Bakker Bart Weert in Wijk 11 Weert-Centrum

It's a place that sells delicious food and fresh pastries, but the problem is that they're xenophobic, something I've experienced before. Today I had a terrible experience. The blue-eyed woman didn't smile at me because I'm Muslim and acted like it was my fault. Later, I waited and saw how she behaved towards other customers. This is truly sad, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it. Discrimination is everywhere.

My meatball satay sandwich was missing ingredients...there was also a small puddle accident with a child in the middle of the store, but the lady refused to clean it up, causing all the customers to walk right through it. She only came back with a mop after a few minutes, and one of the shop assistants had incredibly long nails...yuck ...great place!🤮

Bread is pushed into the bag and if you say anything about it you are looked at angrily.

I have rarely been treated so poorly by store employees. I think they should ask themselves whether they wouldn't be better off looking for other work.

One star is too much for the service. The sandwich was okay, but not a proper grilled sausage sandwich. The mint tea was a glass of boiled water with a sprig of mint. Definitely not recommended. Answering questions felt like searching your brain (rolling your eyes). It was a cringeworthy experience.

Too bad, the service here is incredibly poor. Waiting 10 minutes with your children, only to be told at 5 p.m. that they'd turn off the microwave and can't heat them up anymore. A 9-to-5 mentality. There was no one there, and you could have reported this 10 minutes earlier when you arrived.

Horrible woman behind the right-hand counter. A hospitality course wouldn't hurt her. She doesn't make eye contact with customers at all, so she simply doesn't know or see who's eating there. After I ordered two sandwiches, ate them there with my partner, and after 15 minutes, asked for the bathroom key, she asked in a rather disrespectful manner if I'd eaten there... The tone alone was disgusting! Dear lady, if I paid almost €13 for two sandwiches, I can easily spare that one euro (filthy bathroom). Upon returning to the table, I even heard from other customers that she does it often, not good publicity. Hospitality isn't for everyone, but I won't spend another cent here ;-)

Asked for a kind of cheese pretzel, but got something with sugar and almond. When I tell the seller, I am told several times that it is really cheese. Even the (baker) is called and tells me that it is really cheese. I am not crazy, I can taste the difference between cheese and almond/sugar.

Food is ok, but the workers are very slow, grumpy and impolite. You need to wait crazy time on the line every time…

they sell old (hard as crack) donuts. I don't have time to drive and send them back, but I don't recommend it

My mother and I wanted to end our beautiful get-together with a cup of tea and coffee. My mother was asked to get the tea bag at the other counter. My mother, an old woman who did not understand it well and ordered a second cup of hot water. We were reprimanded for not having to order tea in 2 places "Now we are left with 2 cups of "tea!!!" Yep. Unfortunately we also have less experience. Big made small. Had to wait a long time because the lady thought sweeping away crumbs was more important than helping customers. Yes, it was a bit busier, but that's why that young girl with the dark curls had to run from left to right In the end she helped us tremendously!! Yes, madam with the broom. You stated yourself. Lady with a broom is busy cleaning. Get rid of that person if you get so many complaints...

Nice place for a nice coffee and cake or a delicious lunch......recommended.

What nasty experiences we had here. My husband went there once and was helped by 3 people. It was complete chaos that day, he had paid properly and was then approached by an employee, he indicated that he had paid properly, he was not believed, the colleague to whom he had paid was also not believed by this lady . Fortunately, he had pinned his card and had to show his overview. Today we made another attempt after a long time, I asked at 5 pm what time they were open, the answer was until half past six, but you can only sit until 5.15 pm, because we are already cleaning up and we want to go home on time. When ordering a panini, it was not possible, because the machine had already been cleaned AT 5 PM, while they close at 5.30 PM. I really wonder why the store is open until 5:30 PM. We did not feel welcome here at all. Never again for Bakker Bart in Weert.

Nice place, good food and nice staff

This really is the saddest baker Bart ever. If you buy a baguette instead of a bar, you pay one euro more. So far so good, but decent investing hurts them. 1 baguette contains 1 omelette (same amount as a bar), 1 slice of cheese (same as a bar) and 1 slice of bacon, which they cut into 2 small slices for convenience so that it looks like there are 2 on it. So I ask: isn't it crazy, bigger sandwich but the same minimum investment as a bar. The answer: “yes ma'am, we have to stick to the book”. And so the Baker Bart Weert (go do an internship for a week in Roermond or something) is the BIGGEST KNAKENPOETSER when it comes to sandwiches.

15 minutes before closing time. They don't serve bread and are they closed on Mondays and Sundays? so ridiculous.

A must visit. Not only when hungry, but also for cake 🍰, vlaai and all the other nice tasty, high quality product for a reasonable price. So don’t miss Bakker Bart Weert and drop by, when you are in the neighborhood off Weert. Btw, also try de “worstenbroodjes” and “ saucijzenbroodjes”.

Good coffee and tasty sandwiches...and the second cup is free if you walk to the counter with your own cup...so never a disappointment.

Today we were helped very unfriendly by a woman. I ordered a salad, and I am ALWAYS asked if I would like the sauce separately. After very clumsily tossing the salad in, this woman starts spraying it with sauce as if her life depends on it. The lettuce was no longer visible. I indicate that this is way too much sauce and that I normally get the sauce loose. According to her they NEVER do that?!? She then immediately starts clumsily wiping the sauce off the salad with a NAPKIN! It was one big mess, I asked if she seriously wanted to give it to me like that. She says "what do you think, I'm going to throw it away and make it again because there's too much sauce on it?". I don't think I've ever been treated like this in a deli/lunchroom before.

Went there to get some lunch. Although it was very busy, the service was fast. Employees were very polite. The place has a lot of options: bread, panini’s, pastries, cake… and if you like to try Dutch pastries like ‘frikandelbroodje’ or ‘saucijzenbroodje’, they also have that. The only thing I can mention that could be better was that not all tables were very clean, but overall good experience.

Always a nice cup of coffee with sausage rolls. Prepared with love by the ladies.

My wife and I wanted to eat something at your branch in Weert. 14.00 hours. (couldn't find this branch in the drop-down menu). 1.they only had 1 panini sandwich left. 2. Iced coffee was not available or we would have to wait 20 minutes. 3. To top it all off, I did not get the deposit for our bottles back. In short, never again

Special handling of affairs. Ordered 2 sandwiches and the person who made them was interfering with my sandwiches. "No, I really wouldn't do that" & "What a crazy combination, that's not tasty at all" Then she didn't want to accept my voucher because the sandwich was already on sale and I would be better off spending it another time. Once we arrived home, the sandwich was wrong and the person in question had still done what he/she wanted.

I waited in line for far too long before my sandwich was ready. 1 someone made them during the holiday season. Many negative reactions from the people in line. Sandwich delicious again!

To be very honest, I haven't had such a tasty sandwich in a long time! Fresh sandwich, toppings,... we happened to stop because we were hungry. You will definitely see us come back!! Keep up the good work!

Years ago, the ladies were really great... However, I went again today, but what a disappointment the fresh sandwiches have become... Breakfast sandwiches are so small compared to Bakker Bart in Roermond and Echt. Clearly not the same owner anymore, too bad.

I have never received such poor service as at the bakery Bart in Weert. The staff is racist and this is 2019. It's outrageous how they can make you wait half an hour for a cup of coffee and then make excuses that some people were there before! Scandalous tent.

With full conviction I think this is one of the worst bakery barts that exist. Although I have no problem with a bakery run by children, I do think that the bakery shows this. The service is bad, whoever shouts first is the first to be helped, the vegetarian pizza is heated up together with the social ice cream sandwich, which gives you a very bad smell/taste combination and if you want to say something about this you will be kicked out of the place!

Tasty sandwiches but lousy customer service! Full savings cards without an expiry date are suddenly no longer valid and nothing can be done with them. Too bad, missed opportunity.
