Axis Lobby & Cocktail Bar in Schiphol

Elena from Lobby bar was ASTONISHING! I kept coming back for the experience with her. I suggest a promotion asap.

Amedeo and his colleague Vito provided excellent service during our light lunch. The bitterballen were excellent, and the club sandwich was a generous helping. The Cesar salad was average.

The Axis Bar is The Place to be!! If you want a very nice bar to have a few drinks with....choose this one....thrust me.....it is nice and quiet to reset your mind......Even if you go on an early holiday the next day.....go here......your holiday starts here!!! Aneta and her team of wonderful bartenders know exactly what kind of drink you want.....and guess what they'll make it for you!!!!! Too bad I could not give this place 10 stars.....if I could.....I really would!!!!!!

We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, 25 minutes before they took our order because the restaurant was full, and we were finally served at 10:30 PM. A two-hour wait for two hamburgers! And this is the Hilton, not just some cheap hotel. The waiters couldn't care less. It's shameful. We had to speak to the hotel manager to get things sorted out. Oddly enough, everything was resolved 10-15 minutes later. The hamburgers were served in our room so we wouldn't have to wait at the bar, and we were given two large beers. It's really a shame it came to this.

I spent a week at the Hilton and really appreciated the Axis Lobby & Cocktail Bar! This lobby bar is stunning! The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Like when I needed a cookie with my drink or added tasty hard apply cider after another patron introduced it to me! I especially want to say how Thijs, the bartender, made me amazingly tasty cocktails and introduced me to fruity elderflower tonic water with 1689, a mild Dutch pink gin! Martini time was always fun as the patrons as well as staff are from all over the world and provided great evening chats! Now, if I could only buy 1689 Dutch pink gin in the states because there was no duty free store at the airport!! Oh, and the TV and very comfortable seating were a nice perk!

It was an incredible experience, I had a very enjoyable time and I would like to thank Laura at the bar for her special attention and Mertcan who cooked our meals in the restaurant, we enjoyed it very much.

This restaurant is reliably good. The new menu has a quite lovely assortment of sharable starts which we opted for. Each one was a twist on traditional favorites.

Tijdens het brengen van familie die in het hotel verbleven (kamer 0835) was mijn baby van 1 aan het huilen omdat hij wilde slapen en ik had geen melk bij me voor hem. Ben ik langs de bar gegaan en kwam Sonya ons helpen. She is simply THE BEST. She saved the day and wow I just have no words to thank her for what she did. Sonya you are the best Thank you for your kindness and your care and help. ♥️♥️😘

Service is amazing, very hospitable and good drinks. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, open late, solid banter, and from a Brit that’s saying something.

Great service at the bar with irene and laura. Convevial space great choice of spirits . You can spend a great time here and the bar food is good especially the bitterballs.

Traveling for work is can be a drag. What makes it great are the people you meet. I have been all over the world on business for the past 25 years and I can honestly say that Laura and Irene are 2 of the best bartenders / hospitality workers I have even encountered. Not only were they friendly, engaging, and genuine, but they are both great bartenders. I take my cocktails very seriously and I can tell you that they knew what they were doing. For an airport hotel, you will get a premium bar treatment from these two. Grazie per tutto!!

Casual dining located in the Hilton Schiphol. Lively hotel bar with great wait staff... the bartenders are internationally seasoned and provide a professional level of service. Probably dropped a bit more cash than expected on my last night before returning to the U.S. but I credit Irene and Laura for making this an exceptional, easy to enjoy bar food experience. Highly recommend considering it was my last day from touring Amsterdam, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Ghent and Brugge. Couldn't ask for more hospitable treatment, fun bartenders and guests alike.

Great hotel lobby bar and the service was great - Walter does a great job (above and beyond!).

We had an overnight layover so stayed at the Hilton. Service was excellent so was the atmosphere at Axis. The food was delicious. Club sandwich, poke bowl and asian stir fry - all delicious. The wine pours were also generous.

We don't have high expectations from a hotel bar, but this time, it was surprisingly very good! The cocktails were delicious and the snack food absolutely mouth-watering! We had the best chicken wings! The best that we ever tried! Crispy and full of flavor!

Bar zoals een andere. Niks speciaals en beetje raar opgezet in de lobby. Aan de duurdere kant ook. Beter gewoon naar het restaurant gaan.

Excellent bar staff; very attentive and professional. Really knew how to make a Manhattan and "the classics".

Not a great bar. Staff were not friendly. Slow service. Ambiance is lacking. The cocktails were high quality and great! I’m staying at Hilton, but moved on to Sheraton upstairs bar instead. Much more professional and great atmosphere.

Booked through an app at 11 p.m., arrived on site, kitchen closed at 10 p.m....possibility of eating peanuts. The hotel across the road offers 24/7 catering 😉

Ordered the gin and tonic with the zeekraal..drink was delivered to me without the zeekraal and instead a lime leaf.. I asked the waiter Where's the zeekraal he said we didn't have anymore? Why wasn't this informed to me when I ordered the drink?

Sit and enjoy. The service staff does not always come by to ask if you want something, so feel free to go to the bar to order. Definitely worth it.

Quality is great, but the space just doesn't feel like a bar.

Omg, this little hotel bat was the most fun I've had in a while. First off, the local drink of jenever was amazing in all its forms, so try it. The bartender, Gereon, read an artist with cocktails. I was amazed at the subtle nuances he imparted into my cocktail. Please give this place s try.
