Had a mega delicious meal and really great value for money. Good portions and incredibly tasty. The waitress with the Nike shoes was incredibly hospitable and friendly. Definitely recommended 10/10!

Authentic Mexican food, very tasty with friendly and attentive service.

A familiar and trusted place for us. We had a lovely dinner here with our daughter's friend who was celebrating her birthday. The food, atmosphere, and service were top-notch. To sum it up in plain English: Quality time!

Top-notch experience! Upon entering, it seemed a bit small, but it turned out there were no fewer than three cozy rooms in the back with several tables, where the four of us were seated. The menu is clear and offers a delicious variety of food and drink options. The waitress who served us was very attentive and friendly on the one hand, but also very professional with an amazing memory and keen on additional requests. I personally chose the peanut soup, the burrito with salmon, shrimp, tuna, and vegetables, and the fried banana with coconut ice cream for dessert. In a word, delicious! Without wanting to detract from the other dishes, the caught banana alone was reason enough to want to return. I don't know what accompanied it, but it was magnificent. All in all, an experience that ranks high in my top ten of dining experiences.

4 stars, because it is relatively pricey. It is still manageable, but don't expect a cheap meal out. In that case, you'd be better off eating elsewhere. The food is good, fresh, and tasty. Plenty of food to fill you up. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommended.

Looking forward to a pleasant dinner at Yucatan, it was unfortunately a bit of a disappointment. Despite having reserved in advance, the table had to be vacated by 7:15 PM for other guests. Instead of a nice evening out at the Mexican restaurant, it felt rushed: finish your plate and move on. The main courses were good. The dessert, the churritos, was mostly whipped cream.

What a wonderful experience this was on Sint Jacobsstraat. We had a delicious meal here, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. Everything was incredibly fresh and prepared with great flavor. The bowl of crispy tortilla chips and the accompanying small bowls of salsa and guacamole were a particularly fantastic start to the meal. The plates with the main course and dessert also looked beautiful and well-presented. It was a top-notch evening. We will definitely be back here again.

A cute Mexican restaurant. Service with a smile. Large, satisfying portions and a reasonable price. The dishes we ate, a mixed burrito and a chicken breast dish, were very tasty. Not exactly an original Mexican flavor, but made in such a way that the result is pleasing to the palate. The atmosphere in the place is pleasant, the walls are decorated appropriately for the genre. All dishes have cheese or meat, but there is vegan cheese so there is also a solution for those who eat vegan.

Unfortunately, the service this time was incredibly grumpy and abrupt. This dampened the mood. It is such a shame because we had something to celebrate.

Before we went to the theater, we had to eat first. Yucatan! Table for four. I think it's been at least 20 years since I last went to Yucatan. A feast of recognition; my eye immediately fell on THE dish I always had back then. It didn't take much effort to convince the others to have it too. I was very hungry, so that was fine. Dessert wasn't necessary. Just rosy from the delicious food, off to the theater. We sang a line of the singers in the street: "Mexicooooo, the land of all my dreams!!!!" How nice it is that not everything changes in life and that you can still go to your old, familiar restaurant. Long live Yucatan, hurray, hurray, hurray!! See you soon.

What can I say? If you love Mexican food, I would definitely book a table here. The staff are super friendly too! That definitely adds to the atmosphere, and even the taste.

Uncomplicated, delicious Mexican food at a good price. The beef-filled dishes are my favorite. It's great to see the team having fun together, which reflects in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Restaurant is a bit dated but the food was good and plentiful. And the service still knew what everyone had ordered when they brought the food after an hour. That should also be said.

It smelled pleasantly of Frisian sausages, exactly what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The kebab tasted like kebab, meatballs too and the beer too. The waitress had <according to the smell> neatly washed her hair last week. The toilet was a bit on the small side for my 160kg. All in all an excellent welcome I think. Lovely to sit there and take a shit afterwards.

The interior may be outdated, but that does not make the atmosphere in the restaurant any less cozy. As an appetizer we shared the nachos with queso dip, salsa and guacamole. Unfortunately, the nachos were not warm, which made them less tasty. The queso dip was a bit grainy. The salsa and guac were fine. As a main course we shared the quesadillas with avocado and tomato and they were a bit bland. I missed flavor with both the quesadillas and the rice served alongside them. The dessert made up for some things: the churritos were nice and crunchy and the cinnamon ice cream was delicious.

The service was incredibly slow on a Wednesday evening. The food was nearly inedible and took near an hour to be brought to us. The margarita was miniature and sour. Lastly, it was extremely overpriced. I would never return.

The food is pretty much the same ingredients served in different forms, but it's all delicious. The burritos are huge! Good for two meals.

Ate here last night. Starters were a mix of everything and it was tasty. Really enjoyed it. The guacamole was very tasty. The child had a children's menu, a hamburger from the deep fryer, which was very disappointing. The main courses were 2 burritos, both of which we missed more. herbs/Mexican flavors. We also thought it was quite pricey at 26 Euro for a wrap with chicken fillet. We expected a little more.

My wife and I had dinner here on the recommendation of a colleague from Friesland. This is because we are on holiday in Friesland for 2 weeks. We really love Mexican and regularly go to Mexican restaurants. Because we come from Brabant, these restaurants are usually in our region, or certainly in the province. To be honest, I have to say that the Mexican restaurants we have had so far have been better than Yucatan. The food at Yucatan is tasty, but not spicy or very Mexican. It seems to be more for the general public. It was all a bit bland in taste. We were offered the homemade spicy sauce, but it also turned out not to be spicy. Shame. We had the 3-dish 'Platos Mexicanos' menu. With a taco, enchilada and quesidilla. All tasty, but nowhere great. Just fine. And that can also be said about the service, which occasionally forgot what we had ordered, but otherwise was fine. For example, I ordered a beer with my main course, which took a very long time to get to the table. After a while the waitress came to ask if everything was still to our liking. I asked how my beer was going, and she came with my beer a few minutes later. The atmosphere also falls into the same category. The restaurant has a Mexican atmosphere because of the partitions that serve as walls, on which walls are drawn. But the overall style seems very generic and is often better executed in other restaurants. As far as I'm concerned, there's more Mexican decor missing. In total we spent 75 euros for 2x the 3-course menu, 2 diet cokes (Pepsi) and 1 beer.

Lovely food that reminded me of the food I had in the US. The cocktails were delicious with fresh fruits. The waitress was very friendly and smiling.

If you want good Mexican food, this is the place for you. Extensive menu and large portions (fortunately you can take the leftovers home). Also plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. It is nicely decorated and the service was very good.

Good meal, very generous, only remark: the prices displayed in front of the entrance are around 5 euros lower than on the menu inside. An oversight?! That said, even for this price, the quantity-price ratio remains good.

I didn't think the food tasted Mexican, few Mexican spices and the price-quality ratio was poor. Service seemed rather clumsy; Just sayin, done with dinner, would you like some dessert? Don't come there anymore. Ac was an advantage.
