet te spreken,walgelijk gewoon. Helft van het personeel is ontzettend pekkig,en zit onder de haren. De koks drinken halve liters bier!! Wat is dit restaurant vervallen met de jaren!!

Sorry but what a disgrace! I had to wait almost 1.5 hours for my order (on a Monday) but what a disappointment! Normally I always get sushi somewhere else and I have 38 pieces (100% full) in the same bowl as now 64 pieces were in (80% full). Sushi was very small (gnome size) The rice was very sticky and a lump of rice. It smelled a bit strange. With such a large bowl soy sauce was also too much to ask which is very normal at other sushi restaurants to get soy wasabi and chopsticks with it here you get nothing. First and last time ordered here

We eat here very often. The sushi is very good and fresh, the fish is very good when properly prepared. Delicious ice cream with green tea and sesame flavors... and bananas in the dough. Everything was tasty and aesthetically presented. I'd love to come back to this place😁

I was here today. I really enjoyed it. The food is very tasty. It was also cooked very quickly. I ate well. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is soothing. That I would improve? Only a toilet room. It needs improvement. In general, I really liked it.

I had a lovely meal. But the wait staff doesn't know what they are putting on the table. I asked a few times: what is this and the answer I got was something spicy. Or I don't know Furthermore, I find the place really lacking in atmosphere. And it always took a long time for the drinks to arrive.

I have no idea how you thought this was okay to have delivered, this is supposed to represent ebi tempura, in other words, fried shrimp in a crispy jacket, but it is 1 large squishy lump of fat with a few shrimp in it, whoever has this they have to fire them immediately, oh yes, you pay 12 euros for this, unfortunately you have lost a customer to me.

Restaurant was deserted at 8:45 PM (they close at 10:00 PM). When asked if I could still eat, the answer was "YET?!" Then I was allowed to eat while the floor was already being wiped clean and the staff was talking about their weekend. Got sick the next night but got half the price back (25 euros). Food was okay but don't go here if you expect really good sushi.

Great food, dishes are really delicious. It was quite busy but that didn't bother you. When the ordering site didn't work, it took a while before an employee could actually help us. Also a great restaurant for non-fish lovers, with the kangeroo recommended.

The food was fine but the service wasn't too good. It took a very long time (almost an hour) for the dishes from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds to arrive. During the 4th round (our desert) the ice cream arrived melted (and only after half an hour). Even when we asked why it took so long, she used a bad excuse such as: “the bowls are gone” or “we are busy” even though there were very few people there. We will not come here a second time

I have ordered a few times, each time much late. Not made yet, getting a bit tired of it. Eating there is fine, but it's better not to get takeout! And if you eat there, check your receipt carefully to see what you ordered. We received 2 drinks that we did not finish.

Het eten is prima. Sushi bevatten veel vis en weinig rijst, dit vond ik lekker. De kleine bijgerechtjes waren warm en op smaak. De bediening is erg chaotische, je moet lang wachten, delen van de gerechtjes en bestelde drankjes komen niet door. De sfeer in het restaurant is erg ongezellig. Het is jammer dat alle gerechtjes door elkaar geserveerd worden ipv per tafel. Zo zijn sommige tafel genoten aan het eten terwijl andere nog lang moeten wachten. De koffie is ronduit vies.

Heel erg lekker gegeten gister. Waren hier via de social deal. Bij de socialdeal specifiek zat er ook een welkomst cocktail bij. Zie foto. Heerlijke gerechtjes gegeten. 5 per ronde. Het was druk! Keuken en bediening moesten echt flink aanpoten. Soms was dit ook merkbaar, maar bleven correct en netjes.

As a former Hague resident/new Brabander, I've been searching for good bara (bara). This is the first place in the neighborhood I've tried. And I can tell you (as a bara expert), this place is truly delicious. I had Javanese chicken, chicken curry, shrimp long beans, and tcha chieuw. Somewhere in the reviews, they complain about not having enough shrimp. And you can fill a sandwich like this with cheap small prawns. But... you can also top it with good quality, large prawns, like they do here. Truly delicious. The chicken was very flavorful (it was completely soaked into the whole chicken pieces), and the chia sjieuw was also good. I got there around 5:30 and it wasn't busy. The staff was also friendly. I'll definitely come back here to try the roti. 👍

Voor de verjaardag van mijn dochter ging ik pizza’s afhalen. Voor 6 man loopt dat bedrag lekker op….. Mijn broer had een Calzone. Toen hij zijn pizza ver op had kwam hij iets tegen wat rokerig smaakte. Dit bleek een sigarettenfilter te zijn!!!! Dat is toch serieus ranzig!!! Ik heb gelijk gebeld. Kreeg wel een excuus en meneer vroeg of ik een nieuwe wilde NEE TUURLIJK NIET. En dat was het… Een “mevrouw mag ik uw telefoonnummer dan zoeken we het uit en bel ik u terug” was fijn en op zijn plaats geweest. Maar helaas. Gemiste kans en klant kwijt…..
