We stopped at Anne&Max for a quick breakfast and had a great experience. I ordered Max’s Breakfast, which came with a fresh croissant, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and quark with Anne&Max granola and fruit - everything was fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and the place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a nice spot to start your day in Amsterdam!

There are so clearly marked vegan options, the location was very convenient to me, the service was over the top, the prices were reasonable, their deserts & sandwiches are so good and their matcha and coffee are great.

Lovely café/restaurant! We were there around lunchtime and tried many delicious items from the menu. Very attentive staff with quick service. It's especially nice to sit outside when the sun is shining.

The girls who work there are lovely. I always enjoy coming there with my son. The drinks are delicious, whether it's coffee or tea.

Expensive sandwiches. With a thin laywer in between. Tasteless white bread. Costs around 16 euro. Very dissapointing

The food was so so good, nice healthy whole foods and the staff were lovely. We ordered the max’s breakfast and an eggcellent start. Definitely recommend.

Hi! I was here last week and after spilling my coffee at the next shop I walked back to buy a new one. I then got it for free, which I thought was really nice, because I didn't even drop the coffee in their store. Plus, it was my own fault. Furthermore, the food and coffee here are super tasty and you can work well at the long table. It is a bit busy on weekends, so I recommend the latter especially during the week.

Thought the food was mediocre for what you paid. In addition, I wanted to sit in a quiet corner to work on my laptop, I was not allowed to do this there and I had to go to the “laptop section” where it was so busy.

Açai bowl was tasteless, had to wait until someone walked by again but it seemed as if that was not done on purpose. Waited half an hour for someone to come and finally walked to the cash register myself and was not asked if everything was satisfactory. But the payment was made and when payment had already been made, we said oh well, you have already paid so we cannot do anything for you. Had 2 receipts for a free coffee but the receipts are expired

Situated in a very quiet place, lovely coffees. Pastries taste fresh. Recommend the cold brew 😋

I ordered a club chicken, the bottom slice of bread contained 1 slice of chicken fillet with a dollop of arugula lettuce. The curry sauce was way too much, the bread became soggy from the sauce. There were also no chips, I asked if I could get those tasty vegetable chips, they had been replaced by regular chips. You pay €14.50 for a sandwich, 1 slice of chicken fillet, no chips and plenty of sauce. A real shame, I always liked coming to Anne & Max, but I think this is a money grab. I'll post a photo of how you now get the club for €14.50 and how wonderful the club always looked.

Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, the servers are very friendly and we were served very quickly. Fairly consistent dishes and quality ingredients.

We had a wonderful breakfast for three people in a fantastic setting. The food was excellent and the service was first class. The cozy atmosphere and the large terrace made us feel completely comfortable. The music was particularly nice and went perfectly with the relaxed morning. An additional highlight was the opportunity to buy beautiful souvenirs. Overall, an outstanding experience that we would happily recommend!

We had breakfast for 3 people. There was really something for everyone, the orange juice was very tasty. The matcha latte was also very good. Friendly service. Nothing to complain about.

Just a nice little eatery close to the depot in Amsterdam. Very hospitable staff, who actually welcome you. And also for a somewhat normal price.

A super cozy restaurant with friendly and fast service. We ordered a whole breakfast (17 euros per person), which we enjoyed immensely. We certainly had enough with it. We will definitely come here again!

Cosy spot in a nice location. Good lunch offers, also for vegans and vegetarians, and the tea and coffee is great as well. Half of the cafe may be used as a work or study spot, half of the cafe is laptop free.

A great, relaxed place for morning coffee and breakfast. I enjoyed a large latte and the eggxellent breakfast of scrambled eggs with two brightly colored toast, one with pea spread, the with tomato spread. It tasted as delightful as it looks. Very filling.

I ordered a vegan club sandwich and a lemon cake. The vegan club sandwich was not good at all - the tofu was tasteless and the vegan bacon was the worst vegan bacon I have ever tried. The lemon cake was tasty but too sweet. Besides, the location is not that nice, there are other places in Oud-West with a much nicer vibe. Lastly, it's quite expensive. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place.
