Automatiek Piccadilly in Wijk 11 Venlo-Centrum

I drove across the border for a quick lunch break to enjoy a Frikandel special one more time this year. I came across the Friet-Ei and tried it. Delicious – highly recommended!

No menu. I called the menu and was only told it wasn't online. No further solution received. Not customer-friendly, not recommended.

We stumbled upon this shop by chance while looking for a small snack bar. We were at the other end of the pedestrian zone, and it was too crowded for us. Luckily, we decided to walk another 10 minutes and visit this snack bar. We were curious to try the house specialty, the "Friet-Ei," and we were not disappointed. The price and quality are absolutely perfect here; you get small snacks for a reasonable price and can put together your own meal. We will definitely be back next time we're in Venlo.

The fries were delicious, but the staff were incredibly negative and unfriendly. We arrived 10 minutes before suit time and were clearly not welcome. We did eventually get fries, but not with love.

Delicious snacks from their own kitchen, the most famous being the "Friet-ei" (Fries-egg). One of Venlo's best export products. Recommendations: Homemade: Asparagus Croquette (delicious) Bamischijf (Nasibal) Meatball True Venlo locals, in word and deed. Here you could also enjoy a good old chat, a dirty joke, or a history lesson from Venlo's oldest entrepreneur: Mie. Now Hans & Jose. It's more than just a snack; you get the experience as well.

The store's employee is uniquely unfriendly toward customers. However, the vending machine food is quite interesting and worth trying. The store itself, and as mentioned, the employee, are not at all recommendable, so we definitely didn't want to linger there.

Very tasty, and the owner is friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Very very unfriendly staff. We went there with the intention of buying something, but didn't find anything that made us want to go out. We were then insulted and insulted by the waitress. We've really never experienced anything like this before...

I love this shop 🙂👍🏽 and their fried egg. Then have one in the car for the way from Venlo to Cologne. The Pomeranian special was also great 🙂👍🏽.

You will find this chip shop gem a bit hidden in a side street of the busy shopping streets. Upon entering you step back in time a few years. The fact that this automatic has been around since the late 1950s is reflected in the beautiful details in the interior. A change machine for guilders, the old photos and of course the matching tiles from that time. Despite its age, it is in beautiful condition. The house specialty (and we came especially for this) is the legendary fried egg: half an egg in curry ragout, breaded and fried in deep-frying fat. It tasted fantastic, you eat it neatly out of the fist, but make sure you blow it well 😏

Arrived at 12 but apparently the kitchen wasn’t even close to being ready for service and the person in charge was very rude and gave me the impression that I should be a shamed for having the sheer audacity to even try and visit her shop !

Good food, old-fashioned fun. And of course you can get the one and only French fries egg here. Definitely worth it.

It's that I hardly come to Venlo anymore. now that I no longer work there. But otherwise, when we are in Venlo, that is certainly a must. Delicious pickled meat and of course what they have been known for for years and years, their fried egg. The only real. I used to come here as a child with my mother. It's great that his business is still there. Hopefully we can enjoy it for a long time to come.

The Fried Egg is sensationally delicious and a must for every Venlo visit. You simply have to try the Fried Egg. We'd love to come back!!!

I've been here twice in the past and the fries didn't taste good; very sour taste and one of the two times I ate a bami block that seemed to be half frozen and therefore probably had not been put in the microwave before frying. The man comes across as very rude and makes fun of other customers, such as one of those two times when he scolded another customer for talking so loudly. That may be the case, but as a businessman you should never insult other customers. I honestly don't understand why this case still exists. The man also has a very sullen face that he obviously can't do anything about.

If I get lost in Venlo, I always go for a fries egg at Piccadilly.. Hmmm 😆
