Van Leeuwen Bakery, not a baker, but a bread wizard. Van Leeuwen Bakery in Kerkdriel is no ordinary bakery. No, this is a place where you'd almost expect a magic wand to be passed over the dough before it goes into the oven. Everything that comes out of the oven here tastes as if it were made especially for you. The soft milk rolls are light, deliciously sweet, and stay surprisingly fresh for a long time. Perfect for breakfast or just plain. And the Drielse sausage rolls… yummy! The moment you open them, you taste pure joy. I usually only go there on weekends, but then I stock up for the whole week. Sometimes I even drive up and down from Brabant when I run out. Fortunately, some of the selection is also available on weekends at the Plus supermarket in Rossum and on Saturdays at the market in Zaltbommel, so even if you can't make it to Kerkdriel, you won't miss out on any of these delicacies. And then the currant bread with almond paste... let me tell you: this is seriously good stuff. Perfect for lunch or just as an excuse to treat yourself. The staff is friendly and professional, and the shop itself is well-organized, yet with such a wonderful aroma that you almost forget to look at the shelves and just want to grab everything. Highly recommended for anyone who loves truly good bread and pastries. Héérlijk gebak en taart, vooral de bananensoes is ongekend lekker en natuurlijk de beroemde Oetelbol. We zijn hier speciaal voor omgereden, we komen uit Rotterdam. Geweldig lekker en de moeite waard. Uiteindelijk willen we alles proberen! 5 sterren.

De appeltaart en roomboter cake zijn gewoon subliem. Wij rijden 1uur en driekwartier speciaal hiervoor. Is echt de moeite waard!

Goed brood. Vers, knapperig, goed gevuld. Nog nooit iets gehaald wat tegenviel. Vriendelijk personeel maakt het af.

Wat een heerlijk en lekker brood en gebak

Ik kom uit omgeving Den Bosch, maar ben nogal eens onderweg. Als ik in een dorp kom bezoek ik als ik tijd heb altijd de plaatselijke warme bakker om worstenbroodjes te proeven. Maar deze waren absoluut 5 sterren, beter zijn ze bijna niet te vinden, top!
