Zadelhoff Café in Museumkwartier

It takes a very long time before the order arrives. And the order is not complete. Never here again.

Staff doesn't pay attention. Cheap wine. For too many euros. Espresso is left to cool for 10 minutes.

Terrible service and very rude staff. We were waiting for a coffee 30 minutes and completely ignored by the waitress.

Considering that the kitchen in the cafe closes at 16:00, we had to wait half an hour for coffee and pie. Half an hour later I was informed that there was no pie... Absolute disrespect for the visitors.

Rude waiters, checks put right on the food, chipped dishes, food is not fresh.

Very slow service, at 3:45 PM you can only order sweet snacks. Savory is finished because it's closing, duh... not until 5:00 PM

Poor quality cake for 5.50. Sorry Stedelijk, but this price for such poor quality? Wouldn't you want people to come and eat a delicious cake while viewing art? Are you only concerned with making money?

Very rude staff, I wanted to sit for a while and have a look at the menu, when I told the waitress I didn't want to order yet she said she couldn't have me without an order. You pay money to get into the museum, I think you sould be able to sit down for a while without the need to order something.

We asked an Apple pie and a tiramisu pie, both were very good

Bitterballen, fish and chips, and whatever the bitterballen logs are made into a sandwich. We enjoyed it all. We'll be going back again when we return to Amsterdam in the summer of 2023.

My wife and I enjoyed a most delightful lunch here this afternoon. The waiter was helpful and considerate. My wife ordered a lentil soup and sandwich. He tactfully suggested that she might not need the sandwich as the portion is big and I might be able to share my gluten-free sandwich with her. He was absolutely correct. Attached is a picture of my gazpacho soup and sandwich. Both were flavorful and delicious.

Despite the bad reviews I enjoyed my meal here. Service was decent and food was tasty

25 minuten gezeten niet geholpen. Na wenken bediening werden we glazig aangekeken. Mensen na ons werden wel geholpen. Weg gegaan zonder bestelling

We hadden een heerlijk foccacia broodje! Verse ingrediënten, veel smaak in de olie en pesto. Voor dat broodje met paddestoelen en ham zou ik nog eens terug gaan naar het café. We werden snel bediend en uit de keuken kwam ons eten vlug naar tafel. De dame die de bestelling op nam moet nog wel even leren dat je ook de gasten moeten aankijken ipv enkel op je bestelapperatuur kijken.

Koffie is lekker. Maar de service is mega traag!!

Avoid if you can. Service is extremely slow and food overpriced. We waited 30 mins for a bowl of lukewarm soup and bread roll like a rock. When I asked for a new roll it never came.

Poor choice of food. Not bad coffee. Pricy. Cold atmosphere

Not friendly personal, expensive but not tasty cake

Het lijkt wel of je in communistisch Rusland bent, zo ongeïnteresseerd is het personeel. En dan betaal je je nog eens scheel ook.

Je kunt hier niet naar buiten kijken net als bij het restaurant op de begane grond maar wel even halt houden en onder het genot van een hapje/drankje even een tussenstop maken.

Goede plek om uit te rusten na je museumbezoek. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en we werden snel bediend.

Excelente café y brownie en la parte de la carpa exterior, que era tan genial como pudimos ver todos los museos justo detrás de nosotros.

Menú pequeño: sopa, bocadillos, croquetas. Será suficiente si tienes hambre. Amsterdam está llena de muchas otras posibilidades.

Der Mango-Shake hat sehr gut geschmeckt!

A nice place to sit down and digest the artistic impressions on the museum. We had an onion soup and cheese cake, as it should be, if not extraordinary.

Cant get a simple coffee to go. You have to sit down to order. Bad concept in my opinion.

I just had some great ravolis and a nice wit beer of the month.
