ABC Café in Wijk 02 Almere Stad

Lovely café with delicious food and very friendly staff. A relaxed place to wait during swimming lessons or to get some work done with the Wi-Fi. The new owner, Robin, is doing a great job; keep up the good work!

This week we held the New Year's reception at ABC Cafe with the diving club. It was a great atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere. We had delicious soup and then enjoyed a beer and a glass of wine. It was great to catch up! Great service. Keep up the good work, Robin!

My wife and kids bought food to eat. When my wife gave our 4 year old son his water bottle to drink, he was asked not to drink water which we got from home. This is ridiculous treatment for a kid. Very unfriendly staff, never again there.

Terribly poor service. We always order something to drink or eat. Because of Ramadan, I only got something for my child. The owner forced me to buy something or leave. We will NEVER set foot in there again!

My daughter and I were thrown out of the restaurant!! Very rude!!! During my son's swimming lesson, I wanted to sit in the restaurant with my daughter. I only wanted to order a drink for my daughter because I'm fasting myself. The woman serving us forced me to order something for myself or I would have to leave the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant, much to my daughter's disappointment. As you can imagine, her order didn't go through either, because I had to wait outside the restaurant. The woman even said that I was sitting in her seat without a drink, and that she didn't want that! Not customer-friendly. I'm always a paying customer, and outside of Ramadan, I always get something for myself. So, in the future, the restaurant will miss me as a paying customer, which is a real shame!!

Worst service ever! Very unfriendly. Never again.

For a year now, I've been sitting here every week while my child is swimming. Usually with a coffee and something to eat. When my mother-in-law sat next to me two weeks ago, she was asked within 30 seconds what she wanted to drink. She said she didn't need anything at the moment. Then I was told that one drink per person was required. The fact that I had already ordered three drinks didn't count. The fact that the seat next to me wouldn't be occupied otherwise didn't either. The incredibly unfriendly owner regularly causes arguments and fights with customers. I've never encountered such a rude restaurant. The other staff, however, are friendly and just do as they're told.

They are treating you like a prisoner rather than a guest. Watching every step you take. I opened a snack for my two year old and was told to put aside. Never seen this before. Sorry this are it restaurant rules. One think is to have mandatory consumption another is to police your guests.

Very rude staff. I brought cookies (not a piece of pizza or sandwich) for the child and ate one myself (eaten 2 small cookies in total) and then they immediately start talking very loudly and unfriendly. You can also say that in a friendly way. So 1 star from me because 0 is not possible.

Two years of checking in on your daughter once a week and always ordering something because it is mandatory. Now sent outside because you once didn't bring a debit card. Too scandalous for words.

We regularly come to the cozy ABC Café for a cup of coffee and apple pie or for a 'nice snack'. The service is always friendly, the croquettes perfect and their club sandwich is perhaps the best I have ever eaten! You can also come here with large groups (although a reservation is appreciated). And the children can indulge themselves in tasty treats in the 'candy corner'.
