No restroom. Staff very arrogant. Cramped seating. Everything is disgusting. The pinsa has no flavor. The fries are fried in old grease.

We zaten binnen en het was binnen opvallend koud, soort wind. Buiten was het 22 graden maar ik eet liever binnen. We kregen ons eten en vroegen een andere tafel, we dachten eerst dat we onder een hard werkende airconditioning zaten. Toen zeiden ze dat het overal even koud was binnen vanwege een verbouwing. We hebben meer dan de helft laten staan, we konden gewoon niet eten, 20 minuten later gevlucht door deze temperatuur en blazende airconditioning binnen. Bij afrekenen eerlijk gezegd wat we ervan vonden toen ze vroegenof het bevallen was. Toen kwamen ze met het voorstel om buiten te gaan zitten. En toen zei ik. Als je bij binnenkomst eerlijk had gezegd dat we beter buiten konden gaan zitten dan had ik erover na kunnen denken. Nu heeft het geen zin meer. Serveerster haalt schouders op. Niet eens een tegemoetkoming in de prijs, op zijn minst had je de 2 frisdranken gratis kunnen geven. Stelletje chagrijnige medewerkers daar. Loop hard door. We zijn hier vaker geweest eten is ook niet lekker en personeel hooghartig

What a pathetic mess here! More than half the menu was already gone by 1:30 PM. As a result, some of our group went without food. The rest of us ordered "just that." But even the toasted sandwiches were terrible. A boiled egg on top and dry bread. What a mess. Just off to McDonald's for the rest of our group...

It was a terrible place. We arrived around lunchtime, and the table was quickly wiped down with a much-too-wet cloth. The waiter came to our table to tell us we could only have drinks because the kitchen was closing, and that it would take 15, 20 minutes, or maybe even longer, before we could order because they were too busy. We finally managed to order, but the fries weren't cooked properly and were cold.

Dirty, filthy chairs with stains. Dirty tables.

Several low tables had blue/green fabric chairs that were so filthy you didn't want to sit on them! One of the chairs had probably had an accident just before us and was wet. The chair also smelled of urine. No matter how friendly the staff may be, if your furniture is this dirty, you don't feel confident ordering food.

Staff no contact with each other. They said you can sit against the wall at the high table. Halfway through, let other staff sit there with other customers. Then we sat at the long table between other people. Just took the last bite, someone immediately came to clear the plates. Wasn't busy anymore! Felt rushed.

Worthless, kicked out before going home we thought we'd have a quick drink, you're not allowed in with your dog in a stroller, such a shame

The location is right in Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet. You can opt for a sunny spot or sit inside. The homemade ice tea is nice. The sandwiches are good and freshly prepared. The jasmine tea is with loose tea leaves rather than tea bags. This basic thing impressed us the most!!

A good experience with the Café. Friendly and helpful staff. Just priced and good food. The experience of serving tomato soup is highly recommended to try. The crispy croissant was delicious with the fresh fruit. The classic croque monsieur was well executed. The croquettes were good. Tea and coffee was good too. So if we are in the area we will definitely go there again.

Chilly atmosphere. Operation takes a very long time and there is no structure or guidance at all. The food was so disappointing. Very nice place with good space. The service was excellent, polite, helpful and willing to help us with our choices. Good wine and beer list. The dishes are well seasoned and delicious. I recommend.

Have been before and had a great experience. However, today the opposite happened. We wanted to sit at a table inside, which was still dirty from the previous guests. Asked at the bar if a cloth could be wiped over it. Received a very curt answer, almost biting: 'We are very busy. You can sit somewhere else.' Then looks are thrown: very unpleasant! Then someone comes to clean the table with a thunderous face and couldn't say a nice word. After this we decided to spend our business with the neighbors. Busyness is understandable, but the hospitality could really be a lot better. In short: if you want to be received as a guest, DO NOT sit at this café.

One of the worst foods i ever eaten in my whole life. Carpaccio salad was so tasteless no dressing just plain letuce. Never again

Good evening, we were here this afternoon, the food was cold and the lettuce had aphids in it, the bread was not fresh and there was a hair on the croquette sandwich. I also thought the hamburger was certainly not worth €14.95, it was not very cold and not really. tasty

We regularly visit Batavia city and this was the 2nd time we sat outside...the following: You have to shout or hold your arm up to place the order. They stand around chatting among themselves and hardly come. Tables are dirty, I asked would you clean the table??? Oh yes!!! Made it wet 🙈 The paving of the terrace is more than dirty... Chairs and the sofa have a lot of bird droppings on them. Customer friendliness from afar. Never come there again.. Today July 30, 2024

The weather was nice, so we sat outside on the terrace. Do you think even 1 waiter came by to take the order? There were 4 waiters and three of the four were hanging around the bar doing nothing. Logically it takes a long time. When the waiters are busy, I want to keep quiet. But sitting around and doing nothing while customers are waiting is not okay. We left again.

The service wasn't great. Chaotic and it took a very long time before the drinks were served and the 2nd order (food) was taken. We had to ask ourselves whether the 2nd order could be taken. The food was ok. Had chicken satay with fries. It came with atjar with lettuce. The atjar was a bit dry and the lettuce without any dressing or something like that. We all left them behind.

STAY AWAY! Where to start. Dramatic? Horrible? Bizarre? Gross and dirty? You enter. Floor so dirty that a family of rats could live on it for 100 years. Dirty stains in the chair and upholstery. Tables are not taken away. Not even when you sit down. Staff doesn't look nice. Super alternative clothing style. Uncared for, clothes not ironed and not smelling fresh. (And that for a fashion city) (There were at least 2 very good ones that really had experience and looked neat) At first glance I thought that this was a kind of lunchroom where people who were behind had a place to work. This may sound unfriendly. It's not meant that way. The people who work here, with the exception of 2 people, are of a dramatically low level that it is impossible to describe. Ordered coffee and food. I drank the coffee and canceled dinner. As the area was too dirty to be. 1 of the 2 people handled this very neatly. This wasn't the first time they had heard of something like this either. In fact, she wasn't even surprised. She did find it very annoying. Naturally, to confirm my suspicions, I looked at the reviews, and unfortunately my suspicions were immediately confirmed. People stay away from here. It's been a huge mess for 3+ years. There were a lot of staff walking around who did nothing, while we were put at a dirty table that was not cleared and we waited for 20 minutes while 3 tables after us were already being helped. So we left. It wasn't busy, but that had a reason.

Drinks were served very quickly. The cappuccino was delicious. But we also wanted to eat. The waitress did not come to us for a long time, then she brought the menus and everything. You didn't seem to know. We waited at least 30 minutes and then we didn't wait at all. We left. I won't go there again.

It took a very long time before someone came with the menus, then we had to wait 10 minutes to order, then we had to wait 20 minutes for drinks, the latte was wrong, we had to wait 20 minutes for the latte to arrive. While everyone was already ready... This is really bad, and it's not even busy.

We took tomato soup, eggs Benedict and veggie spaghetti bolognese - all tasted delicious! Fast and pleasant service. Totally recommend.

Great for a quick lunch between shopping. Croque madame isn't much. 2 slices of bread on top of each other on a cutting board, no vegetables or mayonnaise added. So expensive

Heerlijke koffie met 3 kleine lekkernijen. Echt een aanrader! Gezellig bij de (nep) openhaard gezeten. De inrichting is erg mooi met gedeeltes waar je je thuis voelt. Een lekkere bank, stoffen stoelen, erg gezellig. Bediening was super! Ondanks de drukte toch snel bediend en supervriendelijk. Top!

Erg onbeschofte bediening ik zei dat ik het jammer vond dat we niet buiten konden zitten en toen zei ze dat ik vast een Duitse kaart wilde, omdat ze vond dat ik haar verkeerd had aangesproken, en dat het een grapje was. Raar. en toen ik het tegen de manager wilde zeggen zei hij dat ik het verkeerd begrepen had

It was quite busy when we arrived, we had to wait a while (you were welcomed very nicely) because the place needed to be cleaned. Once we ordered the coffee we actually regretted it. The sparrows almost flew at you, they just sit on the table, very unhygienic. The service didn't look very happy either. After paying, the service doesn't look at you and couldn't say "Have a nice day". It looked nice, but not again for us, too bad!

Delicious food, very friendly staff. We will definitely go here again when we go shopping here.

I skip with thoughts. The food croque monsieur was tasty. The mint tea was delicious. The birds are funny to say, but then you also see the stains on the couch and hope it doesn't get into your food. It varies who you serve and whether this person is nice or curt. Overall satisfied and will definitely go back, but there are areas for improvement here and there.

Tijdens ons bezoek op een rustige dag verliep alles prima. We dronken koffie met gebak. Er is een ruime keuze aan gebak en koffie. De cafe speciale was niet zo heel speciaal. Kwam neer op een latte met siroop en spuitbus slagroom. Als je een keer knippert met je ogen is de slagroom al ingestort. De cheesecake daarentegen was erg lekker, deze kwam met een heerlijke crumble en een vruchtensaus. De zaak heeft verder een moderne uitstraling en zag er netjes uit. De bediening was attent en alles kwam snel door.

Super vriendelijk personeel, alleen maar goede mensen om te kijken

As non Dutch speaking, We asked if a dish is a toast . they said yes. we ordered one toast from gluten free bread, and one regular . the GF arrived as a pile of tomato's and cheese , and a bagged GF bun, still a bit frozen. the regular, a slice of bread with some Pasto and a pile of Tommatos and cheese. no toast ... we were in a hurru, so didn't complain there.

Vorig jaar hier heerlijk geluncht, dus reden genoeg om vandaag weer terug te gaan. Snelle bediening, mooie zitplek, vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten.

Heerlijk ice tea met een gebakje gegeten. Helaas kon ik niet buiten zitten want het was vol. Een goed teken voor mij! Ik zag heerlijke gerechten voorbij komen maar hield het bij mijn gebakje. Kom graag terug voor een lekker broodje of ander gerecht. Bediening was perfect! Snel, vriendelijk en duidelijk. De sfeer vindt ik erg gezellig en mooi ingericht..

Lekker gegeten. Jammer dat de airco heel hard stond waardoor het te koud is om echt gezellig te tafelen. Ook een aantal gerechten die ´op ´waren, zoals een kinderspaghetti (wat me nochtans een basisgerecht lijkt). Vriendelijk personeel

Toen we binnenkwamen zagen we dat de reviews niet denderend waren. Er zou niet schoongemaakt worden. Het eten zou lang op zich wachten. Hier heeft Ame Fashion Cafe op gereageerd. Ze beloofden het beter te gaan doen in de toekomst en hebben hun excuses aangeboden voor hun negatieve ervaring. Nou! Ze maken schoon en het eten wordt snel opgeleverd. Supér 🌟! Er was ook iemand die geklaagd had vanwege te weinig brood bij de kroketten. Ik heb 2 grote sneden brood gekregen! Ame Fashion Cafe komt hun belofte na en onze eer ervaring was écht dik in orde! Koel, leuke muziek, vriendelijk personeel, schone restaurant, snel en lekker eten. Dan verdien de je maximale score! Chapeau Ame Fashion Cafe.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, ik wilde mijn gerecht iets anders als op de kaart en dat was geen probleem (nu vraag ik dat ook niet als het bomvol zit). Het eten was erg vers en heerlijk. Was heerlijk even bijkomen. Aanrader!

Lekker hapje eten na het shoppen, het eten was goed en het personeel erg vriendelijk. We werden super leuk geholpen door Bart! Complimenten!

Overdreven populaire ontvangst. Als je met 2 personen aankomt hoef je niet te vragen of je met z'n tweeën bent. Een goedemiddag ipv hallo volstaat. Muziek is niet om aan te horen en staat veel te hard. Een cappuccino is echt heel iets anders dan een lauwe bak room. Een droge bonk sla als garnering bij de kroketten op brood kan beter achterwege gelaten worden. Verder vriendelijke bediening hoor. Maar ik denk dat we het bij deze ene keer laten.

Bij binnenkomst moest men zelf schoonmaken want het meubulair is gewoon smerig en vol vlekken. De cappuccino die mijn vrouw bestelde zat veel teveel melk in en de koffie die ik had was erg slap. Tevens zeker 20 min moeten wachten op de bestelling. Geen aanrader dus en zeker niet voor dat geld.

Het was erg lekker! De kroketten op brood gehad, een water en een thee. Heerlijk! Nu nog een vraag, hoe heet dat heerlijke koekje die bij de thee zat?

Enige tijd geleden hier geluncht op een doordeweekse dag en het was rustig. Wij hadden een vriendelijke jonge dame aan tafel die enigszins geïnteresseerd was. De lunch was okay. Al had ik enige tijd geleden een betere ervaring op het terras qua beleving, zelfs toen het gewoon druk was met wachtrij.

Wir mussten etwas warten, bis ein Tisch frei wurde, das hat sich aber gelohnt. Das Essen war total lecker und die Bedienungen sehr nett. Nur der Preis - vor allem für die Größe der Portionen - viel zu hoch.

Normaal bekijken we eerst altijd reviews en deze keer niet. Eigen schuld dus dat het eten enorm tegen viel. We hadden de borrelplank waar alleen de bitterballen lekker van waren. De rest was slecht. De jasmijn thee was wel lekker. Leuk zaakje/terras voor een drankje.

Leuk tentje. De stoelen hebben wel veel vlekken. Een lichte kleur is niet handig voor je interieur. De prijzen zijn erg hoog. Maar jah dat is het altijd op zulke plekken. Eten en koffie waren goed. De wijnen waren echt niet lekker. 6,00 voor een merlot dat gewoon niet lekker is vind ik echt zonde. Ook de huiswijn rosé smaakt naar een goedkope wijn. Dit was erg jammer.

Lekker even naar bataviastad en lunchen in het fashion café. Eten is lekker. Ik had brood met kroketten. Het was wat je ervan verwachten mag. Service is snel en erg vriendelijk. Ik zeg een dikke aanrader

Het heeft heel lang geduurd voor we een keer koffie konden krijgen. Waren bijna in staat om weg te gaan. Menukaart aan de prijzige kant. Bv croissant met aardbeijam 4,10. Appelgebak bijna 5 euro, ect. Als je binnen komt moet je wachten tot het lint door het personeel wordt open gemaakt om ergens te mogen zitten. Op veel tafels nog afwas van de vorige gast

Even lekker bijkomen tijdens het shoppen

Eten was prima en stond redelijk snel op tafel. Bediening had totaal geen oog voor de gasten. Vieze tafels werden te langzaam uitgehaald waardoor veel gasten aan een vieze tafel moesten plaatsnemen. Bij binnenkomst en aan tafel werd niet gegroet door de bediening. Drankjes duurde erg lang terwijl de zaak niet eens half vol zat. Mooie zaak maar het personeel verpest het.

Wij hebben vandaag lekker gegeten, oesterzwammen kroketten met brood, patat en cappuccino. Met de cappuccino krijg je een zacht koekje of iets wat erop lijkt maar dat is al een heerlijkheid op zich!! Je kunt hier lekker buiten zitten en de bediening is vriendelijk en vlot. Ik zag op de menu kaart dat er verscheidene gerechten vegetarisch alsook vegang zijn.

Leuk restaurantje om even te zitten na een dagje shoppen! De ruimte is erg licht en gezellig ingericht en het eten is erg lekker. Ik had een tosti en mijn partner had een broodje krokket (beide geproefd en erg lekker, enorm goede kwaliteit). De tosti is goed gevuld en je zit er zeker vol van. Ook hadden we 2 verse munt thee waarbij je een heerlijk hapje krijgt. Dus zeker een aanrader! Toevoeging: Ik lees nu de vorige reviews en ik vind dat niet helemaal eerlijk. Dus ik benadruk nog een keer: het eten is echt enorm goed en zeker niet karig. Je moet mischien ietjes langer wachten omdat het allemaal vers bereid wordt! Ik zou zeggen probeer het uit en schrijf zelf ook een review :)

Food was decent nothing dpecial, the cutlery was dirty as hell.

Gezellig restaurant met vriendelijk personeel. Je wordt snel geholpen! Eten was ook lekker. Groot minpunt vind ik dat de prijzen wat aan de hoge kant zijn, terwijl de porties echt wel karig zijn. Als de prijzen lager zouden zijn of de porties groter, zou ik wel 5 sterren geven.
