Fantastic. We settled in for a beer, were immediately invited for dinner, and before you know it, we're sitting at a long table with wonderful people, enjoying a home-cooked meal. What hospitality!

I had a meeting in Alkmaar all afternoon. I was lucky enough to have a parking spot right in front (paid parking). After my meeting in the late afternoon, I walked in. It looked cozy and welcoming. I was greeted and asked if I needed help. When I asked if I could have a drink in the sunshine around the corner, it was no problem at all. A table and chair were set up for me in the last bit of sunshine. What excellent service! I sat there as if I were on vacation. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I hope to see you again.

An excellent place to have a beer, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the attention of the workers is outstanding. I think it's great that they hung a drawing of mine in the bar. I leave Alkmaar with a very good impression of the people here😁😁

Alkmaars Koffiehuis is like coming home. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a pastry, and later in the day perhaps a drink, glass of wine, or beer with a hearty snack. The friendly team contributes to the homey atmosphere – a pleasant place to be!

Ended up here for the first time without knowing this nice shop. Games available that you can play. All kinds of nice, friendly people come there. People greet each other pleasantly! I live in the municipality of Alkmaar and will definitely go here more often for a nice cup of coffee or a drink or beer. Fun with friends! Wonderful no-nonsense place!

Beautiful historic building. While strolling through the market, the cheerful terrace attracted attention. Open the door and the feeling of a living room embraces you. A collection of fun and a little bit of everything. Books, the newspaper and games, everything is possible. Tables and cozy seating areas. Delicious croque madam. The nachos special was excellent. Filled layer by layer, that's how it should be! Very surprising beers on tap and even more in bottles. Very friendly staff.

Very popular, unfortunately we had to wait on the terrace until a table became available. This was easy to do with patio heating and good care of staff. Wide choice of all kinds of beer. Food tasted excellent in the cozy space.

Very tasty drinks and snacks! Unfortunately we had to leave early and I misjudged ordering nachos. Unfortunately I had to send these back to the kitchen due to the time, they handled this very well, luckily it was no problem at all, and they even took them off the bill!!!! I went to the "comedy night" by myself, just to enjoy the city even though I was alone. This was not appreciated by the staff, they gossiped about me because I was sitting at a four-person table? Instead of asking if I wanted to sit somewhere else? scandalous

Normally a very pleasant cafe, but it's a shame that the staff makes fun of you if you sit alone for a while.

It seemed like such a nice tent. Appearances are deceiving. It's a shame that you can only sit for 1 hour unless you order a new tasteless cappuccino. Definitely go here, maybe you can stay 5 minutes longer than us!!

We discovered the café by chance while strolling down a side street. It's a really great café with colorful furniture and lots of decorations to explore. The service is very friendly. There are many different types of beer, coffee, cakes and toasts at completely reasonable prices. The store also has a cupboard full of board games and pens to pass the time. The toilets are clean and tidy. You can sit both indoors and outdoors. We recommend.

I absolutely love this place! I would recommend it to both locals and tourists. Friendly staff, nice lunch options, good prices and a nice in- and outdoor seating area. Very cozy and light atmosphere. I specifically recommend their fresh ginger drink to anyone who loves a bit of a kick :) Edit, two months later: I went here with a group of 11 people for drinks, and we payed €51. Amazing place
