Delicious food and great service. Personally, I think a few more dishes could be added to give you a wider selection. The quality was good, and you don't have to wait long for your food and/or drinks. The all-inclusive option, including drinks, is also a nice option. The staff is friendly. However, it was noticeable that one server repeatedly took plates away prematurely, interrupting conversations and stretching across the table. This certainly detracted from the atmosphere. Otherwise, it was good, and I definitely recommend eating there!

Top restaurant! Het eten is heerlijk, en zeker niet (zoals andere reacties zeggen) slecht of vet. Personeel is echt super vriendelijk en het eten is er snel. Drankjes zijn goed geprijst en niet te duur. De sfeer is goed! Als je dus voor een goede prijs bij een leuke zaak met vriendelijk personeel wil eten zou ik dit zeker aanraden!

It's open again, so I gave it a try. Much less choice on the menu. I gave the food a 6. It wasn't that great, which is a shame. The beans were cold and not tasty. The fried food was too greasy. The sushi was good. The service was very good and quick.

We really put the all-you-can-eat concept to the test thanks to a rather enthusiastic last-minute order. The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly. The lighting in the restaurant could have been a bit dimmer, though; that would have created a more inviting atmosphere.

After the reopening we were happy that we could eat at Ginza again. Many dishes fortunately remained the same, but we did notice that the portions of a number of dishes had become smaller. We also found the grilled chicken a bit dry. As the evening progressed it took longer and longer for the dishes to arrive with the highlight being a half hour wait for a piece of ribeye and 1! Fried chicken drumstick. We had a baby at the table who had had enough by now and went to the counter to pay. When asked if everything was to our liking we gave feedback that we had been waiting for our last meal for half an hour, that we found this very annoying and that they could cancel the order. The employee's answer... I will pass on your feedback. So nothing will be done with it. No more Ginza for us for the time being.

After the "reopening," I visited the restaurant again. Unfortunately, there were a few complaints about the food today. We ordered dishes, but they never arrived. The rib eye was a complete disaster – not medium, but rather "rare"... after ordering the first time and mentioning it to the waiter, I ordered it a second time, and it was inedible for me. In addition to the degree of cooking, the meat was also of very poor quality – tendons everywhere and otherwise just like rubber. Then, for the last round, we ordered something sweet... among other things, fried bananas... these arrived on a plate, and between the bananas was a chicken wing from the previous round... also nicely dusted with powdered sugar. The other dishes didn't impress us either - we liked it better in the past - I don't know if the chefs have stayed the same - but everything tasted a notch worse. Another negative: the menu on the table said kimchi, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it on the tray. On the positive side, the new Korean chicken was tasty, but I don't know if they should serve it with ketchup.

Wir waren heute im Ginza in Enschede und leider war der Besuch insgesamt enttäuschend. Das Essen konnte nicht überzeugen – viele Gerichte waren bereits kalt, als sie an den Tisch kamen. Das Sushi war trocken, und das Hühnchenfleisch wurde offensichtlich über längere Zeit warm gehalten und war dadurch komplett ausgetrocknet. Auch das „All-in“-Getränkepaket lohnt sich aus unserer Sicht nicht: Es umfasst lediglich Softdrinks, vier Weinsorten und Bier – alles andere, wie z. B. alkoholfreies Bier oder Radler, kostet extra. Für eine kleine Flasche alkoholfreies Bier sollten wir 1,50 € zusätzlich zahlen – das ist für uns kein echtes All-Inclusive-Angebot. Auch Aperitifs oder ein Absacker sind nicht enthalten – alles gegen Aufpreis. Unser Sitzplatz lag direkt am Eingang. Jedes Mal, wenn die Tür aufging, wurde es unangenehm kalt und zugig – das hat das Essvergnügen zusätzlich getrübt. Positiv: Der Service war freundlich. Leider reicht das allein nicht aus, um den Besuch positiv zu bewerten. Für das, was geboten wurde, ist der Preis einfach zu hoch. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen und können das Restaurant in der aktuellen Form nicht weiterempfehlen.

Unfortunately we finished eating here. Ginza was one of my favorite restaurants for sushi for a long time, but lately I have been disappointed. A special request submitted by telephone will not be honored. Dishes are often not fresh but have been ready for a long time. The staff is difficult to reach and they are often unable to quickly meet your wishes. The service buttons on your tablet have no effect (never received a waiter in 2 hours). The friendliness that the restaurant promises on the website is sometimes not there, the staff is constantly running around and prefers to ignore you. The Kikkoman soy sauce bottles are refilled by the restaurant itself, so I do not trust that the low-salt Kikkoman is actually low-salt. The appearance and decoration are pleasant, but the experience, service and quality of preparation are strongly reminiscent of fast food chains. Response to owner: Your response is as helpful as your staff. Our visit date to the restaurant was October 25, 2024. A substantive response is always welcome.

Two of us ate there on Sunday. We were seated immediately without a reservation, but were unfortunately completely disappointed. The sushi was very tasteless compared to other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, and the fish was very dry. The beef steak and lamb were almost entirely fatty. To make sure it wasn't just bad luck and a bad piece, we ordered a second round, but unfortunately, the same thing happened. The selection is very limited compared to other sushi restaurants. The drinks package is also unfortunately unsatisfactory; only one drink per round per guest every 12 minutes, and then 200 ml is very little. The sushi in the first rounds was served on dirty plates. We contacted the restaurant by cell phone during our visit and were asked which table we were sitting at. Unfortunately, no one came to address the problem. When the waitress asked us at the end if everything was okay, we explained our concerns. Unfortunately, they didn't address them at all. They simply told us how much we would have to pay. All in all, it was far too expensive for the quality and selection. We won't be coming back.

Miso soup was not hot. It was just warmish. Not nice. Salmon roll with salmon 5 pieces of caviar was only half covered with salmon piece. Rest of the rice was visible, though, there was a different picture in the digital menu: small amount of rice covered fully by thick salmon pieces. So, it was a disappointment. Person feells fooled. There were five of us there. Had a great space, the whole store exudes a cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean and the staff was always on the go. Diligently collected glasses and plates. The dishes were all fresh and of high quality. Today we tried new sushi again and all 5 of us were totally satisfied. The price is higher, especially on weekend evenings, but it really has everything your heart desires and is fresh. Thank you for the lovely evening and the great service 😍

The people were super slow and kind of meh. The food took forever to come to us. We went for lunch and the restaurant was empty yet we waited 30 minutes for basic Maki sushi. The tablet was super annoying to use, and the food was just meh. The plates came dirty, and we got asked if we liked the food every time a plate came to the table. Overpriced and low quality worst combination. If you want good sushi, go to Asaka. People are nicer, food comes quickly, and you get an ice cream part of the luch or dinner. Edit: The response from the establishment in google reviews was very aggressive which I find very childish. Of course, your employees won't recognize me they get hundreds of customers daily, but okay! Thank you I will enjoy my meal at Asaka! (This is another reason not to go there!)

The food tastes very good, it's fun to order via tablet. Unfortunately the orders get very mixed up. E.g 3 tour queried and the beans from the 1st tour still come. or steaks with ice cream. Service is okay, mostly nice and friendly employees, only speak English or Dutch. The dining room is nice, the sanitary facilities are excellent. In a nice atmosphere, we were offered everything you could expect from a sushi restaurant for 45 euros per person. Steaks and fries as well as fried chicken and fish were also on the menu. Most drinks were all inclusive. Everything came to the table super quickly. Of course you have to remember what you ordered. There were eight of us there and we really enjoyed it. Parking was also very easy and for €3.50 it was quite inexpensive in Enschede city center.

If I can give zero stars I would! Horrible service. We arrived 3 adults and 2 kids (6 and 9 years old), first the waitress started to ask us several times if we want lunch or dinner we were a bit disturbed since it was only 14pm!! Then once we figured out that at 14pm is actually lunch time, she asked how old our kids are (I guess they have a cheeper menu if you’re below 10 y.o.). After I said my child is 9, she started to question me for 5 minutes consistently repeating over and over “SHE LOOKS OLDER”… for 5 minutes she kept on interrogating me like I’m lying to her, like she was waiting for me to add another year to my child’s age so we can start to place our order!! Nonsense!! At the end we just stood up and said this is unacceptable to interrogate us like we’re in a police department and if I say my child is 9, she is absolutely nine! Horrible waitress and to mention also the restaurant was empty even though it was a weekend and lunch time .

We had All you can Eat+ drinks. Everything tasted great and the food was freshly prepared. Hygiene is very important in this restaurant, everything was clean including the toilets! Good service on top. We will definitely be back!!

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The conditions are not at all attentive, it even sometimes seemed to me as if we were being avoided and the conditions always wanted to escape quickly. We chose the “all you can eat” option and the food we ordered from the tray came very late (it felt like only one bowl came every 15 minutes) or sometimes nothing at all. In the end we were €140 poorer and had a stomach ache ☹️. Sorry, we won't be coming back

We have been here at least 10 times, one of my favorite restaurants so far! We sometimes notice that if you arrive a little later you have to wait longer because it is busier. But the wait is rewarded with delicious food! We're going there again tonight, see you tonight!

We stopped to eat at Ginza while driving from the UK via the Netherlands to Germany. It was a recommendation from a friend. The experience was excellent. The sushi and teppanyaki was fresh and tasty. The drinks and service were very good. My wife and I are fussy eaters and own a hotel and a restaurant. Overall we congratulate this family restaurant for their genuine passion and concept. It is hard to find good sushi and teppanyaki but this place is worth your time and money. Thanks from Ahidel and Harry to the Ginza family and team. As Arnie said " I'll be back"

Busy, but you can understand each other perfectly. The service is excellent, everything is well explained and the people are fast and very friendly. The hot dishes often have the same sauce taste, which is a pity. Many good sushi variants.

I come to Enschede for Ginza! Not to knock any of the other similar restaurants in the city but I’ve always been happy with my visits. The food is fresh and the staff are friendly.

The food was generally good. The delivery took a very long time, and all the pieces in the container were really messy. I called about it. The woman on the phone said it was still edible and not that bad.

We used to go to Gi..., but since the reopening, it's been impossible. Asaka is now by far the best. Super fresh, simply delicious.

Good sushi, but lacking in flavor. The crunchy rolls had very little crunch and were dry, as you can see in the picture.

The sushi is good, but the lady who makes it is not friendly. She ignores you, and when it suits her, she looks at you instead of saying "I'll be right with you." Not a single word, and if she says something, she interrupts your question with an answer without letting you finish. The first time this happened I thought, hmm, she must have been having a bad day. But now the third time in a row that it has happened like this. Also hearing other visitors talk about how they were treated, all of which resulted in this review.
