Very, very, very bad. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The food was delicious; we had Koezi, a mixed grill, and Arabic chicken shawarma. Afterwards, we had kunefe and tea. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We wanted to try some Arabic cuisine and stumbled upon this restaurant just across the Erasmus Bridge. It was truly delicious. It started with the appetizers: delicious, fresh, warm flatbread and various delicious dips. Then came the main course, which was truly succulent. We ordered the family mixed grill with seven skewers, lamb chops, and shawarma. All in all, a really nice place, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try some Arabic cuisine.

This is place is amazing, really loved the food here, the service was great and the prices are good for the quality and quantity. All the skewers were tasty and my personal favorite was the lamb skewers. The dessert was also very delicious, very interesting but very tasty. A must go if you want to eat Middle Eastern food!

Peace be upon you I traveled 3 hours to come to this restaurant with my family. First of all, the girl who takes the order was extremely rude and disrespectful. Most of the food we ordered was sold out, meaning the spare ribs were gone. The meat shawarma was sold out. We ordered a mixed salad platter, a small plate with nothing on it except tahini, eggplant, and red tahini. The whole thing cost 17 euros. The price is very expensive for such an empty plate. I asked the girl, "Where's the tabbouleh?" and "Where are the salads?" She said, "I have to pay extra." I chose the most expensive mixed plate they have, which only has tahini and yogurt, and it has cucumbers and eggplant. She spoke angrily. The restaurant is dirty and the food is all overpriced, with no quality or anything. I swear to God, I don't know them, and I'm telling you what happened to me. I advise anyone not to be fooled by them. Read the comments and understand better. I did not believe the comments before me, so I went and said I would try it. Anyway, the restaurant is a failure, the food is a failure, and the service is a failure. God is witness to my words.

Last weekend, I went to Bab Al Hara with a group of friends, and we were pleasantly surprised! Even though we were a small group, we were served quickly and the wait was surprisingly short. The food was excellent, deliciously seasoned, and more than enough. For the price, you get more than enough, and the quality is excellent. We ate until our bellies were full!

What a wonderful experience! We spontaneously decided to eat here, and it was truly wonderful to be introduced to Iraqi cuisine. Everything was carefully prepared, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the dishes. The icing on the cake was smoking a delicious shisha on the terrace.

You can taste real Iraqi food. Everything was perfect. I will visit the place again for sure

Poor service...you had to beckon or call out several times before anyone came. It almost felt like you were being ignored. Some dishes were really good, like the savory ribs, lamb shank, etc., but the Adana kebab and Iraqi kebab were disgusting. They had used more than just ground meat fat, and the kebabs smelled. We asked for them to take it back and give us something else.

If you are around do not hesitate to stop by. We went there without any expectation, as we just were hungry and nothing close by was open. However, I was impressed. One of the most delicious restaurants we've tried, the kebab is amazing, the tikka is amazing, the tabbouleh is melting grape leaves, and the yogurt is cold and flowing. I can't explain the taste, I fell in love with it. We miss eating real Dutch meat that's grown on pampering 😍

Picked up and ate on site, service is very poor. Ordered several starters and one of them did not arrive. We have now received the main course and not yet and when we ask we are told to wait another 15 minutes! We canceled this and at checkout it was still charged (only found out at home) you must always ask for extra bread on the spot and when picking up! I don't know any restaurant that serves 2 kebab skewers with 1 piece of bread! Of course you can pay for bread, idiot for words. The accompanying salad is far too little compared to other kebab restaurants, grilled vegetables are always charred! The only positive thing I can say is that the taste of Iraqi kebab skewers is delicious. Furthermore, all the food is mediocre and the service BAR bad... there are plenty of kebab restaurants in and outside Rotterdam, we will not go to this one again!

My husband and I had a great time last night. The staff was very kind, welcoming, and always smiling. The dishes were absolutely delicious! We ordered Tekke Kebab and Cholo Kebab, which were both very juicy and flavorful. They were cooked perfectly, and I am really satisfied. Considering the price, they are definitely worth trying at least once. However, if you are a bit concerned about oily food, I’d recommend avoiding Cholo Kebab, as the kebab is slightly fatty. Overall, everything was nice, and the atmosphere was great!

I have to say that the food was very delicious except for a few things but we left a little disappointed because of the price it seemed too much to the point of feeling ripped off... €75 for two dishes? Sauce and 3 grilled skewers? €40 at most it had to be!!

We had a great experience at this Iraqi restaurant! The bread, salad, and kabab with rice were delicious and came at a very good price. As Persians, we’re used to our own kabab flavors, but this Iraqi kabab was different in taste and equally amazing—it was a nice change. When we visited, no one was smoking inside, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. However, I hope smoking indoors isn’t common, as it would be bothersome for us. Luckily, during our visit, there was no smoking, and we could fully enjoy our meal. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a delicious and affordable meal with a unique Iraqi twist.

We used to live in Qatar and loved Arabic food, since we moved in Europe we never tasted food as good as in Qatar but when we went to Bab Al hara we found a new place to eat Arabic food that is trulli authentic and delicious

Although there were a lot of cars to get here, there were more than enough parking spaces. 👍 We walked to Bab Al Hara🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️to eat and taste🤷‍♂️😋. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and the hostess allowed us to choose a table. We chose a table at the back of the shop and had a good seat there. First ordered a combination of cold mezzas and warm mezzas. (However, we got fries and they were very good) but would have preferred some rice with it.) We know again🤣👍 Plus some lkkr flat bread and something to drink, such as a cocktail of mint and lemon, mint tea and Iraqi tea. 👍👌delicious drink. Then add skewers of chicken and lamb. Add several sauces and enjoy it deliciously. Around us were families, children and all kinds of young people who were eating in a relaxed manner. No noise from music that was played excessively. Just good👍no loud music or whining to be heard in a restaurant. Top. After having eaten (too much) delicious food, we walked outside at closing time in the cool evening to the horses🚙. Really the only downside is that they don't always understand you and don't speak Dutch very well. Furthermore, service is excellent, tables are cleared and cleaned immediately after eating. We got the Khobz bread, hummus, salad with pomegranite sauce, fries, rice, Adanah kebab, Aosal (chicken), Iraqi kebab and Aosla laham. The Adanah kebab was one of the best kebabs I've had. The texture was nice and crumbly but in a good way, the taste was extremely flavorful. I would definitely recommend the platter. The veggies on the side were great too, the onion, tomato, cilanto and pepper were such a good mix. Would recommend and the employees were super chill. After we got some tea, kunefe and hookah.
