An ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee and pastry with young children (between 1 and 4, I think). Lunch options are also good. It's a shame that stair gates aren't allowed for fire safety reasons, which makes it less relaxing. It's upstairs, so strollers aren't allowed (you have to be aware of that). One minor criticism: there are lots of toys, but they're not complete and sometimes not clean. Oh well, it's good for their immune system ;), but that could be better.

What a fantastic lunch spot! Everything is so fresh and lovingly prepared, and the service is also top-notch.

It was a lunch stop for us. It was busy inside, so we asked if we could join a table for six, where only two women were seated. Apparently, this is quite common. I chose spelt bread with hummus, avocado, lettuce, and tomato, and my husband a toasted sandwich. Both came with tea, with a choice of fresh tea on the table. There is a restroom, very cramped, right between the front and back sections. On Sunday, there were two women working: one for orders and service, and one behind the counter, preparing everything. And despite the crowds, everything was under control. We will definitely be back.

The shop looks very cozy and authentic. There was one person making sandwiches during lunchtime. The other took orders and poured coffee. We ended up having to wait a very long time for our order, I think about half an hour, which meant our lunch break was over.

€3.50 (!) for a single croissant...unbelievable. I quickly left the store. I understand everything is getting more expensive, but I find this really extreme.

Delicious cakes. We sat upstairs. Children can entertain themselves for hours on that floor with all the toys. It was very dirty, though. Our spoons were left on dirty tables. Also dusty and hairy from their housemate (Putin the cat).

Delicious and plentiful food, good prices, and lots of vegan options. Very friendly and fast service too!

We sat on the back patio. It's strange that you have to walk through the kitchen to sit on the patio. The breakfast wasn't very good. When we went outside, we had to go back through the kitchen. There I saw a box of raspberries, and they were moldy.

The flair, the charm, the city is absolutely amazing, so tranquil and quiet. Here, the clocks tick completely differently. The food was delicious. They still bake their own bread, and they make a really lovely fruity homemade iced tea.

The tastiest grilled cheese in all of Amersfoort. You really have to try it!

You enter with friendly staff, all hard at work. Ordered a cornbread and I ordered a breakfast (vegan) with a cappuccino with oat milk, very nice heart in the milk foam😍 Super nice board with delicious fresh baguette, jam, bowl of vegan yogurt with granola and fresh fruit and a fresh orange juice. Enjoyed my breakfast outside in the sun…

A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy. The sandwiches were incredibly delicious, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. You have a view of the water with boats passing by. I'd go back anytime!

The coffee and cake were delicious. Service was friendly but.... you had to wait a very long time before someone came to ask if you wanted something. Already grabbed a menu myself. However, a jug of water with mint, lemon and glasses was placed on the table.

After roaming around this lovely town during lunchtime on holy Saturday we wanted to get a coffee: three of us got a cappuccino and two a black coffee. The cups are way too small but taste wise it was alright. I deducted three points for the service because of the attitude of the three girls working at the cafe. First of all it took a long time to get our coffee because there was a miscommunication between the waitresses. The girls were also eating and drinking coffee whilst making other orders which we found unprofessional und unhygienic, particularly because they were standing behind the counter which is next to the window, visible from outside. Moreover, they were gossiping about our table in dutch but since we speak german we could understand the gist of the conversation. We don't recommend this place.

Tasty bread of real ingredients from the local mills, friendly service and good coffee ... what else does one need to start a day ?

We had forgotten the sandwiches, we had to find something to eat, chance led us to Corazon! We had a blast! Homemade, a young and dynamic team and a very nice setting. We recommend 100%

It would be nicer if once you arrive and stand in front of the counter, waiting to order or ask something, the ladies working there would recognize your presence and say "I'll be right with you", without taking 5 minutes to say these words. It's a shame to see customers leave because they miss this brief attention. Update after response from the owner: when we came to pick up something, there were only two tables occupied. A bit strange not even a "Hi, we'll be with you shortly". The staff may be friendly, but that doesn't mean they know how to serve. don't blame them, they probably weren't taught how to do it. A bit sad to read such a proud response from the owner. Good luck with the public impression you get from your answers :)

Although the idea is really fun with their own floor for children and the kids watch the trains, that is really something you rarely see in Amersfoort. But as a parent I don't like sitting there and it just feels a bit dirty. Too many broken toys, a lot of chaos and camping furniture with dirty cushions. I think that with very simple upgrades they can make this a nice cool place again. Food is fine.

Op vrijdag 27 september in de middag dachten wij met het gezin gezellig een koffie te drinken met gebak bij Corazon in Amersfoort centrum, wij zijn hier vaker geweest omdat met name het appelgebak fantastisch is. De ervaring van vandaag was toch erg matig aangezien de bediening erg gestrest en chagrijnig was en toen ik vroeg welke latte de cafeïne vrije was kon ze me dat niet vertellen, er zat geen suiker bij de koffies en de chocolade muffin werd in eerste instantie een haverkoek, ook kwam de bestelling in 3 keer en moest de rest wachten. Deze werd omgeruild en toen we dank je wel zeiden kregen we geen blik waardig net als toen we weggingen en tot ziens zeiden ze waren alleen met zichzelf bezig. Jammer want onze vorige ervaring was juist zo positief en dan nu dit, het was echt een domper.

We came across this bakery and took the caramel shortbread. We liked it so much that we also took the brownie with us on the way back! We were helped very kindly. If we are in Amersfoort again, we will definitely come back.

I really loved it… I tried vegan Muhammara & Gegrilde Groente and a cup of coffee with carrot cake. It was really delicious 🤤 It’s also not that expensive plus you can either sit outside or inside. You must try it… it’s very close to city centre

Very cozy tent! It's confusing that you have to go through the kitchen to the rear terrace hahah! You can eat delicious cakes there and take them with you with delicious coffee! Super

Delicious breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere, very good cappuccino and decaf latte! And the breakfast was fantastic too, more than filling! So in our opinion, definitely recommended :)

Do order the mango lassi for the surprose element. The owner is a vivid traveler and has currated dishes from all around the world which are his favourite! And everything is green fresh and best for a good brunch.

We ended up here by chance and were thrilled. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared. The cakes and smoothies are also highly recommended. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly.

Lovely terrace on the water. Good coffee and very tasty breakfast. You can easily eat De la Campaign for two. It was downright delicious.

This is the little sister of lunchroom Corazon, which is located a little further away. The apple pie - which I was told - is mainly eaten by the elderly is fantastic. The controls are fun and also a bit fickle, which is actually quite funny. I often go here after shopping at the market on Friday or Saturday. When it rains outside… Corazon. Always tasty!

Slechte gloeiend hete cappucino in een dun koffiekopje met een vieze grote barst van boven naar beneden. Kreeg het opgediend met de koffie eroverheen gelekt.

Hier aangekomen voor een dessert omdat we bij een ander restaurant eruit waren gezet na een tijdslot! Zeer gastvrij onthaal, gezellige ruimte, ook achterin waar je het gevoel krijgt in de keuken te zitten eten. Lekkere koffie en heerlijke shortbread. Zo hoort het dus.

Apple taart is really a must try, amazing. The portion is big as well so I would suggest to share in 2. The place is tiny but cozy. Suggested for a quick stopover

Hele lekkere koffie en ultieme lekkerheden uit de bakkerij. De tosti met kip en pesto is ook echt een aanrader!

Delicious fresh artisan breads at a good price. Friendly service and an atmospheric traditional-looking bakery.

Wat een leuke, vrolijke en sfeervolle plek. Lekker een bakkie koffie gehad met een stukje gebak, nou geweldig. Koffie zeker lekker en het gebak, genoten. Als ik weer in de buurt ben ga ik zeker hier een keertje langs. Lekker op mijn gemak genieten, boekje erbij en er een vrolijke dag van maken.

Op een druk moment op de dag binnen. We werden niet geholpen aan tafel en moesten na lang wachten, opstaan om dan maar aan de bar te bestellen. Daarna bleek de hotdog ook nog koud te zijn. Deze werd wel warm gemaakt, maar zo weer in het broodje gekwakt. Geen goede ervaring, mogen wel wat aan klantvriendelijkheid doen.

Echt heel lekker brood! Goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Je moet het echter wel zelf snijden en mijn favoriet (spelt-desem) is helaas meestal al op.

Wij waren laatst bij jullie voor broodje hotdog die heel bekend is bij jullie en ook lekker. Helaas was deze op, dat kan. Wij zaten 3 kwartier te wachten op onze eten en terwijl wij wachten kwamen 2 andere collega's aanschuiven! Zij hadden 10 min voordat ze kwamen gebeld en besteld en wat krijgt 1 van hun, broodje hotdog!!! Ik had het aan de bediener gevraagd waarom krijgt zij wel hotdog terwijl zij 10 min geleden had gebeld en wij zitten hier al 3 kwartier, zegt hij brutaal van nee dat is niet waar!!! Ik lieg dus!!?? Terwijl ik het op het telefoon zag dat ze 10 min geleden had gebeld.... hoe dan!!???

The best Apple pie I had in Nederlands

Wat hebben we hier ontzettend lekker geluncht! In een kleine winkel gaven we onze bestelling door, waarna het wachten begon. Het duurde wat lang, want het was spitsuur. We hadden beide gekozen voor een belegd broodje (keuze uit verschillende broodsoorten) en een smoothie. Op het drinken moesten we nog wat langer wachten dan op onze broodjes. Toen wij uitgeluncht waren, was het rustig en hebben we nog even gekletst met een heel vriendelijke medewerker. Tenslotte zijn we weggelopen met een brownie (echt heerlijk)!

Heerlijke tosti’s en leuke bakkerij! Enige nadeel dat we erg lang moesten wachten op onze bestelling.

Leuke bakker, die uitstekende broodjes serveert om ter plaatse op te eten. Ruime keuze. Gewilde zaak op een gewilde locatie, dus druk. Maar dat is natuurlijk een goed teken.

A very nice location if you are lucky you might get a seat at a table near the canal. If not the street seating is very nice too. Inside was very hot and stuffy partly I think as most items baked are on site. We stopped here for an iced coffee day before and saw they did breakfast. Nice coffee and fresh orange. Sadly the bulk of the breakfast did not come till prompted it was on the side unserved. The wait for that was 45 minutes doubt it's a common error. Butter had melted so hard to spread on the nice bread. Same with the croissant 🥐 but very nice. Pity about the service malfunction.

Mooie bakkerij met aan achterzijde een terras gelegen aan het water. Toegankelijk via de keuken. Wel iets aan de krappe kant maar de heerlijke broodjes maken veel goed. Ook aan de voorzijde mogelijkheid om te zitten. Keuze uit verschillende broodjes met divers beleg. Het broodje met humus was heerlijk. Een waterkan met glazen stond al klaar voor dorstige klanten, heel attent. Dichtbij de plaats waar de afvaarten van de rondvaartboten zijn. Een fijn adres.

Overpriced en lang wachten op belegd broodje. Ik betaalde ruim 12 euro (!!!) Voor een belegd broodje kip en een plak bananenbrood. Wist niet wat ik hoorden. Alleen al 8,50 voor het belegde broodje waar de kontjes van worden afgesneden (waarom? Ik betaal hier toch voor?!) en zwemt in saus. Echt geen lekker broodje helaas. Bananencake daarentegen is wel aan te raden. Het duurde zo'n 20 min tot ik mijn bestelling had gedaan en broodje ij ontvangst kon nemen. Het was wel lunchtijd maar toch.

Lekkere verse appelgebak. Zeker een must om daar heen te gaan.

We got the chocolate crunchy brownie, which was fine, and the chocolate muffin, which was absolutely horrible. We sadly had to throw it away, it was that bad. Fake sweet flavor, no chocolate flavor at all. Very disappointed 😞

Nice to have a coffee. Well equipped for parents with kids and therefor not a place to relax or work.

De lekkerste appeltaart ooit! Heb het zelf al vaak geprobeerd na te maken en ook medewerkers gevraagd om een recept maar die blijft geheim. ;) Jammer maar dan kom ik gewoon om de zoveel tijd langs om weer te genieten!

Schattig, knus terras langs het water, te bereiken via de keuken van de bakkerij. Wij hadden een homemade icetea en een ijskoffie. Die laatste was erg lekker en het leuke ervan is dat je 'm zo lekker kunt maken als je zelf wil, voor 1 prijs! Ik had gekozen voor de hazelnootsmaak met chocoladesaus en brownies als topping. Dit smaakte erg goed en kom er zeker voor terug! Verder staan er flesjes zonnebrand om je mee in te smeren als het zonnetje lekker schijnt: erg attent!

Prima broodjes, maar niet handig voor snel even halen.

Wonderful bakery with great breakfast and a huge variety of delicious items. They even have some gluten-free pastries.

Hele fijne zaak, personeel denkt mee en al die lekkernijen zijn ook heerlijk!

Leuke informele setting. Lekker broodje. Vriendelijke service. Zeer goed gelegen in een leuke winkelstraat. De appeltaart rade andere gasten ons aan maar daar hadden we geen plek meer voor.

Op de website staat : onbeperkt ontbijt voor 12,50. Eenmaal in t cafe, blijkt dat de prijs 15,50 is voor het ontbijt. Oke prima. Maar wat blijkt nou, het ontbijtmenu is helemaal niet onbeperkt. Alleen het brood. Geen onbeperkt koffie, croissant, vleeswaren etc. Dat vind ik zeer misleidend. De tekst op de website hoort dan: onbeperkt brood en geen onbeperkt ontbijt. Pluspunt: zeer vriendelijk en hardwerkende medewerkers. Ik kom helaas niet meer terug.

Lekkere broodjes, en de beste tosti's van Amersfoort. Daarnaast goed aanbod van koekjes, gebak, en volledige broden.

Snel schakelende mensen, die een overheerlijk ontbijt op tafel hebben gezet. er was aan niets tekort.

A nice place for a tasty coffee and some good lunch or breakfast bites. Good service, however it sometimes takes significant time, not due to the number of staff, but mainly due to the level of untenured staff on certain days.
