Bakkerij Broekmans in Wijk 11 Weert-Centrum

They have Limburg bakery products. I just went there for the first time today, and the Limburg black plum pie is deliciously fresh. The German sourdough bread is also delicious. I also grabbed a croissant to eat right away; it could have been a bit fresher at 10 in the morning. The downside was the employee. She wasn't interested, spoke in such a soft, disinterested tone that I couldn't hear a word. And you weren't greeted by anyone, even though I politely said good morning.

Bought a piece of pie on Saturday afternoon. Service was below par. We were not greeted or spoken to upon entering. Only after a while an older lady came to us with great reluctance. Very grumpy and unfriendly to customers. Short and not helpful. We will never come here again.

### Formal and Extensive Review of Bakkerij Broekmans in Weert On Wednesday, after a Google search, I decided to visit Bakkerij Broekmans in Weert. The slogan "Long Live Lekker" and the attractive appearance of the store created high expectations. With this positive first impression, I ordered a baguette, despite the hefty price. My expectation was that the quality and freshness of the bread would justify this price. Unfortunately, the reality was different. The baguette didn't seem to be from that day; it had a spongy texture and tasted like it was from the previous day. In addition, the filling was disappointing. The baguette was only thinly topped with chicken salad and contained only a single tomato. This experience was in stark contrast to my expectations. For a comparable price, or even less, an average gas station offers a crispy, fresh baguette that is much better in quality. Considering that Bakkerij Broekmans is a renowned bakery, one can expect a higher standard of freshness and quality. The experience with the baguette has significantly reduced my confidence in their other products, such as the cakes that look attractive. I did not dare to taste these cakes, for fear of a similar disappointment. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend Bakkerij Broekmans. The quality of the baguette did not meet the expectations created by the presentation and pricing. I don't recommend future customers ordering from here unless the bakery significantly improves the quality of their products.

Just got a healthy sandwich, paid €5.15! I felt that it was soft baguette and therefore not crunchy as it should be!! When I said something about it, the answer was that it was supposed to be baked, it was 14.oou but she had also felt it, she said and it was good!! Then this is my last bread here, I said, to which her response was...that's good. Very customer friendly but not really!! Oh yes, I threw away more than half of the sandwich.

Get my sandwiches here a few times a week. Delicious and good service. I am always helped quickly and the ingredients are always fresh. Healthy chicken sandwich is highly recommended

Never come here again...wait half an hour for a sandwich while a whole row of customers after me just got their sandwich pretty quickly. Only to arrive home after waiting half an hour to discover that the sandwich is still not as it should be. I didn't finish half of it and what was left was really minimally invested. Bad. Frozen sausage roll and stood there waiting for 15 minutes before it was ready. And burnt completely dark and the sausage was still frozen. And you pay the top price. Also received frozen bread.

Called for a sandwich, it would be ready within 5 minutes. Then waited half an hour in the store. 4 or 5 times I have seen an order that was ordered pass by before me. Only to be told in the end that it is not possible, because the microwave is "broken" (could have been in the oven a long time ago). Then I get a snap from an employee named Linda that it's not their fault. Left without a sandwich after waiting 40 minutes. Amateurish! In any case, they have lost a regular customer because of the behavior of the employees.

Pie is not to be enjoyed. Dry and seems to have been in the display case for a year. Wasted money. Every now and then I also get a toktok sandwich that has become terribly expensive and of which 1/4 part of the bread simply has to be eaten dry because it contains no less than 4 chicken nuggets. Bread is also always dry and far too little sauce. And that 4.25 I might as well have thrown in the sink. Where is scabs????

Discovered the bakery Broekmans by chance while we were shopping in the area. We bought the Kruisbessenvlaai (gooseberries and meringue) there and loved it. Very tasty and very good price for the quality.

Got a plum special pie. Thought I had something special but the layer of plum was minimal, it couldn't have been thinner and you could hardly taste it. What a difference with baker Korsten!
