We saw this restaurant highly praised on TikTok. It was a place I'd never been to, seen, or known before. My wife and I went for the first time, influenced by the positive reviews on TikTok. The restaurant was said to specialize in cag kebab, döner, and various other Turkish dishes. However, we deeply regretted going. I ordered cag kebab. Frankly, what I ate had nothing to do with real cag kebab. Neither the taste, nor the texture, nor the flavor resembled a real cag kebab. Moreover, the meat being cut so thickly has nothing to do with cag kebab. It was a complete disappointment for me. The side dishes were also far below my expectations. There was no yogurt; only a shepherd's salad, heated pita bread instead of lavash, a hot sauce, and a garlic sauce. I don't think these had any proper connection or relation to cag kebab either. The location might be nice, but in my opinion, the atmosphere wasn't particularly special or impressive. I think the business could be much more successful if it focused on the food it really excels at and its areas of strength. Personally, I wouldn't recommend eating here at all. There was a huge difference between the praise on TikTok and our experience.

We went there on a recommendation, but the cag kebab was dry, greasy, and burnt. The spice and salt shakers were dirty, and there was a strong odor in the place. Hygiene, service, and taste were terrible; I do not recommend it, don't go.

We ordered Cag kebab and meatballs. One side of the meatballs was burnt and very dry. The Cag kebab was the worst you'll ever eat, so be aware of that before you go. Because the meat was tough and full of gristle. The drinks were left on the table, but no straws or glasses were brought.

Ordered döner fries and a chicken döner sandwich. The fries were only half-cooked, the meat was thin and thickly sliced, and the bun was decent but didn't have much meat either.

They commented on my food, I wanted something knowing I could finish it and then that waiter said I couldn't.

Yesterday we visited Adana Grillroom in Venlo for the first time, and it was truly fantastic. Honestly, I am surprised by the somewhat negative reviews I am reading here, because our experience was actually incredibly good. Upon arrival, we were welcomed very warmly. The owner was incredibly hospitable, was very helpful, and because we actually wanted to sample a bit of everything, he suggested putting together a lovely mixed grill platter for us. That turned out to be an excellent choice. We were served delicious warm bread rolls with various sauces and fresh salads as starters. Afterward, a generous platter with perfectly grilled meat was brought to the table. The portion was so large that three people could easily share it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. We drove all the way from the Nijmegen area to Venlo specifically for this, and it was more than worth it. We had a delicious meal, excellent service, and incredibly friendly people. We will definitely be coming back here more often. Highly recommended!

It doesn't happen often that I get a stomach ache after eating, but this genuinely came close to food poisoning. 1 star is still too much; if you value your life, don't eat here!

We ate at the restaurant, the food was ready quickly, but unfortunately the kapsalon wasn't very tasty due to the soggy and soft fries.

The service, attention, and most importantly, the taste are superb 👍🏻 It's a place that makes you feel at home, not in a restaurant. And the warm tea is a bonus. Well done!

I went there on a friend's recommendation. First, I ordered soup, which was tripe soup, and I also had cag kebab. Honestly, there's no need to go to Erzurum anymore. The food is fantastic, the service is superb, and the place is very spacious. I recommend it to everyone. They have unlimited tea, including Turkish tea, which is wonderful after a meal.

The food was very disappointing and absolutely not what you would expect from this place. We had traveled a long distance specifically to eat here, so that only made the disappointment greater. Additionally, the staff was unfriendly and seemed to have no interest whatsoever in the guests. The service was slow and disorganized. Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience.

It's become much nicer after the renovation; it's a nice and spacious environment, and the food is delicious. I really liked it; it suits my taste perfectly. I recommend it.

Terrible. I ordered a large kapsalon. I got a regular one. I asked for yaprak, and I got regular... And incredibly little meat, and it was the wrong kind. Moreover, the kapsalon was as small as my phone. Extremely expensive for so little. Very disappointed. It was also very little. We drove 70 km specifically to eat Çağ kebab here, but were unfortunately very disappointed. The service was unfriendly and left much to be desired. When we wanted to take our food to go, they simply handed us boxes and we had to pack everything ourselves – that's completely unacceptable in our opinion. The Çağ kebab itself was far too dry and the meat had hardly any flavor. The long drive was absolutely not worth it. A real shame.

ordered two Durums and both of them were served completely cold. The person preparing them didn’t even ask if I wanted onions or not — he just added them automatically. When I asked “is that mine?” he said yes, and I told him I don’t eat onions. He ignored it and continued wrapping the sandwich like I said nothing. After waiting 2.5 hours for our food and trying to call 10 times (no answer), we finally got ours. The child had already fallen asleep, and no one was hungry anymore. I opened my container of food: the meat was black, the soup was cold, the fries were dry, cold, and tasteless, and the rice was crumbling from dryness. The meat tasted like a lump of charcoal, and I've never had such dry fries. It was so inedible that it went straight in the trash because even the dog wouldn't eat it. Absolutely not recommended!

I waited 2 hours for food while their own site said "delivery in 30 minutes". I was supposed to get updates about the status of the order via their own site which I did not get. I usually order directly so that a restaurant does not have to pay the big fees to Uber or Thuisbezorgd. After 1.5 hours I called 3 times. Three times no answer. Ordered Cag kebab but apparently they only had it at the end of the week, put that on your site when ordering! Received a doner kebab dish. The idea of ​​the doner was nice but the execution was bad. It is doner made from pieces of meat and therefore not from that pressed meat but the meat was way too salty, there were lumps in it, too many pieces of fat, too big chunks of meat and many edges were burnt. If you make your own doner fine but select what you do and do not put on the spit and test your spices on a small piece of meat before you ruin a whole block of meat. Also taste your own food regularly if you take yourself seriously. The fries were not mixed after adding herbs. There were only a few fries with paprika herb mix. The fries were limp and not cooked through. If you put fries in a bag, cook them through and they will not get soggy as quickly. The salad contained not fresh onions and overheated sheep cheese and little to no dressing. The red cabbage was too old. The sauces were not good. The garlic sauce is more like yoghurt but there is not a single piece of garlic or parsley or anything else in it. The taste is musty. The cocktail sauce was fine and I used it to cover up the not really tasty food. About 10 years ago I ordered here more often. Especially Adana kebab dishes. It was good to eat ten years ago but not anymore. Too bad. Do something with these tips, I worked in kitchens myself for years!

As a non-Turkish outsider you have to ask for bread and onion sauce, while this is offered as standard by your own people. For a mix dish with normal doner but shawarma you pay 5 euros more, but the doner is not included. Not a pleasant experience.

It was a friendly but cold environment, and unfortunately the food was the worst taste I have ever eaten in my life. We ordered Lahmacun, pizza and döner. I didn't think it could be this disgraceful because they didn't make it there themselves since the Lahmacun was ready. I ordered a durum veal and a döner sandwich. When paying, I found out that they also had lamb on a horizontal spit. I asked if I could get that in durum and the order was converted without any problems. The sandwich was filled with good döner and the lamb was particularly tasty. The salad inside was farm-fresh and there was enough space to eat in peace. Members of staff who had nothing to do with the order and who walked by to deliver an order all wished me a tasty meal.
