Aim Aroy in Loven-Besterd

It looks like they have a new cook? I used to eat here very regularly. But the last 4 times, the food hasn't been seasoned properly. It used to be a real treat and so incredibly delicious. I sent people here from all over the Netherlands. It's really such a shame.

It tastes good at the Aimaroy Thai restaurant.

I used to rely on this place for great Thai takeaway in Tilburg, especially their vegan options, but things have changed. The opening hours have become unpredictable, and when I finally found them open, I was surprised to see a completely new (and obviously unskilled) staff. They seemed disorganized, communication was poor, and the wait was far longer than it ever used to be. The biggest disappointment was the food. The mostly authentic Thai flavors were gone; everything was bland, overly salty, and lacked any balance or spice. My partner and I even felt sick afterward. I won’t be returning and can no longer recommend this restaurant.

Good atmosphere and the food is REALLY tasty, ESPECIALLY BUBBLE TEA because that is my favorite, and really cheap too! 5-6 euros for a small bubble tea elsewhere, but here it's 4.50 and 5-5.50 euros for a large one!

For anyone who has ever been to Thailand, order here because the Thai food is truly amazing. I have ordered here several times before and thought it was time for a review. A truly top-notch restaurant!!!

Best Thai food in Tilburg. Once I've eaten here, the rest of the food tastes awful and tastes like it came from a Knorr package. Highly recommended.

Good quality, lots of vegetables!

Friendly staff Good food Affordable prices The ambiance could be better Music... why English-language Western music in a Thai restaurant? People who love Asia go to an Asian restaurant not just for the food, but also for the atmosphere. The experience (the imagination) is what counts. When I go to a Thai restaurant, I want to feel like I'm in Thailand, even though I'm in the Netherlands. That when I step inside, I experience a kind of micro-Thailand experience through the food, the Thai staff, the decor (furniture, paintings, etc.), but especially the music. That way, we escape the hustle and bustle of the Netherlands for a short time. It would make such a difference if the owner only played Thai music from now on. It would also be better for my psychological peace of mind, because it does cause quite a bit of confusion (cognitive dissonance) when I'm in a Thai restaurant in the Netherlands with American music playing in the background.

Not really Thai style fried rice. I ordered from app but they waited till I arrived to cook. Had to wait.

I thought, I'd have some delicious Thai food. Normally, I'd go to my favorite restaurant on Stratumseind in Eindhoven, but I wanted to try something different this time. So I called to say I'd be there in half an hour, which was no problem. She said she'd save a table. When I arrived exactly half an hour later, there were four guests smoking weed outside who might be taking up the last available seats. I was allowed to sit in the aisle, but that's not convenient when people with food, including takeout, have to walk past you all the time. Just sit down, I'm going to eat in Eindhoven. Much better. **Update after owner's response** This review is from sometime in 2023, so it's a bit older than Google indicated. I added a photo from Street View, and it was 100% definitely here. I was supposed to be seated on the left by the window when I entered, but the smokers were sitting there. Then I was seated on the right as you enter at a bar. And that was 100% definitely a passageway to the kitchen. And because it was quite narrow, they kept bumping into me. I went back to Spice-Up in Ehv, where they have a new location and are still, to this day – July 29, 2024 – the best Thai street food in the region. An additional update on the smokers. As described, they were smoking outside and then came in. So they weren't smoking inside, but outside. And the walkway was a spot directly to the right, towards the kitchen.

Regular customer! We always get the vegetarian and vegan dishes for take-out here and are never disappointed! The owners are also super friendly!

Asked for extra spicy, and delivered with gusto

This place perfectly captures the atmosphere of small, city-center restaurants. It's a haven and a refuge where you can relax and enjoy delicious, homemade European-Asian cuisine.

My boyfriend and I have been traveling to Tilburg regularly for two years now, specifically to eat here. The food is always delicious and made with love. The portions are generous, but it's so good you just want to keep eating. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy good, authentic Thai food.

A cozy little place where you can enjoy delicious food... they have plenty of choice for meat, vegetarians, and vegan eaters.

Really good food, we always come here when we come to Tilburg. Friendly owners and good food for reasonable price! Their bubble teas are also nice, and I recommend crab with yellow curry.

Great service and very nice food!

Order is suddenly canceled 10 minutes before delivery, without explanation. Outrageous service

Nice rice with shrimp, and really good service! The bubble tea is a little bit too sweet.

Received wrong order. In the end I couldn't eat any of it. Shame!

Nice place for a quick bite to eat. They have a nice selection of vegan dishes. Good service.

I ordered here on a day when they were closed, order just came through, food was delivered 3 days later (?) and they didn't refund the money. Enter into discussion with you instead of looking for a solution.

After a slightly disappointing evening at Gourmet Market Central Station, with no tasty bubble teas, we received a very tasty bubble tea here that was also served with a smile and nice humor. One of our friends even labeled the bubble as the best in the Netherlands, this friend is also known to us as the bubble tea connoisseur. This is because she drank bubble tea almost every day in Taiwan (the country of origin of bubble tea). This tent is highly recommended! Very tasty and really great service!

Super nice boba, the tastiest in all of Europe! Nice man, nice atmosphere, nice everything. Definitely recommended

Tastiest boba I've had in the Netherlands. Made by a very sweet man!

Really delicious food!! We had 3 different dishes and all 3 were very tasty. Highly recommended !!

bad food, not real Thai, too spicy and not made with real thai ingredients. Shrimps cut in half to make it look like there are more in the dish than really are.

Nothing Thai about this food, it looks more like a Surinamese who started a Thai restaurant. Taste very disappointing, especially very salty. Rice was regular white broken rice. Long beans and zucchini as vegetables with this green curry. Shrimp were not fried but halved and thrown on top. Very disappoint everything! No Thai basil or Thai vegetables. First and last time.

Delicious fresh food, accidentally received the wrong delivery and just called, this was kindly corrected and delivered. Delivery was also smooth later in the evening.

Nice people, hospitable and authentic!👌🏻 Good price-quality ratio..👍🏻

Enjoy ordering from Aim Aroy, always delivered quickly, often even within the specified time and the young man is always friendly. For us it is a punishment when the cook is on holiday (we are happy that she is back!) Food is delicious & very fresh! No complaints about Aim Aroy X from the ladies of Kimnl (solar plexus)

Fancy food and good service! I suggest!!

Such a great family run restaurant! The food is always delicious and the family that run it are always happy to welcome you in. Aim Aroy is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Tilburg

Mijn vingers erbij opgegeten. 🤣😂

Goede Bubble Tea en kost niet teveel

That taste remind me taste of my childhood 🔥🌶😍

Very good food, and nice drinks. Very friendly staff as well 😄 I ordered ped pat priew waan. The food my boyfriend ordered was supposed to be spicy because on the menu it had 2 chilipeppers indicated. But it was not spicy at all. But everything still was very delicious!

Helemaal top dus.

Placed an order with thuisbezorg.nl which was fine. The relationship between cost and product is poor, not good value for money at all, although tasty. 1 [Soepen] Tom yam koeng € 6,9 consisted of 3 prawns cut in half, the soup flavor was very good. 1 [Gerechten met garnalen] Koeng pat krapow € 15,95 contained 4 prawns also cut in half (lengthways) the rest of the dish was just beans (green beans) although the sauce was very good. I only ordered from here because the other Thai (Jasmine Thais Eetcafé) does not deliver. I should have have just got in the car and gone there.

Vorige week eten besteld.

Hier heerlijk eten gehaald. Voldoende VEGAN opties, zelfs heerlijk VEGAN ijs als toetje 🍧

Niet zo goed maar curry was okay

Ook vegetarische gerechten helemaal top! 👏

Jammyjammy

Best thai food I had in a loooong time The pad thai was even better than the ones they make in Thailand and I've been a few times. Great

Leuke zaak, gezellig, flinke porties

Best vriendelijk personeel . Best prijzig , ook gezond . Friendly greetings Bodi .
