Always good food and a nice restaurant!

Very tasty all-you-can-eat buffet concept! Everything is very fresh!!

Even though I don't like the all-you-can-eat concept, it was surprisingly good.

It just remains super good; I've been multiple times and it never disappoints. The sushi is truly delicious, which is a real exception at all-you-can-eat restaurants. The staff is also top-notch; they all work incredibly hard and are always friendly. 10 stars if it were possible!

Unfortunately, our visit to this buffet restaurant was very disappointing. We had to wait a very long time everywhere because the lines at almost all dining stations were long. As a result, we could not simply stay for about two hours, as we had planned, but had to stay much longer to get enough food. Additionally, we found the staff at the fish grill, which was Chinese, to be very unfriendly. The employee had a bad and rude attitude towards us, which made the experience even less pleasant. Unfortunately, we also did not find the food itself particularly good. Given the long wait times, the unfriendly service, and the quality of the food, we do not consider it really worth the price and the time. We had expected more and, unfortunately, would not be coming back here anytime soon.

Tasty dishes and well organized.

It was incredibly busy/full when we arrived. First, there was a long line in front of the entrance, then the table meant for us was occupied and we had to wait a while for a new table. Due to the crowds, we were unable to finish what we wanted within 2 hours... very long lines which took a lot of time. Compared to other international restaurants, I didn't like the wok either. I always order soy sauce/garlic sauce, but it didn't have much flavor. Furthermore, we had empty containers several times. A shame. Apart from that, the food we did have tasted good. For a restaurant that is so busy, my children and I also found the play area disappointing. The tablets were all off too, so there was basically nothing to do.... All in all, it was a letdown for us. It wasn't worth the money.

Good food for an all-you-can-eat. The spaces are well laid out, so it doesn't feel like a mass experience.

We had a good meal for an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant. Sitting as a group of four is also quite cozy; the acoustics were perfect, not a reverberating "food factory." The sushi, sashimi, and oysters were delicious. The wok and grill dishes were all good too, with plenty of choice. The dessert buffet also offered a wide selection, from cold desserts and chocolate fountains to warm pastel de natas. It was busy, but service was good! One point of attention: at the drinks (tap) bar, it might be better to have an employee stand at the alcoholic side.

We went out for dinner at the Sallandse Berg with 8 people. We have been coming there for years, but this time we went after having pointed out very often in the past that the quality is no longer what it used to be. Wilted chicory, and other vegetables that weren't replenished or were still completely raw. Meat that is deep-fried more with oil sprayed over it - yuck. A buffet that has been sitting there for too long. Dessert section 1 is a complete mess. The batter for the mini pancakes is just sitting next to the griddle and isn't put in the fridge. I've already experienced the batter being spoiled there, as well as fish and steak. Raw meat and cooked meat are handled with the same tongs. Bottles of drinks run out so you have to drink Coke or Fanta, etc., etc. The big boss knows all of this but does nothing about it. In fact, it has gotten even worse! We thought about giving it another try after a long time, but what a disappointment. All new cooks. Not a word of Dutch and they have no understanding of preparing meat. We had wanted to stay for 3 hours, but left quickly after 2. 42.50 per person lighter and richer for a very bad experience.

What you can expect from an all-you-can-eat bunker 😉 Quantity over quality. The sushi was good, but the grilled meat was of mediocre quality. Rarely have I had such a tough sirloin steak (with a lot of fat) and a piece of tough venison. The sauces with the grill (mushroom, wine sauce, etc.) are really not tasty; they are a kind of thickened sugar with cornstarch. The desserts are good. The wok is also decent! The restaurant is neat, huge, and the staff is very attentive to empty plates: they are already being cleared away by the last bite 😜

5 Stars, a solid 10! All the food was good, hot when it needed to be hot, cold when it needed to be cold. A few things weren't to our taste, but they can't do anything about that. There were no items that were dirty or poorly prepared. Good selection of food, something for everyone (vegetarian a bit less, but that's not a problem). Sufficiently friendly service, and the restaurant looked very neat as well. The only downside (not for us) might be that there isn't a "large" children's play area.

2026; we went here for dinner after a visit to the visitor center; we were there at 4 p.m. Everything was freshly prepared and of very good quality! After that, it got very busy, but the quality remained good, although there was a longer wait for the wok, etc. The play area was small but still okay. Tasty food and many choices made up for this! 2024; We were on vacation in Hoge Hexel and decided to choose this all-inclusive restaurant this time. We really enjoyed it. Good food, nicely fried, and a great selection of salads, cold starters, hot main courses, tasty fresh sushi, and desserts. The children had fun playing in the small indoor playground and with a choice of tablets.

Truly an exceptionally good restaurant. Something for everyone. Of good quality.

It was our first time here and it was a very nice experience. A warm welcome, friendly staff, and a huge selection of food. It is just that it is so far from home, otherwise we would certainly have gone back.

It's okay, but I'm more of a waitstaff person.

A successful birthday with the whole family Our mother wanted to celebrate her birthday with her children and therefore treated us to a lovely dinner at the all-inclusive restaurant De Sallandse Berg. We were there on a warm Saturday evening in July. It was quite summery outside, but fortunately, the temperature inside was very pleasant. We had made a reservation and checked in at the front desk. Afterward, we were politely escorted to our table. The hostess kindly asked if we wanted a tour. Some family members had been here before, so that wasn't necessary, but it was nice that it was offered. After our mother had unwrapped her presents, we went to see what was on the menu. The buffet is spacious. Around the buffet, you will find various soups, a wide selection of sushi, fried dishes, and a very extensive dessert bar, among other things. In the center, there are several stations where meat, fish, vegetables, and wok dishes are prepared fresh for you. I started with a vegetable soup and then chose a tasty, spicy wok dish. Later, I also tried venison steak, pepper steak, and fish. Everything was prepared on the spot. The bigger eaters in our family went back for another round without any problem, including for the sirloin steak. You can simply go back if you want to try something else. That also makes it fun to order small portions and sample different dishes. You can get a drink yourself at the drinks cooler, and there is also a coffee machine. As a result, no one has to wait long, and everyone can plan their evening at their own pace. When I heard that fresh poffertjes were also being baked, I naturally had to try them. With ice cream and fresh fruit on the side, it was a very tasty dessert. The choice of desserts is truly enormous. A wide selection of pastries, ice cream, fruit, and much more. It is almost impossible to try everything during a single visit. For a family birthday, this was a very successful evening. There is plenty of choice for different tastes, and even the big eaters are well catered for. We came here to celebrate our mother's birthday, but for a future family occasion, we would certainly consider De Sallandse Berg again.

Mediocre all-inclusive restaurant. It was okay. Staff behind the grill rather surly and uninterested. The sirloin steak was cut open to check if it was done enough.

A super cozy and beautifully decorated restaurant, friendly service, and very tasty dishes. Everything also looks super hygienic. Such as clean water at the ice cream scoop, clean water in the wok pan, clean floor, clean toilets. Many wok or wok restaurants could take a leaf out of their book. I wish I had such a world restaurant in my hometown, but unfortunately, that's not the case.

What a wonderful experience here. Everything was excellently taken care of and the quality of the food was truly beyond expectations. We especially enjoyed the varied selection, such as the beautifully presented sushi with the soy sauce. The grilled prawns were also very flavorful. We will certainly be back here soon for a delicious meal.

Overall, it is the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in the area. Particularly in the sushi department, where a lady named Sasha works is so customer-friendly and professional. Highly recommended for anyone who loves sushi.

By far the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in the wider region

We had dinner here last night with children and grandchildren, for the first time after the renovation. The restaurant is laid out a bit more spaciously, but the concept has remained the same. The quality is really good, but what we did find a pity is that they put very large pieces of meat on the grill or griddle; we all like to try a bit of everything, but the larger pieces make that difficult. But it is certainly worth repeating. We ate here again with daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren; it was delicious again, though I did get the impression that the stir-fry sauces are different, less vibrant in terms of taste, and the play area for children is smaller.

You can eat and drink all kinds of things there. It is unlimited for a few hours. The atmosphere is very cozy.

Everything was perfect, except the young asian guy at the seafood teppanyaki was really rude. I felt like I had to beg for food. When I had to ask him how much shrimp and fish I wanted, he made a very unpleasant face. So I want to say: if you don’t like service work, then just do something else that doesn’t require dealing with customers. And it not the first time. Last time was in October 2025 also the same guy that behave the same way.

You simply won't find a better buffet restaurant. Every dish goes down easily. The sushi, among other things, has improved even more compared to years ago. I've been here so many times and will definitely visit again. The staff is always hardworking and friendly. It is a must to go out for dinner here!

All-you-can-eat restaurant, was very tasty and cozy. The downside is that there are very few charging points for electric cars. They have 4 charging points out of the 200 parking spaces. A SHAME. Otherwise fine, and had a nice chat.

This is the best all-you-can-eat place we know. We always eat here when we are in the area. It is exceptionally good and the restaurant was recently completely renovated. Highly recommended!

At 5 PM on a Saturday it was quiet, but half an hour later there were long lines at the grill, wok, and sushi. The sushi was made fresh and was very tasty. The selection of meats on the grill was extensive. However, it seemed as if the same seasonings were used for every piece of meat. I never saw the trays of preheated food empty for a single moment.

You can eat all kinds of things in these kinds of restaurants and there is plenty to choose from. Many people will find it fantastic because it was extremely busy. There is also plenty of parking space. I didn't think the food was really great. Especially the items cooked on the grill; there was a long wait and the meat wasn't cooked properly, it was very tough. We didn't finish that either, which is a shame of course.

Ate here yesterday with my brother and his wife for his birthday, with a group of 9 people. Plenty of choices, it was very good. Definitely worth doing again.

Friendly and helpful staff members. But there was no Grolsch 2.0 left. We thought that was a bad thing, and as early as 6:00 PM. We were told we had to drink the other one instead. That wasn't polite. But otherwise, great.

It is a nice location; first a walk on the Sallandse Heuvelrug and then delicious, well-prepared unlimited food. Wonderful, wonderful. And if you are well-filled afterwards, you can go for the children's walking route. All in all, we had a great afternoon/evening.

For an all-you-can-eat, the dishes are of very good quality. Beautiful sushi, good grilled meat and fish dishes, delicious desserts, and also tasty traditional Chinese and wok. The atmosphere/ambiance is fine. It is busy and noisy, though. Great for groups, e.g., friends, family, or a sports club, because you get your own food each time and then sit down at a different spot at your table; it's more fun than a fixed table arrangement.

We had an absolutely delicious meal here yesterday! The all-you-can-eat concept ensures there's something for everyone. The meat from the grill and griddle was excellent quality and exceptionally flavorful. Highly recommended! We live in South Limburg ourselves, otherwise we would definitely come back more often 😉

We were here for the first time. It was very busy. Our table still needed to be cleared from the previous diners. The staff was very friendly and cleaned everything up quickly and neatly. The food was delicious. Good sushi and good meat. Because of the crowds, it did have a bit of a "food shack" feel.

The tenderloin tips were tough, otherwise the food was excellent.

We had a delicious meal here with our camping neighbors. All-you-can-eat food, including drinks. The selection is huge, including fried or stir-fried meat, fish, shellfish, and vegetables. Pizza, salad buffet, a large selection of sushi, soup, and snacks. And a delicious dessert buffet.

The atmosphere is good, the staff is very friendly, but honestly, I've never eaten meat of such low quality. It could be that I was just unlucky, but the very long drive meant I couldn't try it a second time. If you're planning to eat here on a weekend, two hours really isn't long enough. And we're not big eaters; it's simply the long lines and the crowds. You can easily wait 25 minutes for a piece of meat.

It's average food, with only the table being cleared quickly, but no special dishes. It's more like frozen food being sold. Definitely not worth the money; you can find much more comfortable seating at other restaurants for the same price. Definitely not recommended.

This is truly one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants. Incredibly delicious food, a wide selection at all the buffets, and wonderful desserts. Friendly staff.

Before the renovation (December 2024), it was already quite good, but now it's truly improved. The atmosphere is incredibly pleasant; despite being busy, it never feels crowded or crowded in the cozy and inviting rooms with comfortable chairs. Plenty of space around the tables allows for privacy during conversations and prevents jostling for space. In addition to the many meat and fish dishes and wok dishes, they now also offer a wide variety of delicious warm vegetables, such as chicory gratiné, cauliflower gratiné, bean roll with bacon, etc. Fresh warm vegetables are something you find in fewer and fewer restaurants! The dessert buffet is incredibly extensive and delicious. 8-10 types of ice cream, beautiful pastries, lots of fresh fruit, you name it. Sushi lovers (which I'm not) will certainly enjoy the magnificent, large sushi buffet. In short, a visit is highly recommended, all-inclusive; you know exactly what you'll pay. Food, drinks, latte, cappuccino, coffee, tea afterward, all included. In fact, everything is truly perfect quality, service, and selection! There's only one tiny drawback I can mention: the very friendly welcome is perfect Dutch, but none of the chefs speak Dutch. They understand almost only the dishes you order, so extensive consultations about dietary requirements will be difficult. Although they certainly have everything and are willing to accommodate, communication in Romanian, for example, will be difficult ;-) Still, 5 stars because the food tastes so good and everything is simply top-notch!

Vnv had a nice time wokking with the in-laws in Nijverdal, it turned out nice after the renovation, I hadn't been there for a while, only 1 small point, the children's corner was very small and I was disappointed and those toy vending machines are in the children's corner

What a great restaurant. With lots of fresh ingredients. And what a choice. The staff is very customer friendly. We were here with 30 people and were assigned a nice corner. Due to the new interior reasonably quiet. Top!!

Bavette is served there, they say. But it is just a rib steak. The structure is clearly shredded meat and not bavette. Furthermore, all the meat is turned over with the same tongs. This does not seem very good to me. Especially for people with allergies. Desserts were meager and what happened to the bowl of strawberries, as if someone had stepped on them. Nothing was refilled. But people can sit until 22:00. Too bad, but I don't think we will be back here anytime soon

Delicious food. But what a disappointment that the children's area has become so much smaller and duller after the renovation. We had expected a lot from this but it is 3x nothing. It was so ideal with children.

Delicious and varied food from different countries of the world. Friendly and motivated staff. There is plenty of choice and is constantly replenished. You can also have something prepared at the frying wall and it is made quickly and deliciously. I think it is great. We like to come here.
