I had dinner and it was delicious. The restrooms were clean and accessible, and the staff was very friendly. You get your money's worth. Parking is free in front. The menu is very extensive, and I can definitely recommend this lunchroom! I had fries with regular mayonnaise, a croquette, and a Coke Zero. All together it was €9.30.

A truly fantastic place. I was greeted warmly by the staff behind the counter, and you can browse the menus in several places. The prices are reasonable, and the food was ready within 10 minutes. You can eat inside or outside, and it looks fantastic. It's clean, and the restrooms are well-maintained. Highly recommended!

I think it's a really great snack bar. The food is ready quickly, but it tastes like a lot of time has been put into it. I recently ate there with a friend, and he also loved it. The burgers are definitely worth a try; I think they're delicious. It's also very clean and a nice place. There's a great atmosphere and seating. In short, it's truly fantastic, definitely recommended!

After ordering by phone and calling, we still had to wait an hour for our order after the estimated delivery time of about 30 minutes. After delivery, we received cold, wet fries in a separate bag, and the croquettes exploded. In short, we will definitely never order from them again. We hope other customers have better luck.

The food was good! The tables were dirty, and the toilets were filthy and old!

Waited an hour and a half for a cold order. The fries with onion were missing the onion, the egg and bacon burger were missing the egg, the bacon, and basically everything except the (deeply dry) burger, which was drowned in sauce. When you call, you're fobbed off because the delivery drivers are busy, and Bakhuus doesn't offer a suitable solution. It was the first and last time we ordered from them.

Legendary snacks. The burgers are way too big; I couldn't finish them after 30 minutes. Legendary owners, always friendly. Above all, the best snack bar in Veenendaal (and the Netherlands). After a long time, I went back to this place. This time even better. The new menu item "fries with pulled chicken" is highly recommended; large portions and very tasty. A real 10/10.

Today I bought a hamburger special, fries, and two snacks at this snack bar for quite a bit of money. Judging by the photo, it was a plain hamburger. I tried to make something out of it with mayonnaise, but it was impossible. I called to complain and was treated poorly. Then I called again, and they kept repeating it was a hamburger special. After two calls and no resolution, I left. They'll never see me again! This hamburger was WITHOUT sauce, not even underneath, as you mentioned in your response, "a plain hamburger." I asked you for a solution during the first phone call and called you a second time for a solution. No, we did NOT eat it, but as mentioned during our second phone call and judging by the photos of the food, it ended up in the dog bowl.

Everything was dirty, no table clean. If you say politely that the tables are dirty, they look at you like I don't understand you. After 15 minutes with 1 cloth without soap, they were cleaned. So bad before it was neat and friendly. We won't come again

The bag with the food tore in front of the door because of the rain. One container of food fell open at the front door, the other was still completely intact. The delivery person immediately called his boss and said a new one was arriving. The owner came back with the order new and complete with 2 dishes. A really great cafeteria, and the food was great. The burgers are highly recommended!

I ordered via home delivery. Food was not delivered at stated time, had to wait an extra half hour for order. Then wrong order delivered. Returned order and requested money back. With this service you will not see me again.

Childishness at its finest! Recently placed an order, at checkout I showed a savings card that would then be full. The savings card was no longer valid and belonged to the previous owner of the business, I was unfriendly informed. It was also said that the previous owner had treated the current owner unfairly or something to that effect. With a company takeover, there are also the benefits and costs, I suggested... But no, the owner stood his ground, I canceled the order, which is a pity (again) one less customer...

Ate on site, dirtier table. Fries limp and not hot, hamburger sandwich where you can taste the old fat, in short, last time...

Not what it used to be. Food is fine, but the last few times I haven't gotten what I ordered. Can't understand or are too busy doing everything at once. Only 3 hamburger buns. Only missing the top of the bun. Another time I ordered berehap peanut and got berehap with curry and 1 without sauce. After the 3rd time I called again, but in my opinion they were not answered properly and they did not offer a solution. Luckily enough snack bars in Veenendaal!

Sitting at a table waiting or helping you after fifteen minutes, still seeing no one. You are waiting at the counter and they act as if they don't even see you. If taking an order is still too much work then I don't know what is!!

Very customer unfriendly snack bar. We ordered and indicated that we wanted to eat on site. That was fine, so we paid and were able to take a seat at a table. The owner later comes to us to say that the order we place (family promotion) does not include any extra 'service' and that we are not allowed to eat the order inside and that it was an error by the employee. We then receive the food in paper bags. Never experienced anything like this before. The discount for the promotion was around 2 euros, so it is very special that that is too high for extra 'service' ... logical that there was no one else at a table. Not nice to end a day at the residential boulevard like this.

Service really terrible, they all have benches where you are apparently not allowed to eat your fries. If you get the whole mess home, it will also be soggy, disgusting fries.

I order 2 hot meat special sandwiches without egg with mushrooms and onion, which cost me 19! Euro for payment. The moment I ask why this is so pricey, the answer comes: “It's the same at McDonalds.” It's a shame that this is being exploited like this, because it is a beautiful thing. For me it was the last time I went.

Sundae ice cream was tasty, service friendly, but the place is nothing at all. The shopping boulevard of Veenendaal is not the right place.

Wonderful place to have something to eat after a day at the Ouwehands zoo, and a visit to various hardware stores on the way back. Would also not look out of place in Cruqius on the furniture boulevard.

The allergen card had to be found. "I've never looked into that before!" It was then clear that I did not need to inquire about the allergens in the salads (which were not in the folder). There is neat one-way traffic, unless friends come to visit. Then the side door can suddenly be opened and people can cuddle without paying attention to the distance with other customers. The food is fine. Large portions and nice and hot. Staff are friendly. Unfortunately the toilet cannot be locked.

Nice to have something to eat between shopping. Food is tasty, it looks neat. You will be given a timer so that you can pick up your food when it is ready.
