Unfortunately, it was closed on a Saturday evening. However, Google Maps shows it as "open". It's annoying when you plan your trip and arrive only to find the doors locked.

We had a wonderful evening at Chez l’Hetre. Delicious food of the highest quality. Friendly and excellent service. Wines that paired perfectly. And a very relaxed atmosphere. We also had a nice chat with the owner, who shows genuine interest in his guests. We truly had a lovely, relaxing evening. We enjoyed it thoroughly!

Good, atmospheric bar. You cannot order food there.

Great experience with a tailored beer tasting. The owner takes the time to gauge your taste and matches the beers accordingly. The weather was hot, so Venlo White was certainly not missing!

Nice space, plenty of room, but a bit dated in terms of decor.
