BackWERK Venlo in Wijk 11 Venlo-Centrum

They charge a 10 cent packaging fee for the plastic cover used in some products, which is very annoying since other Backwerk stores simply offer their products as is.

Compared to the locations I know in Cologne, this one was seriously disappointing. Little selection. The sandwiches are good. The man at the counter didn't seem interested in working.

I bought a good to-go package to pick up between 6:00 and 6:15 PM. I arrived at the store just after 6:00 PM. Everything was dark and the doors were closed. It wasn't a lot of money, but I didn't offer it then.

The bakery with the most delicious salmon bagels in all of Holland. Hopefully your quality stays this good.

Only packaged stuff and everything overpriced

It's a place where you can get a relatively inexpensive meal (small snacks) and a cappuccino compared to nearby restaurants. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms leaves a lot to be desired! This is especially true later in the day. A quick clean and refill of towels wouldn't hurt...

Such a disrespectful employee. The employee yelled at the customer using the restroom. So, a customer can't use the restroom and has to defend themselves against someone screaming like crazy.

So disrespectful workers. Woman is here seriously shouting on customers. Zero respect. I can’t understand how these people can even work in shops! Worst service ever

Very good bakery a bit expensive

A very good selection of sandwiches and sweet pastries. The quality was fresh, and everything was neatly presented. Unlike other bakeries, there were also proper dishes for the hot drinks. All in all, one of the good bakeries and definitely recommended.

Beautiful place, very friendly staff, tasty food and very tasty coffee. Nice change compared to all the greasy food in the area.

I was going to Evert Thielen's exhibition and wanted to have lunch at Backwerk beforehand. There I bought a very fresh Kaiserbrötchen with cheese from a friendly lady and the bread was crispy and fresh with a layer of spread and cheese. Ate on the terrace.

Veryrrr bad and the employees are rude and unsympathetic😡.

Yesterday I bought a sandwich and halfway through the sandwich I had a very long hair in my mouth.

Spontaneously walked by. Great concept! Perfect when you're hungry and don't want to wait for anything.

Really really bad, and everything is so dirty! Especially the toilets. And bad staff! 🤮 I accidentally dropped my tray. Employees stood watching and no one helped. I had to clean everything up myself. I also had to pay for the cheese sandwich that had fallen on the floor and then I was shown the trash can where I could throw it in.. 😐

They have a great selection of pastries and snacks. I do like this type of cafe. I had a coffee and a strawberry croissant.

Tasty sandwiches. They also have quite a variety of vegetarian and vegans. Meat lovers won't be neglected either.

BackWERK shows that it is not difficult at all to sell a good product. It's just right, the concept, the sandwiches, the coffee and the friendly staff. All this in the center of the city at a very attractive price. Nice industrial design also in terms of interior. No, it's clear. This is a good concept.

Never had such bad service before, they make you pay for cardboard drinking cups that don't contain plastic, then you have to pay a deposit for the coke, but you don't get anything back from that nice lady with the big mouth.

As soon as the saleswoman noticed that we were German, she became very unfriendly!!!

Ok, the food is ready made, but still fresh, and the prices are very competitive. For the price of tosti in a next-door restaurant, you get a proper sandwich, coffee and a cookie.

Very bad. Mushroom soup tasted so bad that I stopped eating after 3 bites. Dry bun. Had a question, half an answer was given in a hurry.

Unhygienic and not really fresh, factory bakery, close before closing time, while you were rushing to be on time (8 minutes before closing time), employees were still present and I was chased away in a rude, arrogant manner.
