By 2pm almost everything was sold out, the bin was full and the staff clearly didn't feel like it

Normally a big fan of Backwerk, but I won't be returning to the Amersfoort branch because of the unfriendliness of the staff. Curt, unfriendly, they gossip about you in Arabic while you're standing next to them, and at least one of the men comes across as aggressive.

Plenty of choice until late afternoon (close to closing time). A hardworking owner who offers excellent service!

Echt slecht, Wij waren er om 1400 uur en de broodjes waren bijna op, het koffieapparaat werkte niet goed en alle prullenbakken waren propvol. Het personeel had er duidelijk geen zin in. Ik ben over het algemeen goed te spreken over Backwerk maar dit was echt slecht.

I had the chicken sandwich, it was good! They also offer a wide variety of other options, which is great. It took a moment for someone to come to the register, but the issue was resolved quickly. They did ask me which sandwich I had, and it took me a second to remember too. The restaurant was clean, with nothing particular to note. I’d come back.

To-go packages never disappoint! Always filled with delicious sandwiches, with or without fillings.

Sandwich shop in the city center. Unfortunately, it has become very expensive, but it makes very good sandwiches. This store also participates in the toogoodtogo initiative, so you can sometimes get products at a discount and prevent waste. They also sell fresh smoothies and hot snacks. There is also enough seating if you want to eat your sandwiches on site, but taking it away is just as easy. The only downside is that during checkout the PIN machine is often automatically turned on, after which the cashier often walks away to continue other tasks, making cash payments a bit inconvenient.

Got a TGTG package here for little money, which is definitely worth the money

The ambiance is okay. The staff is moderately friendly. Unfortunately, napkins aren't refilled. Annoyingly loud smoothie bar.

The employee serves a different sandwich than what was ordered. When you ask about this, he says it doesn't matter and the price is the same. Unfortunately that wasn't true. Not neat and certainly not customer friendly.

Very tasty fresh sandwiches, creatively filled, and juices that are reasonably priced. The decoration of the place is a bit boring. And a pity that the coffee machine does not have a double espresso and that you get a single espresso in a cup that can hold up to eight, a bit of a waste of material.

Friendly, quite a lot of choice (nothing organic it seems, which is a shame), nice that they also have standing tables.

We paid more at the cash register than was stated on the price of the tickets. You pay extra for cups and lids. Not mentioned anywhere The smoothies here are relatively expensive and the cup is three quarters full. Don't come here again....

Nice shop, lots of choice and good quality. A toilet is available, but only accessible by (steep) stairs. Highly recommended for fresh and affordable food!

Nice tent where you can have a nice lunch.

Quality is ok, atmosphere is canteen-like... service itself ok but little motivation, no smile, more of a "I just come here to earn my money" attitude... too bad But what bothered me the most: you buy a bottle (0.5 liter) of soft drink, pay a deposit, but you cannot return the same bottle to them... there you are as a tourist... so only with 4 empty bottles further on the road... "you can hand it in at the supermarket" says the waiter...

Extensive choice of sandwiches. Coffee was just luke warm. A cloth should be wiped over the tables and floor more often. Not very pleasant. I think it is a very bad policy of Backwerk to pay for the plastic/paper coffee, tea and smoothie cups, under the guise of the environment and tax, not for taking it away, but just eating it there on the spot. Why not just glasses and mugs? You can wash them off, which seems a lot more environmentally friendly to me. Weird policy.

The sandwiches themselves tasted delicious, but the toppings were also very tasty. Good coffee@

Easy, fast and wide choice. Extra service by quickly warming up a sandwich... coffee was excellent. Atmosphere could be a little better... very tight and a bit chilly.

Delicious cappuccino and tasty crispy apple turnover. Price is very acceptable, € 2.50 cappuccino and € 2.00 apple turnover. Hygiene could be a little better, team leader/manager snaps at staff and the toilet could be kept a little better.

Staff who clearly did not feel like working. They didn't have the sandwiches we wanted (it can happen), but the sandwich they did have had been dry and hard in the display case for a little too long. We ran out of tissues. Tried to make this clear but was referred to the empty issues twice. When they discovered that they were really gone, they had to look for tissues. It had not been refilled until we left the store. Furthermore, the place is not clean. Food scraps and stains on the wall. Not worth repeating for us

Nice concept, only the toilet needs to be cleaned more often and better and can only be reached via a steep and scary staircase. In addition, they charge a plastic surcharge while we received our drinks in paper cups. Very weird. The grumpy employee's response was that sir is in the system by default.

Fijne zaak, heerlijke broodjes en heerlijke smoothies.

Lekkere broodjes voor een goeie prijs. Is wel duurder dan eerst maar nogsteeds goede verhouding.

Goed eten dat ook lekker is ruime keuze uit broodjes, smoothies en lekkere gebakjes zoals donuts. Niet te duur.

Lekkere broodjes voor een prima prijs. De hygiëne valt echter tegen, de tafels worden zelden schoongemaakt (vol met etensresten). Bediening aan de kassa ook onvriendelijk, zegt geen woord. Ze slaan het eten aan en lopen weg zodra het bedrag is ingevoerd in de pinterminal.

Even een broidje eten als lunch. Broodje was prima. Medewerker was lekker aan het bellen tijdens het afrekenen (geen woird mee gewisseld dus). Er mag wel wat vaker een bezempje door de hut.

We hebben er lekker gegeten, heel veel keus. Het personeel is vriendelijk

Broodje voor de lunch gekocht. Deze was alleen voor het oog belegd. Dus helemaal aan de rand zodat er wat beleg tussenuit stak. Rest was niet belegd! Wat een oplichting. Het heeft 2 sterren ipv 1 gekregen omdat de smoothie wel erg lekker was

Lekker gegeten en gedronken. Alleen het personeel mag wel actiever zich betrekken bij de klanten. Ze zaten nogal verstopt achterin.

Broodjeszaak. Meestal druk en wachten.

Buiten is het 3°C en de buitendeur staat wagenwijd open zodat de Langestraat verwarmd wordt. Dit is totaal nutteloos! Iedereen moet op zijn/haar energiegebruik letten en ik zou graag zien dat Backwerk Amersfoort dat ook doet.

Er zat een stuk plastic in een broodje en een haar in een koekje. Dat hoort toch niet. Respons van personeel was 'Ow sorry.' Erg teleurstellend!

Handige afhaalservice voor goede lunch

Niks bijzonders. Voor de goedkopigheid hoef je hier niet meer naartoe.

Eten is goed, "vers" gemaakt, maar, medewerkers bij de kassa staan vaak te bellen, spreken totaal geen nederlands en zijn niet uitnodigend kwa houding. Wouden vandaag niet eens een pizza opwarmen die we gekocht hadden, zeer jammer. Hij had warm beter geweest (pizza stuk beenham) Kwa klantenservice, vaak staat er niet eens iemand bij de kassa, stond vandaag 10 minuten te wachten om de man bellend aan te zien komen lopen! Jammer maar ja

Het broodje was heel lekker en erg van genoten. Maar de medewerker waar we afrekende had er overduidelijk geen zin in. Chagrijnige blik, geen begroeting, aan de telefoon tijdens het contact en smeet een rietje op m’n dienblad voor de smoothie. Werk hier dan niet als je er zo bij staat man, kom op

Prima lunch en kwaliteit. In Amersfoort doen ze alleen geen Corona check voor de mensen die binnen zitten. Je weet dus niet of de mensen virus vrij zijn binnen. In Veenendaal doen ze dit wel.

Broodjes zijn doorsnee, personeel ronduit ongastvrij. Kijken je niet aan bij de kassa, praten met andere medewerkers terwijl ze je "helpen", ze willen alleen je geld en verder besta je niet. Geen aanrader. Verder was het niet echt schoon te noemen.

De -aangename- toon werd meteen gezet toen een medewerkster mij vriendelijk vroeg of ze mij kon helpen. Na mijn bevestigend antwoord toonde ze en informeerde ze over de lunchmogelijkheden en -opties. Heerlijk belegd meergranenbroodje gegeten en wat ik mooi vond, was dat er vers fruit en gezonde smoothies verkrijgbaar waren.
