This is exactly what you want on a beautiful summer evening. Sitting by the water, overlooking the bridges, the water, the boats, and the city, with a glass of wine and delicious fresh fish dishes. It's like a vacation in your own city. Super hospitable, very friendly and warm service, some of which consists of enthusiastic locals. Their Instagram page shows daily opening hours, but only when the weather is nice.

Nice concept. Pop up restaurant. Shareholders from the area, to guarantee the right to exist. Tasty food, beautiful view and nice atmosphere. What more could you want?

Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Food is very tasty. Some of the dishes were somewhat mediocre in terms of price-quality ratio. But that didn't spoil the fun for us. Delicious food!

Food was very tasty although the portion size of the squid was a bit disappointing. Service was very friendly but a bit messy. For example, cutlery was forgotten and the table was not cleaned properly. However, this was resolved quickly on the spot after we reported it. Furthermore, the atmosphere and location were a solid 5/5. Finally, the price is on the expensive side. 6.5 for three slices of white bread with olive oil/tapenade is on the expensive side and the squid for 24 was not the most affordable meal either. All in all, the place is unique and the food tastes good, so we will definitely come back, just not every week.

Lovely relaxed setting on the river bank for a seasonal pop up fish restaurant, perfect for a summers evening dining, views breeze and evening sunshine. Menu not too overwhelming which allows for easy choices, food was simple and tasty. Staff were friendly, Enjoyed my meal and evening.

Superaardige snelle bediening, unieke plek aan het water. Zalige verse zeebaars met volop kleurrijke smaakvolle groenten op je bord. Dat zie je niet vaak meer! Aanrader!

Beautiful location on Noordereiland. Be on time to get a table before the crowds, then the service will be good and the flow will be smooth. As it became busier, we noticed that things were going wrong at the tables around us. The food is good. Don't agree with the reviews that say the portions are small. These quantities of fish and their quality are definitely worth the money. Our fish platter contained a number of mussels whose shells were empty. When we indicated this to the waiter, a full plate of mussels was immediately brought to us. Great service!

Friendly service and decent food.

Nice and beautiful terrace on the Maas on the Noordereiland. Definitely one of the top locations in Rotterdam. You can't make a reservation, but there is a relatively large amount of space, so it's definitely worth a gamble. The service is the friendliest and does everything they can to give you a wonderful evening. The food is good. The fruit de mere I had was well filled with shrimps and various types of shells.

Great location on/on the water. Very busy when the weather is nice because reservations are not possible. Then adjust the organization accordingly. The service and kitchen really couldn't cope. Shame

A la plancha has been our regular spot in the summer for years. Loyal to this concept every year thanks to the fresh products and the beautiful location. To our surprise this time it was very bad and disappointing. The quality has deteriorated considerably and the dishes were not fresh this time. We ordered a seafood mix in which the sea bream was half cooked and not cleaned properly. The rest of the seafood was covered in a layer of fried fish remains because the hob was not clean during the preparation of this dish, making it unedible...and unfortunately the service showed no understanding.

Nice atmosphere, it feels like you are on holiday, dining on the water at sunset or having a drink with the skylight of the center of Rotterdam. Great, highly recommended.

Very nice place, almost in the river and far from busy roads. Small oasis in the city with friendly service that exudes a very relaxed atmosphere even though it was completely full and there was even a line outside. The only downside is the food, it was undoubtedly good products but just missed a little attention that was needed. With a starter of mussels we had no fewer than 6 closed ones and 1 broken one and the main courses were just barely warm anymore. Still highly recommended, despite the crowds (which you hardly notice because of the space around you) and the food it is a very nice place.

Extremely nice restaurant in a great location! The food here is very tasty and very fresh. The service is very busy but still super friendly. Especially for the quality of the food and the location where you eat, everything is reasonably priced. In short, highly recommended!

The food was awful. Ceviche was nasty and the seafood platter was small and not tasty. The location is nice for a beer but after the sunset leave!!

Just go for the view and drinks. Food is BAD! Such a shame for a place with a nice location and vibe. The management should really consider replacing their menu and/or chef. -Ceviche: according to a peruvian in our group a disgrace to his country and ceviche in general. -Fish platter: bland, no taste -side dish: potatoe salad could of easily come from Albert Heijn

Fantastic location, best place in Rotterdam especially by the sunset. This time we tried it for lunch and we were warmly welcome by Hanna, a great smiling gentle host. She also advised her favorite dishes and wines and we were happy to have followed her suggestions. Unfortunately the place will close until next year. We look forward to taste Hanna’s food again and again. Anjiovis and Gambas much recommended! The only stain of a wonderful meal … the coffee. Not on the same quality level of the rest. P&R

Location is great. Beautiful view of the Rotterdam skyline. Staff are friendly. Just had a drink here. The home-made ice tea was very tasty. They don't have a very large menu and I think it's a changing menu of what's available. If you like fish you've come to the right place.

Delicious food on/on the water. It is a pop-up restaurant that only opens when the weather is nice. Very cozy and delicious food.

I was with you for the first time this week. My expectations were high and yet you exceeded my expectations! The dishes, service, price-quality, location, it was all right. Here you can experience Rotterdam and the Maas!

Great place and awesome view, but it pretty much ends there. Very overpriced, slow service (while it was not even busy) and the quality of food really disappointed. Overcooked and small portions. The most tasty dish we had was the starter of bread with dippings…

We had a delicious meal, the ray wing and the swordfish. As a side dish, a cowl's lettuce and potato salad. The food tasted good, the staff was very friendly. We felt that the price was disproportionate to the amount of food. The salad was a small portion and so was the fish. Unfortunately still hungry when we left. While these 2 dishes and a bottle of house wine cost us 75 euros for the two of us. Unfortunately, the small portions don't keep us coming back.. the location and friendliness do. But ultimately you come for the food. And in our opinion this was simply not enough.

Wunderschöne Location mit Blick auf die Skyline. Fisch ist superlecker. Die Beilagen könnten etwas mehr sein.

A La Plancha is een verborgen parel in Rotterdam. Een restaurant waar je heel de avond in de zon aan het water kunt zitten in de zomer, met enkel verse vis op het menu. De prijzen zijn redelijk, je kunt alleen niet reserveren. Een zomer in Rotterdam is niet compleet zonder een avondje A La Plancha!

Food is okay, but far from special. The fish platter is pretty sad in size and quality. Service is not that great. Mistakes here and there. The vibe and location is good, we had great weather and the spot is really good. Hope the can crank up their service, quality of food and portions.

Misschien wel het mooiste terras in Rotterdam. Eten was oké maar niet spectaculair. Bediening was weer wel top al moet je soms een beetje geduld opbrengen maar dat is met dit uitzicht geen straf. In ieder geval genoten van een prachtige avond

Vorig jaar er prima gegeten maar deze keer was het matig. We hadden om 13,15 gebeld of we terecht konden voor lunch en dat kon. We bestelden drankjes waaronder een fles wijn, toen we wilden bestellen bleek de keuken nog niet open. Deze ging pas over een half uur open. Het zou fijn geweest zijn als ze dit direct hadden gemeld bij ons telefonisch contact en of bij het bestellen van de drankjes. Nadat de keuken open ging hebben we nog ruim een uur gewacht op het eten. Wij hadden het visplateau , de vis was geen zeebaars zoals was gezegd, de gamba's hadden nog een vuil darmkanaal beide waren niet vers vers, het enige lekkere en mals was de inktvis. Er loopt veel bediening rond en dat naar elkaar verwijst als je wil bestellen. Qua service en eten gezien is het best prijzig. Al met al gaan wij niet snel nog een keer.

Go there for the view & the atmosphere of eating by the river. They try to deliver a good service but it's a pop up terrace so don't have high expectations. No wine glasses, my Greek salad was obviously what was left at the bottom of the bowl. Some of us had much better one. I had a fish and it was good, no frills just a plain grill fish. One of us had a beautiful plate of Schrimps but it looked better than it tasted! Same for the Piñacolada, only for the eyes, wat jammer! Limit your expectations and you'll be fine. They are friendly

Leuk terras direct aan het water. Een beperkte kaart maar uitstekende gegrillde vis en heerlijke oesters. Prettige bediening. Bij mooi weer echt een paar uur vakantie in eigen stad / land

Lokatie is best relax op het water. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kwaliteit van het eten is erg goed. Prijs kwantiteit is uit balans, echt te duur zowel eten ( veel te weinig) als drinken voor deze bedragen. Foutjes in de bediening zoals overal. Helaas bij thuiskomst drankjes op de bon die niet van ons waren. Deze zaak zit er al een poos en heeft zeker nog meer potentie, maar dit was niet echt een goede beurt en behoeft zeker verbetering.

Echt gaan zolang het kan!!! Superplek, super-vis!

Met zonnig weer een prachtige locatie. De kaart is beperkt maar het eten smaakte goed. Nadat wij al een tijdje zaten te wachten op het eten kwam het personeel naar ons toe met de opmerking " dat het briefje van de bestelling was weggewaaid " . Wij konden er wel om lachen en dit was ook wel geloofwaardig. Maar nadat mijn vader onlangs ook naar dit restaurant is geweest en ook bij hem - na een flinke vertraging - verteld werd dat de bestelling-opname was weggewaaid geloof ik er niet veel meer van. Wees gewoon eerlijk, met dit soort blijvende slappe excuses blijven de klanten straks gewoon weg.

Waren met grote groep verspreid, hier door was het soms lastig om je bestelde drinken en eten te krijgen. Er was aangeplakt dat er voldoende keus was voor vlees en vegetarisch en dan voornamelijk vis. Vis was geweldig rest was een wat mindere keus

De mooiste plek van Rotterdam om iets te eten. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding vind ik wat scheef, maar het eten is fantastisch. De porties zijn m.i. wat klein. De bediening is echt heel slecht. Twee dames die fantastisch werk doen (waar 2 was echt te weinig!) En een aantal - super vriendelijke, dat zeker meisjes die alleen maar eten en drinken mochten wegbrengen (je kent het wel:"mag ik bestellen?""nee, dan moet je bij mijn collega zijn." Die dan nooit komt.. ). Lang wachten op het eten, koffie die gebracht werd nadat het dessert al op was. Super Jammer!

De ambiance is geweldig, een ponton in de Maas en een uitbundige zon . Na een dagje zakelijke beslommeringen in Rotterdam ben je toe aan een lekker diner. A la Plancha was aanbevolen door de collega. Het was niet slecht zeker niet echter de porties waren was aan de kleine kant. Kijk de grote weizen bier was echt tot het maatstreepje gevuld maar de visjes op de schotel voor twee te klein te weinig. De inktvisringen beetje taai. Van een pop-up restaurant verwacht je juist op het bord een polonaise van voldoende lekkere visjes.

Toppie, toppie, toppie. Leuk teras met veel plaatsen en heerlijke vis gerechten. Niet alles loopt smooth, maar de aanhouder wint 👍🏻😀😎

beautiful location, horrible service. They just hire unmotivated students for summer and most likely give them 0 training. Result - all the evening constantly serving the wrong orders + spilled olive oil all over me. Not coming back.

Leuke tent. Heerlijk aan het water. Kaart is wat summier maar zeker heerlijke gerechten.

Geweldige locatie met uitzicht, super vriendelijk personeel! Prijs van het eten is behoorlijk. Toiletten in hokjes op de kade.

leuk shabby chique visrestaurant, wat vooral in de zomer echt genieten is. Vraag om een waterspuitbus als je het te warm krijgt daar in de zon ;)

A La Plancha…in 1 woord WAUW! Voor Deals op Zuid mocht ik dit restaurant reviewen en somehow heb ik het gevoel dat alle woorden te kort schieten als ik alleen al het uitzicht zou moeten omschrijven. De perfect ‘date spot’, alhoewel je er meer dan genoeg ander gezelschap ziet. Groepen vrienden , collega’s, die aan het genieten zijn van de geweldige ambiance onder het genot van een hapje, cocktails met leuk muziek op de achtergrond. Of je nu op het terras bent in de zomer of in A la Plancha aan wal,A la Plancha is een plek die je gewoon moet ervaren. Ze hebben een gevarieerde kaart en het restaurant wordt gerund door een nieuwe passievolle eigenaar die veelbelovende toekomstplannen heeft om A la Plancha nóg leuker te maken dan het al is. Het restaurant zit op het Noordereiland, en geeft je door haar sfeer daadwerkelijk even een vakantiegevoel. Je hebt bij A la Plancha niet alleen een leuke avond, maar het gevoel dat je écht even bent weggeweest. Vanaf hen locatie heb je uitzicht op een mooie skyline van Rotterdam. Hoewel het vooral bij de buurtbewoners bekend is, stuur ik vaak genoeg toeristen die kant op waneer ze vragen naar hotspots in Rotterdam. Na het eten, kun je er namelijk een prachtig stuk wandelen en adembenemende foto’s maken. Hou je van heerlijke tapas, visschotels en een romantisch uitzicht van Rotterdam? Visit dan zeker A La Plancha!

Wir haben hier ein Stop zum Trinken gemacht..wir waren Nachmittags die einzigen Gäste.daher schnelle Bedienung..alles Bestens!

Mooie plek, vis viel wat tegen, mag wat meer gekruid worden. Is dan toch wel wat te duur voor wat je krijgt.

Leuke locatie, super beleving. Eten was goed. Maar bediening was ongeïnteresseerd, niet vrolijk. Ze deden uiteraard hun best maar weinig personeel raakt iedereen.
