Arrival 5:30 PM. Very bad service. We ordered drinks and later (6:00 PM) food because they did not have time to come earlier to take the order. This took half an hour before we could order our food and we still had not received our drinks. We were there with 2-year-old twins and a 9-year-old child. After 1 hour (6:30 PM) we got 1 pancake and that was it. 9 year old child finished it and the rest of us could only watch how it tasted. After asking a few times, we didn't receive our spareribs until 7:25 PM. The twins had fries with chicken nuggets together, which we also asked about several times, but they never got them again. After a day in Hellendoorn, imagine that you can quickly eat something and drive home before the children fall asleep in the car. The staff (mother with 2 daughters) were also often arguing in the shop, which all guests could enjoy. Spare ribs were also tough. Checkout 7:45 PM. OUTRAGEOUS!

Had a family party in the room next to the snack bar. The space is quite small for a large family, especially if there are many small children present. Actually, only the beer was tasty. I found the buffet, which consisted of fries, spare ribs, chicken legs and some fried snacks, very unsatisfactory.

Had annual drinks with former colleagues. Excellent buffet and good service. Of course, we largely determined the atmosphere ourselves.

Very nice service and delicious food. We had the ribs and wings with fries and salad for €22. It was enough for the three of us (1 adult + 2 children).

We visited the restaurant after we were not pleased with the food at the nearby amusement park. Since we didn't speak Dutch, we initially had difficulty understanding the menu when we found an all-you-can-eat option. Not a classic buffet but a hot plate with different dishes that you can order as you wish. And it was very good?! It had a similar price to the most expensive dish on the menu (a grill plate) €28.50 and for €5 more drinks were included and for another additional charge dessert was included but we didn't claim that. We ate and drank extensively and the selection was fantastic, spare ribs, chicken wings, schnitzel, meatballs, chicken skewers, fries, with mayo and satay sauce (peanut). And everything was perfect?! Tasty and fresh. As a former catering worker, it is a mystery to me how such a combination is logistically possible. But it works. I was very happy about the spare ribs, which are quite complex and not successful in my home area. The fries were excellently crispy. Even without all-you-can-eat, the portions seemed large. A real insider tip. Minimal criticism: The raw vegetable salad was negligible, vegetarian options are very limited and probably due to the language barrier there was a few confusion with the order but the employees are still very friendly and familiar. Highly recommended.

Went here after we visited the Hellendoorn adventure park. Very friendly staff despite the crowds. They also took our requests into account; e.g. no salt. All in all, good food and a great place to stop by after a long day at the Hellendoorn adventure park.

Had dinner here with my daughters yesterday and it was really great. The food was tasty and the service friendly. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!

We had dinner here in the cafeteria section with 2 families. We were allowed to sit outside at the large tables and received excellent and very friendly service. Very good advice about quantities and thinking along with the menus to choose. great. Definitely come back here next time in Hellendoorn!

Don't expect miracles in the cafeteria, it is a standard chip shop. Not bad, but certainly not great. Family benefit take out menu is a good deal. Food: we had a family takeaway with extra snacks and fries. The fries were crispy, but not from fresh potatoes. Snacks the same and the stew is "ok". Service and atmosphere are good, it was a bit busy behind the counter and the terrace was quite full. Despite our takeaway menu, we were allowed to sit for a while, which was nice with a long walk and return journey ahead of us.

We went there spontaneously with 15 people without a reservation. The service was very nice and welcomed us despite the restaurant being quite busy Organized a table. The food was really good and we arrived at the table quickly. We'd love to come back!

If you are in the area, it is great to have a nice bite to eat. I didn't think the prices were very cheap, as was repeated in the other reviews. A sandwich with mushrooms and bacon on 'standard' bread cost €13. That is slightly more expensive than the average I encounter. Furthermore, it was fine, nice staff and a quiet place. The restaurant 'belongs' to the snack bar, but the menu shows nothing from the snack bar... That's a shame because the hamburger sandwiches looked good. Could not be ordered on the terrace.

Food in this place is always good. The food is very tasty and the staff serving is very friendly and always very attentive. 100% recommended!

It was my first time in Hellendorn. Very cozy and cute there. I really liked the cafe. I didn't eat anything there, so I can't comment on the food. But cappuccino was tasty and not expensive

We ordered one war fries, two Pooled Pork sandwiches, and one shawarma sandwich. We didn't even get the Shawarma sandwich! Even though we paid for it! The Pooled Pork sandwich was also wet, hence this bad review. Please don't make this mistake again. Otherwise you will have lost a loyal customer

Ming is a super sweet hostess and makes the most delicious fries in Hellendoorn

A nice café in the village of Hellendoorn with a clear menu. I recommend taking a fork here if you are in the area. The choice can be simple for fries and a cheese soufflé or more complicated with a more extensive menu. Drinks well priced! We are served very friendly! It should be busier here on Fridays, this restaurant is definitely worth it!

The food was a bit disappointing and there was a small vase on each table with I think it was supposed to represent a flower, but it was so faded that I could no longer distinguish between a sprig of weeds or a flower.

Hier einen Zwischenstopp bei unserer Fahrradtour gemacht- sehr leckeren Kuchen gegessen.

De eigenaresse van het Bakhuis is een vrolijke vrouw die haar gasten graag wil verwennen. Ik nam een heerlijke bananen taart met 2 cappuccino's. Op het terras was het goed toeven, er heerst een goede en gezellige sfeer. Veel fietsers en wandelaars stoppen bij het Bakhuis om koffie of een lunch te nuttigen.Ik kom zeker weer terug.

Hele lekkere patat, erg goede loempia en heel vriendelijke bediening!

Eten is goed én de service is prima. De sfeer is oké en die maak je gedeeltelijk zelf.

Lekker terras waar het gezellig zitten is. Eten was prima met misschien iets te royaal saus op de maaltijdsalade. Bediening heel vriendelijk.

Wij kwamen hier langs met het lopen van het Pieterpad. Hier even wat gedronken. Erg aardig en ijverig personeel.

Snackbars die diepvries hamburgers in de frituur gooien zullen nooit toppers zijn of worden. De alleraardigste mensen maken dat je er ondanks de zeer middelmatige kwaliteit (patat is goedkope fabrieksfriet) toch nog terug komt.

Frisdrankje gedronken. Drankjes worden willekeurig op de tafel gezet. Geen ijs in de tonic.
