We went out for Christmas dinner with the kids, partners, grandchild, and a friend (six adults and two teenagers). It was fantastic. Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff.

Favorite restaurant. No tapas restaurant can compete. We come here at least once a month.

I was recently driving through Zevenaar and decided to eat there because the restaurant looked nice and had good reviews. But the meal surprised me quite a bit. The chicken satay I ate first wasn't even warm through; it was cold. The tempura was so hard. It was clear that many dishes had been prepared in advance, and that tempura had apparently been sitting out so long that it had become rock hard. The service was friendly, though. Of the dishes I tried, I quite enjoyed the fried sweet potato.

What a beautiful discovery! We are 2 canadians who speaks french, living in Germany and the owner welcomed us and started to speak in french with us. We were able to talk and it made our visit really loveable. We took the chef menu and everything was so delicious. We loved everything in the menu and we left being so full. We would go back for sure with our family.

One star for the food, two stars for the service, and three stars for the cozy restaurant atmosphere. After not being back for three years—partly due to a few unsuccessful experiences in the past—we finally planned our Christmas dinner with the team here again tonight (because all the other restaurants were full). Unfortunately, we were disappointed again. The satay was served lukewarm, the fried chicken (used as a base ingredient in many dishes) was so hard it was barely edible, and the dim sum was so cooled and dried out that we couldn't even get it out of the basket. Even the cucumber was dried out. When almost everything seems to come from pre-made packaging, it becomes difficult to serve a good and fresh meal. Perhaps many dishes are prepared too far in advance, causing the flavor to deteriorate and the ingredients to no longer feel fresh. Fortunately, some of the desserts were tasty, and the service was better than before. And despite everything, we still had a pleasant evening with our team, thankfully. It's a real shame that such a beautiful restaurant can't—or won't—offer decent quality food.

Another delicious meal! This time with two men who had never been to Asian Spoon before, and they both also gave it a solid 10. My husband and I go there regularly, and we've never been disappointed. 🫶🏼

Friendly and efficient staff👍🏻. Of course, the food is delicious😋, something for everyone. They have an extensive menu and allow three dishes per person per order, with unlimited ordering until closing time, about 15-20 minutes between orders. And suddenly, you're full after six rounds😇😁.

Yesterday, October 16, 2025, we had a wonderful meal at Asian Spoon. After our trip to Japan, this was a welcome surprise. What delicious dishes, each one more delicious than the last and beautifully presented. A great tasting concept. The Oikonomyaki is especially delicious. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary, and we received a lovely surprise. Great service. Fantastic!!

Oct 25: Ate here again, this time with friends. Very tasty food, friendly service. It was very busy, but we didn't notice it, the food was delivered quickly and was of good quality. Sept 25: Ate here again with family for the first time in a long time, and it was delicious! Great, friendly service, you can order your dishes via QR code, and they were all of excellent quality and flavor. Two sushi orders were missing, but when she heard this, she asked if she should check with the kitchen. This was resolved perfectly. We were able to choose two desserts to finish, and we went home satisfied (and full).

We've been coming here for years and it never gets old. Every month, they offer new dishes and cocktails. The staff are all friendly and always up for a chat. There are many original dishes on the menu, and everything is delicious. You definitely need to come back more than once to get a taste of all the goodness. The last time we were there, the restaurant was packed, so reservations might be recommended. The restaurant also has ample parking on site.

This is my favorite restaurant; we come here regularly, probably because we live about 100 meters away😄. The food is always good here, the atmosphere and experience are excellent. Just back from a delicious meal at Asian Spoon! The flavors were truly fantastic, so authentic and fresh. I had the Pad Thai, and it was perfectly balanced—not too sweet and nicely spicy. My partner had the green curry and absolutely loved it too. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves Asian food in Nijmegen!

Delicious food and great people who work there, who care about their customers

I have to be honest, I didn't find it anything special. There were no sweet potato fries. A lot of the menu is in Chinese, and I find it difficult to choose the right one. Everyone is on their phones, so conversation at the table is lost. It's very unsociable because you have to look everything up on your phone.

Ate here for the second time in a short time. It's all-you-can-eat with the friendliness of a bistro. The staff are attentive, friendly, and know what they're bringing. The entire team exudes hospitality, is friendly, and professional, and the hosts are happy to take the time for a chat, which makes the experience even more personal. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, with modern decor and pleasant background music. The cocktail menu is also extensive and offers plenty of delicious options. Definitely a place to return to.

Initially, there was a lot of variety and refined flavors. Unfortunately, the second experience, six months later, was already a bit less so. Fewer choices and less refined flavors than the first time. We also often received the wrong dishes or only half of what we ordered. The desserts are still delicious, contemporary, and accompanied by a good coffee. A pleasant atmosphere for a large restaurant thanks to the well-designed interior. Reasonable price/quality ratio.

We enjoyed the Chef's Menu with our friends. Everything was delicious. The sushi is also highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful evening and great service.

We made a reservation for the Early Bird Menu. We started at 4:00 PM and left before 6:30 PM. Plenty of time for us. This was our first time here, to see if it's something we'd enjoy coming back with family. The selection is more than ample. The quality and taste are excellent. Everything is delicious. You order by phone, and the order is delivered very quickly. It got a bit busier around 5:00 PM, but that didn't affect the delivery time. The dishes continued to arrive quickly. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful location, great atmosphere, ample parking, excellent service, and above all, delicious food. Tables are quite close together and could be spaced out a bit more for privacy. You order via an app, which is simple and easy to use. Be careful not to accidentally order extras while scrolling through the menu, and double-check your order before submitting. I unknowingly ordered a Pornstar Martini, which was thankfully removed from my bill.

Excellent food in a pleasant setting. A big plus is that there's no time limit, so you can take it easy. TIP: the live music evenings are highly recommended and are listed on the website.

Asian Spoon is a cozy and atmospheric restaurant. It doesn't look like it from the outside, but once you enter, it's a beautiful and well-maintained restaurant. The staff makes a point of welcoming you warmly, primarily with humor. The food is good and served quickly. They also clear the table frequently, so your table isn't full. You can order your own food and drinks using the digital system, so you don't have to wait for service and can choose how much time you want between orders.

Asian Spoon restaurant in Zevenaar is an excellent restaurant to visit with friends or family. The concept of ordering small dishes of sushi, meat and/or salads allows you to try out new flavors. You can have as many 'rounds' of ordering as you like. Not the cheapest restaurant. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Cutlery and menu cards aren't always the cleanest. It was another great evening with live music and delicious food. Our favorite restaurant for years. They stay relevant by regularly adjusting and adapting the menu. Last night was well organized again. Great staff, good live music with a nice atmosphere and the personal touch.

Have eaten at Asian Spoon several times. What struck me now is that a number of things that were on the menu were no longer available, such as sweet potato fries. Shrimp that are not breaded on the menu, but are breaded when you order them... carpaccio has completely disappeared. The choice is no longer huge. And what surprised me most is that you have to pay extra for a lot of dishes, while the price of more than 40 euros in the weekend is still above average.

The conclusion of the wonderful evening with excellent food was a bit of a disappointment. It turned out to be only possible to order two desserts per person, we found out too late. Otherwise we would certainly have made other choices.

Very tasty food. All you can eat but brought to the table. I hope to be back one day again.

We have eaten here before, excellent food and service. If something unexpectedly goes wrong, it is immediately resolved. Always extra attention for our little one. She can make her own ice cream with the staff or gets a coin for the claw machine in the kids corner.

Really delicious food! Service was very friendly and helpful where needed. Compared to other all you can eat restaurants the menu is somewhat more limited, however the quality is very high and therefore a lot better than at other restaurants. We will definitely come back!

The food and atmosphere are amazing. I have eaten here multiple times now and it never stops being delicious. It can get a bit hectic at times which results in incorrect orders, but this is usually resolved rather quickly.

We hadn't been there for a long time and the menu had changed. Not strange in itself, but unlike in the early years, the dishes are often wrapped in a dough jacket and deep-fried. That is of course very efficient for the kitchen, but it is not tastier and certainly not healthier.

The food was already delicious, the atmosphere was very nice, but then an employee (sorry, I didn't ask your name) heard that I had obtained my diploma and recently had a birthday. And suddenly I was surprised with a plate with a beautifully written congratulations in chocolate, a brownie, fruit and a firework sparkler/candle. Thank you!

Delicious cuisine, order at the table via the app. No time limit and that is very nice. No walking people like with a wok. A restaurant where you can enjoy yourself quietly and understand each other and the owners are lovely people who are passionate about their profession. Making a reservation is recommended, but during the week you can also call and it will be a bit quieter. We have become regular customers.

Very cozy restaurant with nice surprising dishes on the menu, all of which taste very good! And what nice service!

The waitress dropped 1 dish (sushi) on our table. She politely took it back and then came back a few minutes later with the same sushi... (we could tell from the sushi because the sauce was crushed). Well.... Some dishes were lukewarm or even cold. That tastes less. Other dishes were tasty and of sufficient temperature.

The food was fine. We thought the service could be a bit better. Our table and tables around us were always full of containers/plates. And a little more enthusiasm when serving would be better. If I compare it with Mundoz (same concept), for example, the staff walks around enthusiastically, has nice interaction with the guests, quickly collects the empty containers and also serves the dishes better.

Delicious food at Asian Spoon! We like to come here with friends and family. The new menu (from 2025) is surprising and you can clearly taste the influences from Southeast Asian culture, delicious! Especially the Korean Fried Rice, Japanese chicken salad, Bao Bun with Chicken Karaage, Okonomiyaki and the Ket Chap Ngao are our favorites! Of course the rest on the menu is also delicious, such as the sushi 🍣 Until next time 👍🏻

It was very nice and cozy! There were three of us, celebrating my daughters 22nd birthday. So sweet that the staff sang for my daughter and made a dessert especially for her with a birthday text and a brownie!! Delicious food!!

Good quality oriental cuisine. Very tasty snacks. Clear differences in taste experience for the different Asian cuisines. Order via a QR code. I am not a big fan of it, but here it was effective and easy to use. The staff is adequate and friendly. Unfortunately, the tables are very close together, so there is little to no privacy.

An attractive restaurant with tasty tapas and beautifully presented plates/bowls. You order via your own phone by scanning a QR code, but the dishes are brought to you chaotically. Not everything at one table, someone brings this and the other brings that, everyone takes turns eating. We didn't have half of one course yet and it was already ready for the other. When we were having dessert we suddenly got tempura shrimp from 3 orders back. We thought that was a shame, but otherwise the staff was nice.

The food was of very good quality and beautifully prepared. The place to sit was also pleasant and quiet despite it being very busy. Some staff were particularly friendly and helpful. I have occasionally seen a piece of sushi fall off the plate during serving and the waiter replace it with his hands. I don't find this cool. I can imagine that something happens in the kitchen on a regular basis, but doing this at the guests' table goes too far. I think this is a shame, because otherwise I could have given five stars for the service. Ordering is done by telephone. I personally find this less useful. At some restaurants this is done via tablet from the restaurant itself or verbally. I wouldn't choose this.

What I thought was a shame was that it took a long time for the dishes to arrive in one round and also very spread out. For one round they sometimes stood at your table 5 times to serve a dish..

Great place. Very friendly service. Nice location, atmospheric. The only thing I regret is that they don't have fresh tuna sushi, only salmon. It would be great if they could add tuna to the menu. It is also a pity that pop music is played. It would be more atmospheric if it wasn't pop music. But that's a matter of taste.

Tonight I visited you again as a regular guest. I eat with you regularly and it is always perfect except tonight. You have really made yourself known and I find it completely antisocial how you respond to our complaints. From round 1 we indicate that dishes will be served lukewarm to cold at the table, to which you have already responded from this moment on: that is strange, sorry, but I am not going to complain about food if it is not necessary. Subsequently, the wrong drink is delivered to which we respond and the right one is simply not returned. After asking different waiters 4 times for 1 container of mayonnaise, I barely received a container of mayonnaise 40 minutes later. After complaining about the food a few times, I got up in so much frustration about the cold food and after indicating +- 10 dishes I was really fed up with the fact that this was the quality of the evening. To which the response was that it cannot be cold because it is served immediately. So you're portraying me as some kind of crazy person because I've been saying all evening that certain dishes are served cold? Then I don't think you really understand playing restaurant. Arguing with your guest, what a joke this is. After ordering 2 rounds of dessert where it also went wrong twice, we were completely done with this evening. When paying, it was said that the rest of the guests were not bothered by it, so again it's like I've been lying all evening. If you had come up with a solution, you would have been much cleaner as a company instead of just saying that it couldn't be cold. If you had put it in your mouth, you would have tasted how cold the food was served, then you wouldn't have had to start the discussion and you would have acknowledged that it was indeed the case. You have lost me as a regular guest and I will not recommend you to anyone anymore. What a shame.

Ordered a takeaway menu for 2 people and was very disappointed. Ordered spring rolls instead of soup, but received Beijing soup, very salty and tasted more like a spicy sauce than a soup. Shrimps in a jacket very tough, the rest was okay, but not worth €65, ordered this menu for the first time, but let's go Don't do it again, let us know by telephone that it was quite disappointing and for that reason it was not what we expected, but it did not really impress the Asian Spoon operator. Typical case of shame then. Bye Asian spoon!!
