Not authentic Thai food at all, lacking flavor, and the curry tasted like tomato broth with a few vegetables. Papaya salad was also completely off the mark, and I asked for extra spicy, but it was 0 spice.

Today I visited the city of Tilburg and had an early dinner at deli Jirawat , hidden in an alley , away from the main road . The interior is pretty bland and minimally decorated with neon lights . The dishes I ordered were standard Thai : Tom Yam kung , wich looked and tasted more like a Chinese tomato soup , the fishcookies were not fresh made and from the frozen stock , the chicken satay was standard fried in oil and the ones you get at your local takeout Chinese , and the maincourse was the well known green curry with chickenfilet wich lacked coconut milk and an good amount of chicken filet . In all a total let down regarding real traditional Thai food . Then the Thai deli in Gent , Belgium , I visited a day earlier was the better one of these two .

The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. The gentleman helped us explain everything before we could place our first order. We'll definitely be back!

The food is mediocre, nothing special, the place where the tables are placed is prone to constant wind/air currents and the wooden benches are completly lacking any form of confort. The service was attentive and nice.

We ordered 18:30 and at 20:30 you cancel our order. We waited for two hours. You waste our time we could order from somewhere else.

Pleasantly surprised!! We had takeout for the first time today because we spontaneously planned a surprise birthday party with a small group of friends. The 7 of us ordered 6 dishes, and there was still a small meal left for tomorrow, for the birthday boy. We ordered several dishes. The laab kai, Som Tam, and Pad krapao were my favorites, along with the green curry. I wasn't as impressed with the Chicken Siam (cashew); it could have had a bit more chicken, as could the stir-fried beef in oyster sauce. But the others really enjoyed it. You see, tastes differ. In hindsight, we should have ordered the Yam neua yung; we'd forgotten that's our friends' favorite. But we'll have to wait for that next time. The only two minor drawbacks were the long wait today. However, the owner let us know beforehand, and while enjoying a free drink, we weren't the faintest and were glad we took our time. And I'm a sucker for music. Nice music, Thai or otherwise, while waiting or eating at a restaurant enhances the atmosphere for me. We always drive north of the rivers for Thai food and other Asian eateries. So far, we haven't found a Thai restaurant in Brabant that we'd like to return to. Usually, the flavors are rather monotonous. Our favorite Thai restaurants are in Dordrecht, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. I dare say Tilburg shares third place with Rotterdam! Until next time!

Aanfluiting, online gele curry besteld en ik krijg rode. Hoewel die ook behoorlijk geel gekleutd was door de enorme hoeveelheid aardappelpartjes erin, héél erg Thai. Kogelbiefstuk? Mag je mij vertellen hoe je die zo taai krijgt. Oh wacht: taai, dat klinkt natuurlijk als thai. Zet dit maar op de kaart als aardappelschotel

Really good service, the man that was there was really kind and helpful. The portions are really good so sharing food is an option. I agree that the soup may have too much onions but still really good. I recommend this place :)

What a great meal! I have been looking for a good place for Thai food for years, and apparently always went a few doors too far. Now I know where I have to go from now on for good (and not too expensive) Thai food. The interior of the restaurant is not super fancy, but that gives it the authentic atmosphere where you would end up in Thailand itself. The dishes could be a bit spicier in taste, but that is actually my only point of improvement. Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention how incredibly nice and helpful the staff is. The service is really great!

Ordered from Jirawat for the third time. The first time I liked it, the second time I didn't. Today I ordered Phat Thai khai, Phat neua naman hoj with white rice and Chicken spring roll. It was delivered by car by a very friendly man. Food is fine, both chicken and steak were nice and tender. Spring rolls are crispy and well filled, but they have a certain smell that I don't like. I usually have that with non-fresh food. The rest was also well prepared, but the taste was bland. With Phat Thai khai I really missed that sweet/sour mild taste. And without peanuts on top and lime juice it is not complete. The portions are also large, but you can also order it for €17.50.

Delicious food for a reasonable price, ambiance is a bit on the level of a converted garage but is fine!

Leuke, nette indeling. Niet zo groot maar wel met een groot buitenterras.. Heerlijk authentiek eten.. Wij bestelden Tom yam en Tom kah en als hoofdgerecht groene curry en yam talay! Een echte aanrader! Komen zeker terug..heel goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding Beste Thai van Tilburg! 👌🏻

Vandaag voor het eerst Thais gegeten. Alles op de gok besteld. Erg fijn plaatjes bij het gerecht. Het was ook allemaal heerlijk heb er echt van genoten. Ook de service ben ik zeer tevreden over. Werd gebeld dat het wat later werd dan verwacht. Dat is voor het eerst.... En ook de bezorger was zeer vriendelijk. Tot de volgende keer Groetjes Chantal

Ik had de Tom yam kung soep en Phat Thai khai noodles besteld. Beide gerechten waren heel lekker. Goede porties, goede temperatuur, goede hoeveelheid. Echt aanraders en bovenal gewoon de beste in Tilburg voor Thais eten.

Het eten was goed en het was gezellig.

Lekker gegeten. Helaas wel witte rijst gekregen ipv nasi waarvoor 3 euro extra betaald

I really enjoyed the Tom Kha Khai soup but it would need a little less onion and more chicken 🥣 still very good tho! Phat pet khai was super tasty 🤤 And the delivery time was sooo fast!

het eten was niet lekker, erg flauw, het lijkt niet op Thais eten. We zijn dol op Thais eten, zijn ook vaak in Thailand geweest, maar zelden zo slecht gegeten. We hebben de soep Tom kha kai , de kip met cashewnoten en de biefstuk in oestersaus gegeten, alle drie zeer matig. We hebben het laten bezorgen.

Le Jirawat à Tilburg ne paie pas de mine et rappelle , par sa « deco » , certains « chicken cracra » ( mais excellent ! ) restos locaux de Bangkok. On attend un peu mais les plats ( pas piquants ! ) sont goûteux et copieux et peu onéreux pour la quantité. Ils goûtent le frais fait maison. Ce n’est pas marqué sur le menu ( du moins je ne l’ai pas vu ) mais la serveuse ( pas du tout thaï mais très sympa! ) nous a conseillé un set : entrée , plat principal et boisson pour 15 euros. Ce “petit” resto offre une belle terrasse agréable en été. Pour résumer : un petit bijou dépaysant où on mange bien et à sa faim.

Voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Er zaten heel veel krielaardappeltjes in de curry, massaman neua, en practisch geen groente. Ik heb al vaak Thais gegeten nog nooit zo. De pad Thai khai ging nog wel.

Gisteren via Thuisbezorgd Rode Curry met kip en Nasi Goreng besteld. Ik vond het heerlijk! Mijn broer ook. Bezorging was iets vroeger dan de aangegeven tijd. Helemaal top.

Heerlijk Thais eten. Schijn bedriegt, want als je er langs loopt en je ziet die grote hamburger buiten staan en al die plaatjes aan de muur, denk je niet dat je hier zo lekker Thais kunt eten. Je kunt ook online bestellen.

Ff hapje doen in Tilburg, keer wat anders

Eten daar is(als het weer meezit) alsof je in Thailand zit. Spartaans buiten en binnen zitten met veel Thaise locals. En als de Thaise mensen het eten lekker vinden.... Vers eten en veel keuze van pittig eten= top. Een aanrader!
