The bakery is delicious and very pretty 😋😋😍😋😋

Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with my experience. I found the hygiene inadequate and the way the elderly were treated disrespectful. It gave me the impression that the focus was more on money than on care, attention, and respect. I found that very regrettable and disappointing.

I love this bakery. I’ve been twice now and bought small pastries each time to have at home. They are so delicious and fresh. Some of the best pastries I have had. The lovely ladies are very polite as well. There’s a reason that every time I walk past, there’s always a customer inside. I’ll be back for more!

The best bakery in all of Oost, always busy for good reasons. They present a wide variety of eye-catching and tasty sweet stuff, as well as others like fish cakes and spinach and cheese boreks (I strongly recommend these) Great prices, friendly service always with a smile, and located in a very pleasant street to walk around. It opens early in the morning so ideal for those looking for an early breakfast snack or bread.

Because I wanted to eat truly fresh, luxury bread on Sunday instead of pre-baked bread from the supermarket, I picked up two baguettes this morning. They feel slightly crispy and very airy. They're also very soft white bread with a thin, crispy crust, which is fine if you like that. My son loves it, but I prefer a firmer baguette with a thicker crust. It wasn't the best day to try them, as the line was incredibly long due to Eid al-Adha.

Seeing such a line outside the store, I peeked inside and was struck by the puff pastry pastries. They all looked so delicious. I ordered one with apple, and after I'd finished it, I immediately went to get a few more. I also got one with walnuts and a palmier (a large heart in puff pastry), which tasted exactly like it did 30 years ago when I was a kid. Everything was super delicious and at a great price. I also got a small spelt baguette for 65 cents, which was also delicious. It was busy on a Saturday, but there were three or four of them ordering, and the service was quick and friendly. What a discovery! I'll be back next week.

A wonderful establishment! I truly enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The staff are very well-informed and speak Arabic, English, and Dutch. My absolute favorite item is the "Briwat" Mamamia 😋🤤!

The msemmen are so good, I don't know a better place. 🩷 very fresh, not too greasy and often still a bit warm. There is often a line, but the employees work quickly so you never have to wait long.

Disappointment... I often buy bread here, but recently for the 2nd time I found an animal in my bread. I find this very annoying and I simply no longer dare to eat bread without checking. Please increase hygiene a bit

I often get my baguettes here; it's best to avoid cakes on sale; they're not fresh. They still have a lot to learn about hygiene. The same gloves go into packing bread and at the checkout. Get rid of those gloves and just wash your hands.

I've been coming here for years and Bakery Afaker has the best msemen in Amsterdam East. Always friendly service, a clean store and affordable prices. Highly recommended!

Rude staff. Price-quality ratio is not quite right. High prices for very small portions. For example, bread is becoming smaller and smaller, while prices are going up.

Disgusting. Bought a pizza slice and threw it away, it was old and bad. Service was mediocre. Place is mediocre. I will not come back

Recently got sfenj and chicken briwat here. Sfenj was still nice and warm and soft and the chicken was nice and fresh.

Kom al jaren hier. Ik moet er zelfs een kwartier voor rijden, maar voor o.a. de lekkerste 7archa (vooral de volkoren) variant en de pan brood, doe ik dat heel graag. Super lieve en hard werkende meiden, tot gauw weer in cha Allah!

I bought a cake and it was too sweet with too much cream and taste wasn’t so fresh so I wouldn’t recommend for cakes
