I immediately felt at home in this cozy café. The wooden floors, vintage lamps, and comfortable chairs gave the space a warm atmosphere. The staff greeted me enthusiastically and kindly took my order. I opted for a fresh smoothie and a slice of banana bread, and both were delicious. The flavors were fresh and natural, without being overly sweet. The music was pleasantly loud, and the atmosphere was relaxed. People were chatting or reading quietly, which created a nice vibe. The service was fast and attentive. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality. This café is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a cozy atmosphere and good food.

I had a delicious meal here last Thursday. The young waiter who served me was extremely professional (despite his age), always making fun of me and making everyone else laugh. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely recommend the mixed grill. I'll definitely be back!

I think this is a real hidden gem in Hoofddorp! I hadn't heard of the restaurant before, but it's definitely worth a visit. I often dine out at different restaurants, but this one is definitely one of my favorites now. The food is delicious, the service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. In short: highly recommended!

That waiter was really awful; he dumped all the cutlery on the table, and we had to divide it ourselves. The food was good, but the service ruined it.

We had a delicious Lebanese meal at Restaurant Arabesque in Hoofddorp. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant; the waiter was chatty and enjoyed a joke, which I really appreciated. The outdoor terrace could use some improvement. The young waiter who greeted us was still young and learning, but he clearly put in the effort. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing meal!

Always a treat to eat here! The restaurant has a very atmospheric setting. The owners are very hospitable, and the food is delicious.

The most important restaurant I visited in Holland, with great flavor, taste, staff, and service.

The restaurant is very good. It is the restaurant I like the most in Holland so far. It resembles the restaurants of the beautiful Syria, which has a mixture of all the sects of Syria. Whoever understands, nothing works except for Abboudi Awad to sing. You feel like you are in Al-Karm Restaurant in Mashta Al-Helou.

One of my favorite restaurants in the region (and I'm from The Hague!). Lebanese-Syrian cuisine and everything is right in this restaurant: the dishes are incredibly tasty, it is a well-organized restaurant and all the staff is cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful. My favorites are the mezzes 'shaundar bl lahma' (pulled meat in beetroot), 'tarator dej' (pulled chicken in tahini) and 'hummus bl lahme' (stewed meat on a bed of hummus). But definitely try the shared dining 'Mezze Damascus' if you want to try a lot of mezzes, including top dishes such as their borek and phenomenal grilled chicken wings. And my number 1 dessert is kunefe (or kanafe). You just have to try it to understand it. In short: Arabesque is an absolute must for lovers of Middle Eastern cuisine.

3/10 The tables are small and too close to each other, so you end up looking at your neighbor's plate while he's staring at yours. The waiter was unfriendly to us for some reason. The cocktail was aggressively sour - I thought it should have contained sugar syrup, but it didn’t. The potatoes were so painfully spicy, they should’ve come with a medical warning. The kebab had some surprises as well - hard bits that felt like chewing gravel. The waiting time for two dishes was 50 minutes. And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, the men's restroom offered a final touch: no water to flush and a rather unpleasant visual souvenir left by the previous guest. Pork medallions were good though.

The service at Arabesque is genuinely lovely, warm, patient, and accommodating. Presentation is also on point, with dishes arriving thoughtfully plated. Unfortunately, the food itself doesn’t match the same care. My chicken was noticeably burnt, and the hot peppers, every single one, were charred past the point of flavor. The baba ganoush leaned far too sour, and what the menu described as “rice with vegetables” turned out to be plain rice with two lonely slices of bell pepper. It all felt rushed, as if the kitchen was focused more on speed than precision. A hospitable team and good presentation can go a long way, but they don’t make up for the lack of balance and attention in the cooking. Arabesque has potential, but it needs to slow down and refine.

Fantastic, always fantastic here! Besides delicious food, it is also beautiful. The atmosphere inside, the decor, super friendly people. You just want to eat here once.

Incredibly delicious food last Sunday, February 23. It was so delicious that we will go again soon :) What top chefs and lovely, friendly hosts.

Everything was TOP, it was just too busy, so orders took too long to be delivered, but I will definitely come back here again!

We didn't make a reservation and luckily they had a table for us. Later we found that it was full. We should have come in not much later, but that's besides the point. The evening, the company of Nasreen, the conversations and the FOOD was, in a word, great. The food was really good, plenty of choice of vegetarian dishes. I eat fish every now and then and had salmon. I forgot to indicate that I wanted the rosé until done. It was really well and tasty seasoned and grilled. I also had rice, which was also delicious. Only men serve and we were served well. One of the waiters jokingly said to his colleague, they are family, so treat them well. We lacked nothing.

What surprising dishes! Very tasty!

Today, the 13th of Feb. 2025 I dined at Arabesque with my mothere. We decided on the shared menu with 2 salads, 6 cold Mezze and 4 warm Mezze. I will start off with the fact that I had wanted to eat here for a long while, so my expectations were quite high. They were easily and massively exceeded. The service was friendly and informal. The food however, oh the food.... the food was spectacular. The cold Mezze especially were an exciting discovery of different flavours and spices. My absolute favourite was the stewed beef with beets. It was sublime. I left feeling full, so the portion size was perfect. The salads were good and palate cleansing. My only disappointment was the fact that the recipe of the beef dish would not be shared. If you are in the area, or even if you aren't, and are in the mood for Mediterranean food, I can't recommend Arabesque enough. 11/10.

Food was great, atmosphere was great and staff was great. Only the fries and rice were very little.

We originally came to this restaurant thinking it was a bar where we could have a beer with friends. To our surprise, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we truly appreciated that they let us hang out and took us with a light-hearted attitude. They were so kind and welcoming! One of the waitstaff even brought us a side dish on their own initiative, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The waiter also invited us for a cigarette, and we had a lovely chat with him. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and the visit was truly enjoyable. Next time, I’ll definitely come back to try their food!

Surprise and mix together deliciously.

This attractive and neatly decorated restaurant is a catering asset to Hoofddorp. Friendly, attentive and smooth service. The food is delicious. Surprising and tasty dishes from the Middle East. We ordered the Damascus menu, very tasty and more than enough for two people. We will definitely come back again.

Excellent lebanese food. We have been here five times over the years and the quality remains top notch. We always go for the mezze.

Arabesque surprised us very positively. Before our flight we wanted to eat something good and felt like meat. An inconspicuous shop that is very nice on the inside - reservations can make sense. The service is quite good - the food was really good. We had the meat platter and everything was super good! For €30 it's definitely not a little, but you get really high quality. The rice was very juicy and seasoned perfectly! There is no drinks menu but beer from that for €4.50 is fair. I recommend the store

Food was decent. The service was slow. I ordered lamb rack but it was raw in the middle they offered to remake but it took too much time to bring the first one and I didnt had more time to wait. I will probably never visit again. maybe it was not for me.

Syrian cuisine is truly a taste wonder, you should definitely eat here, it's amazing!

Good atmosphere and fast service

Delicious food to share, which also makes it fun to do together. It's a shame that there are few toilets for such a large business. Your clothes will also smell like the baking smells in the restaurant.

Delicious food, fantastic friendly service, good time between dishes. The matching white wine, les gourmets blanc 2022, was recommended and was a good choice. Baklava (freshly made, we were told) was served with coffee and tea. The baklava was on the house. That was a really wonderful ending ❤️ Keep in mind that your clothes will smell like food. But… we will definitely be back.

Today we had dinner at the Arabsque restaurant. We have never eaten such deliciously seasoned and tender meat in our lives. It was a 3 hour drive for us but really worth it! I recommend everyone to eat here! Also top service and Arabic atmosphere.

The food was great! Very nice service. There was way too much time between starter and main course (two tables that came in after our starter were already eating dessert when we had yet to receive our main course). Comfort of the chairs and the size and space around the tables leave something to be desired. Nevertheless, a very pleasant experience and we will definitely come back.

Great experience (for the fourth time!): a wonderful variation of mezze's: cold, warm, sweet, spicy, with or without meat. As a part of the menu (starter, mezze's, grill meat, dessert) this was more than enough. Also enough variation for vegetarians! Sahteen!

Craving oriental cuisine. Visited the Arabesque on a rainy Tuesday evening. Nice atmosphere, medium crowd, open kitchen. Boss served and advised personally. Tried many of the hot entrees. Typical Syrian original cuisine. Authentic, delicate, tasteful. No chichi, almost perfect food at normal prices. Highly recommended.

We ate here last night, never again!!! The food was very tasty, yes We spent over €180 for 5 adults and just couldn't get enough. The reason for this is that they saved a lot on the fries/rice. We were supposed to share a small bowl with several people and, according to their statement, he would fill it up again when it was empty. Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that !

Amazing Lebanese food, service, ambience and portion size of the dishes. We ordered the Mezza Demascus for 2, and were more than just full. The plethora of flavors with nice and succulent kebabs kept our soul asking for more. Couldn’t try the desserts, Will definitely visit again.
