We used to go to Gi..., but since the reopening, it's been impossible. Asaka is now by far the best. Super fresh, simply delicious.

The food was delicious, but the rules were a bit vague. The waiter told us we could choose 5 dishes per person per round, but it turned out we could only choose 4 (28 for 7 people), which caused some frustration. We asked about this but didn't get a clear answer. It turned out there were dishes that counted as 2, but we still had a limit of 28. Drinks also appeared to be part of this limit, which hadn't been communicated. The limits are fine, but this was incorrect and insufficiently communicated by the staff.

The food is delicious. You can order using the tablet. The food is served quickly despite the crowds today. The staff is friendly. It's affordable. Early in the week, they're even cheaper. Lovely background music. Spacious restaurant. Very welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

We came across this restaurant by chance after a day in the city... we went in and were immediately welcomed! We immediately made a reservation for that evening at 18:30 due to circumstances we finally arrived at 19:00 but that was no problem. The service, the food and the atmosphere are all 5 stars really enjoyed the whole picture. We definitely recommend Asaka to everyone! Had the best time at this restaurant! The food was fantastic & I was very pleased with the service. The food was brought to us within a couple minutes so we didn’t have to wait at all. The desert corner had a lot of choices & was enjoyed very much! Would definitely come here again

It was very cozy, cozy atmosphere, upon entering you are immediately helped and taken to the table. There you get an iPad and then you can order 10 dishes every 10 minutes

I went to Asaka for the first time today because I wanted to try a different restaurant, the food was good, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is good. Paid 82 euros for 2 people including non-alcoholic drinks, for this you can sit for 2.5 hours and order a maximum of 10 rounds, the choice is more than huge, but I thought it was a shame that you have to wait 10 minutes before you can order again and drinks also count as a round so I sometimes had to wait a while before I could order drinks. Asaka is a very good restaurant, but I personally think the food at Blue Sakura is just a little bit tastier. Asaka thanks for the nice evening ❤️!

I was here for the first time and I had a party to celebrate. The entourage looks nice, quick service (they regularly come to your tables to clean up or bring food and drinks), the food is delicious. Especially the steaks and potato croquettes. The garlic shrimps and a few other dishes were generously sprinkled with salt, which was a shame and less tasty. Some desserts were not very sweet. But overall a delicious meal.

To our shock, we discovered a nail in one of our dishes. This is not only completely unacceptable, but it also poses a serious health risk and violates basic food safety regulations. We expected your team to handle the situation with the gravity it deserves. Instead, we were offered only a 10% discount, which we found to be an entirely inadequate response to such a dangerous and alarming oversight. We urge you to take this matter seriously, investigate how this could have happened, and provide an appropriate response. We also expect to hear what measures will be taken to prevent this from ever happening again.

We have always been very enthusiastic about Asaka, one of our favorites in Enschede. However, the quality of our last orders was quite disappointing. The salmon sashimi, for example, is suddenly almost half the size and the amount of fish in the uramaki is significantly less. Way too much rice, so the taste is no longer what it used to be. We'll give it another chance, but this is a shame.

Het eten was voor ons niet indrukwekkend, het was prima te eten. De Mayo overheerste erg (mits je sushi kiest waar Mayo op zit). De warme gerechten leken uit de frituur te komen en waren erg vettig. De sushi ziet er in het echt anders uit als hoe ze het tonen op de menukaart. Voor ons was het geen €36,- pp waard.

Heerlijk gegeten met z’n tweeën en heel eerlijk, het eten is veel smaakvoller sinds de nieuwe eigenaar. Ook sla je geen sushi lust kan je hier heel goed terecht. Echt een aanrader ook als je met een grote groep bent

I ate here yesterday and it was delicious and the service was friendly. They also clearly indicate in advance how ordering works and why you can order 5 dishes per person at a time. I think it's very good that they are trying to prevent waste in this way. We haven't been without food for a second, ordering is super easy and fast. Highly recommended!!!

Such a good meal! You usually get 5 pieces per person per round, and you can order another round when things are eaten up, so choose wisely if you're a bigger group, because everyone will be chaising the good food.

All in but then you still have to pay extra for your drinks and I really didn't like that

I'm surprised at the negative reviews or maybe we were lucky ;-). Reception and service were excellent, what friendly and spontaneous staff! The food also surprised me, no Sushi but a variety of fish, meat and side dishes. Everything was very tasty, of very good quality and warm. I will definitely come back here again!

We waren hier uiteten en het was echt super lekker! je hoeft je ook geen zorgen te maken als 1 van iemand van jullie gezin geen sushi lust want ze hebben hier ook andere dingen naast sushi! En die toetjes oh wat lekker!! het eten werd ook snel gebracht het was er altijd als je wat bestelde binnen de 10 minuten bij jouw!

Well I gave the service one star less because when you get to the table you are asked what you want to drink, us drink ordered from this lady NEVER arrived to us. We ordered it ourselves later, even then it took quite a while before we received it. Was alcoholic so you pay extra for it!! The food was very tasty as usual

Nice all-you-can-eat sushi place

The sushi was fine, but it was very dirty inside. The floor was very sticky, especially near the toilets. Also, all the plates under the dessert bar were still dirty and sticky 🥲 Very friendly staff.

I have rarely gotten so little value for my money. The first 2 rounds of sushi only arrived on the table after 45 (!) minutes, and the other dishes did not arrive at a fast pace. Furthermore, the taste of everything was well below average, especially the sushi. The sushi all tasted exactly the same (nothing). And unfortunately even the simplest meat dishes were not cooked properly. We had already finished eating after 1 hour and 20 minutes, and left the tent after about 1.5 hours, instead of the 2.5 hours you normally have. Definitely not recommended!

Leuk restaurant maar men is onduidelijk over het All You Can Eat format met drank , hierin bleken achteraf alléén non alcoholische dranken te zitten dus zelfs niet eens een biertje of wijntje iets wat niet verteld werd bij binnenkomst dat vinden we niet erg eerlijk. Hierdoor kom je veel duurder uit dan bijvoorbeeld bij Ginza. De kwaliteit van het eten varieert, sommige dingen zijn heel erg lekker andere dingen waren een stuk minder. De bediening is goed en er wordt snel gewerkt. We kregen wel een aantal keren bestellingen die we zelf niet geplaatst hadden.

Very good restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is very good, attentive and fast. The owner is always very friendly and good to the staff which is very evident. Our favorite all you can eat in Enschede. Compared to others, the price is quite low. Definitely recommended.

Bad experience. No soy sauce or ginger on the table, requested several times, arrived very late while dishes had already been served. Then also dilute soy sauce with water. Very cheap. All sauces were diluted by the way. Bottled drinks served and no glasses included. Floor is sticky. Service not attentive and sushi turned sloppily. Flavors were fine. They make money too easily.

The restaurant we originally wanted to visit was unfortunately closed. After a bit of googling, we came across Asaka and reserved a table straight away. Nice atmosphere, solid food, great service. If drinks were generally included without an extra charge, I would definitely come more often.

Ate here regularly years ago. Went back again on Saturday. The food was very tasty and came quite quickly. Very occasionally something did not happen at all or only in the next round. What could be improved is the clearing. At one point there was a large supply of empty soda bottles and empty plates on the table. That could really be a bit faster. And mess on the floor can also be kept a little better.

We are always very satisfied with the food and service. The food always comes fairly quickly and is always of good quality. The service is super friendly and the appearance of the restaurant is very nice. Definitely recommended!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant about 7 years now and it almost never disapoints. Food is super good and has variety of dishes, very cozy and family friendly place. An “all you can eat sushi” you can’t miss in Enschede👌🏻😉

What an incredibly rude owner. There are 8 of us sitting at the table, ordering our dishes. The owner brings everything to the table with the comment “you order too much”. When I answer whether we have to justify to him what we order, the gentleman suddenly switches to waste. “The people who come here drive me crazy” “they waste a lot of food”. How can you as an owner say something like that about your guests? If your guests drive you crazy and you can't handle them, then you better do something else. Be grateful for every guest who comes to you and spends his/her €50. I have truly never experienced anything like this. Brutal and antisocial.

Super delicious food! Now our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, our last visit wasn't as we knew it. At first we didn't get an iPad, just a piece of paper (unfortunately we couldn't do much with the paper) but we were helped a lot and given extra time even though the store was completely full. Super friendly team no matter whether it is empty or full.

Very good option for sushi. Especially when picking up. Hot dishes (edamame, spring rolls, plantain) all arrived warm.

Menu completely copied from Blue Sakura or similar chains, but hardly any tasty sauces and too much cream cheese in the sushi. Very cute shop and you can't complain about the price, but it doesn't come close to Blue Sakura or Ginza.

After 5 years I gave asaka another chance, but I didn't like it that much. It didn't taste fresh, the avocado was brown with the nigiri sushi & the carpaccio was brown instead of nice red... I got extreme stomach pain during the night.

One of the better all you can eat restaurants in Twente. Nothing special in terms of decoration. We had some trouble with noisy German (young) neighbors at the table next to us, but fortunately they were soon gone. It's a shame that the service didn't bring peace to that table. Food is not very special, but well prepared. No dry chicken or anything else, just good! extensive map. you order in rounds via a tablet where you can choose a maximum of 5 items per person per round. Please note that drinking counts as 1 item. We opted for the drinks package for €6 extra. Alcoholic dragons are not included in the menu but are available at a reduced rate in combination with the drinks package.

I just love this place. I went on a date with my husband, it was full! It's for everyone literally. Families, kids, friends, dates... The food is so good, the staff are friendly, quality of food so good. I highly recommend it.

What a money-grabbing 1700 hours, there were no customers on Sunday, no wonder!!!!! Continue scraping at the local burger, I won't be coming here again

Best restaurant in Enschede 🥳 The all you can eat menu is priced fairly for the quality of the food (which is absolutely amazing) and I haven’t had a single dish here that I didn’t like. Must try: duck soup, nigiri, ebiko gunkan (pictured), peking duck bali, tori teriyaki, karaage, gyoza, ebi kushi, kimchi.

Ordered delicious sushi via UberEats. Neat delivery person, almost exactly on time (live outside) and properly and neatly packed. Special compliment for the Spicy Tori Maki! That's a keeper. ASAKA Enschede is not the cheapest, but with this quality it doesn't have to be! So recommended....

I had a very nice meal at Asaka last night! There is a wide choice of sushi and grill dishes. The side dishes are also very tasty. However, the service left much to be desired... Not very personal and when we were escorted to our table we were not given any explanation about the tablet and such. Very special. People who sat next to us half an hour later received a detailed explanation... At the end of the evening an unpleasant surprise awaited. My bank card was declined. I had enough balance, and 5 minutes later I tested my card somewhere else, and it just worked there. So this problem lies with Asaka. Very inconvenient if you cannot pay after a pleasant evening because the ATM does not take your bank card... so a bitter aftertaste.

Excellent all you can eat Sushi. Friendly staff. The restaurant is neat and pleasantly decorated. The toilets could be better. The Sushi is tasty, as are the other dishes. You have to pay extra for the luxurious snacks, as well as for good drinks. The house wine is bad, which is a shame.

Food quality and taste was great related to the price. Service was disappointing, 50% of the staff did not say anything when serving, the others spoke because they had to buy without any interaction. Since it was quiet, lot of empty tables and the staff behavior also the atmosphere was disappointing.

The best sushi I've ever eaten. Is indeed a little expressive, 46.5 euros for all you can eat for 2.5 hours, but is worth it.

We regularly eat here, in our opinion it is one of the better all-you-can-eat restaurants in Enschede. Wide choice of sushi, wok & grill, and of excellent quality. And it's very nice that they also have several duck dishes. And although AYCE restaurants usually do not excel in the most attractive interior, it is fine here. Parking is available at the Q-park opposite

Empty plates were left on the table for too long. Unfriendly staff. During the fourth round we still received food from the first round. In short, one of the worst AYCE restaurants I have visited.

I have never experienced this!! Order placed at 12:00 in the morning ordered for 20:00 in the evening. It was meant for a party but it was canceled at 8:30 PM! Was waiting here with 15 people but was cancelled. How unprofessional is this? Once and never again

If you want to eat good sushi, you should go here. Even when the restaurant is full, the staff is prompt and the food comes to the table warm. The desserts could be presented a little more attractively.

The lights were very bright tonight. Not really attractive. And we were kind of in a forgotten corner, so they didn't come by often to pick up empty plates.

We used to come here regularly, now we've been back twice under the new management, unfortunately for us there were many things on the old menu that we enjoyed, we really miss these. I don't think the food and service are bad, but the offering is a bit poor for what you pay.

Great ambience. The food was incredibly tasty and absolutely worth the price. The waiters adapted wonderfully to our language barrier and were very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again 😊 A tip: leave enough hunger for the delicious dessert buffet!

A very good 'all-you-can-eat' sushi (and more) restaurant in the city center of Enschede. The selection of food (unlimited rounds, each round up to 5 dishes, max. 5 dishes per round) is ordered using a tablet and (rapidly) brought to the table by the friendly (some of then only English speaking) staff. The dishes are very good and instantly prepared.
