The worst thing about getting something to eat, and when you go to the toilet you immediately lose your appetite, disgusting.

It took a little while for the food to arrive, but I understand that, because you always have to warm things up for a bit. The sandwich was tasty though. Going here for breakfast would actually be nice and tasty. I saw the person making my sandwich quickly snack on the sandwich, which I thought was a bit weird, but it didn't bother me much. To finish off, I thought the food was good. I recommend it if you just like healthy sandwiches.

Delicious sandwiches with friendly staff

The panini was not crispy, but chewy, and the tomato overpowered the ordered spicy chicken, of which there was little trace. The tuna salad sandwich was chewy and also contained too little tuna but too much onion; it tasted more like a frikadel speciaal. The entire decor, especially the chairs, looked as if it had been due for replacement 10 years ago.

Man, what a genuinely bad place this has become. All the chairs inside are peeling; they should have been replaced 2 years ago. The owner sits outside smoking every day and sometimes even drinking beer. I think that looks terrible for the business. On top of that, ordering is a nightmare too. There are 2 cash registers with absolutely no system for serving customers. Everyone just stands around looking around wondering when they will be served. Eventually, you get served by a girl who would rather watch TikTok than prepare your order. Finally, after half an hour, you get your food, and the panini is totally soggy and looks like everything was just thrown on top. I am sick and tired of this place; I am not coming back.

Waited for a while, even though it was quiet. Staff were present, but they were busy with something else. Placed an order. It was quite slow. Nothing to complain about regarding the sandwiches. The grey chairs are hideous. A number of them have been renewed/replaced.

3:00 PM. We are the only customers. Coffee was served without saucers under the cups. And without sugar or sweeteners.

Poor service; the staff was very unfriendly. They used the same gloves for everything. Another employee kept fixing his hair with those gloves. The chairs in the restaurant were worn out. Three men were busy with sandwiches; no one was attending to the customer.

I've never eaten such a bad filled baguette/toast. The hot sauce completely overpowered everything. You couldn't taste the pulled pork at all. And for that, €8.50 is way too much!

We had a sausage roll that was probably reheated in the microwave; it was tough, greasy, and lukewarm. The lady who served us showed no enthusiasm; to put it mildly, it is not a good advertisement for your business. There is a small terrace outside, but you sit in the crumbs left by the previous diner. We mentioned what we thought of the sausage roll, but there was no response.

Very disappointing experience. Ordered an egg salad sandwich. It was very poorly topped with egg salad, but filled with large pieces of cucumber, completely overpowering the taste of the egg salad. Additionally, I ordered a sausage; it was lukewarm, the grease was dripping off it, and the meat was tough. In short, the quality was far below par. What struck me was that there was no one in the shop, even though the city was very busy. I reported my complaints to the staff. The only response was, "Sir, this is our policy." No attempt was made to take the complaint seriously. All in all, very disappointing. For me, no reason to come back again.

It is a shame to see that Bakery Bart in Zutphen looks run-down😔 broken chairs, we assumed it looked just as good and tidy as in Apeldoorn and Epe. Too much sauce on the rolls. There is staff working here, sorry, but they are walking around with their heads down. The service is worthless; you say a polite thank you and you get a humming back. Do something about this! Terrible staff behind the counter, about six girls aged 15-18? Without a manager... First, you stand waiting for 15 minutes with one customer in front of you until it's finally your turn. Once it was our turn, the order was taken by a young lady wearing gloves. We paid in cash, and immediately afterwards, the young lady started touching the bread and fillings with her gloves on. I mentioned that I didn't find that very hygienic, and in the end, you get a rude response and a 'that's just how we do things here'... After that, they acted ridiculously towards each other until we got our sandwiches. It's a good thing we had already paid, otherwise I would have walked away. Employees like that really do a bad reputation for your business. Never again Bakker Bart for me.

Not a good experience at this branch today. Customer service was nowhere to be found. The staff were also bickering amongst themselves. Furthermore, the terrace could use a bit more attention. There are cushions, but they were inside in a cupboard.

Bad delivery service. I have ordered multiple times and something is missing every time. They don't deliver extra items; you have to come pick it up yourself, which makes no sense. Sorry, never ordering from you again.

Great place for a cup of coffee with a treat or lunch

The chairs were completely peeling off, and all the guests were talking about them. Super staff.

The staff wasn't friendly. They took our order, "chicken, bacon, and meatball." We weren't asked what we wanted on it, with or without lettuce, etc. The "white bars" were already gone around noon. The bacon was cold and uncooked, which is common at other Bakker Barts. The tables were dirty, the chairs worn out. The toilets were also downright filthy, and the trash can was overflowing... so, yeah, not what we're used to.

Slow staff, chairs look like they came from a dump. What a shabby mess.

Charged twice, but the sum up apparently didn't process the payment. It turns out it was debited twice, a scam? I want my second payment refunded to my account.

I went to Bakker bart to get inside on a cold afternoon. For some reason my internet was not active. I asked if they had wifi and they gave me username and I connected. I was meeting a friend in the area for lunch so I ordered a coffee and messaged my lunch date and waited for his arrival. I was there a while, but I would have left if there were customers waiting for a table. It wasn't but a few minutes and they turned the wifi off. I just thought it was rude to turn it off.

It took a very long time before we were helped

The baker sat next to me on the patio smoking while I was eating. Meanwhile, he was on the phone, complaining about things that are better discussed at home. It was clear he's a frequent visitor, because the cigarette butt bin was overflowing. The food was mediocre and overpriced for what we got.

Bakker Bart Zutphen is a perfect example of how things should be. The shop is always open on time, something that's unfortunately not a given in Zutphen. The selection is stable and comprehensive – products are always in stock and the quality is consistently good. They also readily consider and implement changes to sandwiches. A reliable and customer-friendly business where you know what to expect.

What a poor atmosphere this place has. They don't even offer sandwich delivery anymore. What do you expect for €22?

There are few staff there because of the long wait. It's a bit uninviting. Tiny little toilet. The B&B in Doetinchem is better in every way.

I got a Spanish panini, but unfortunately, it was absolutely inedible. The sandwich was heated in a kind of microwave, which made it really soggy and mushy. A huge disappointment for what I paid.

It's a shame that most of the chairs, including the leather, were damaged. They desperately need replacing. The specialty coffee was served in a small glass, and the tea was very thin. That's a drawback and quite expensive.

Selling mixed products over the counter, making sandwiches, and making coffee is a lost cause. Just when it's almost your turn to buy bread, she starts making coffee and making sandwiches. The interior is a disgrace, all the chairs and sofas are broken. The toilet hasn't been cleaned in days. The lamps are broken, and the floors are very dirty. The staff was very friendly and helpful, though. It's a shame that higher-ups aren't taking action.

The woman at the cashier was arrogant and unfriendly to a polite customer that tried to explain that their credit card machine might have problems, as it refused his card which instead was accepted everywhere else . Kept addressing the word in dutch, which the customer didn’t speak… strange example of unfriendliness in an otherwise friendly and beautiful little town

Ordered sandwiches through Thuisbezorgd. The delivery time was between 15 and 30 minutes. It arrived an hour and a half later after calling several times. Then I received the salmon sandwich, but the salmon was hard and discolored around the edges and therefore no longer good. And a chicken and bacon sandwich, the bottom of which was so wet that the bread fell apart. The muffins were so dry I couldn't swallow them, and we assume they were really old. How outrageous. Never experienced anything like this before, especially for that price.

Sandwiches are expensive, tasteless. The employee (the woman with the eyebrows) doesn't seem to enjoy her work. Every request is one too many. The interior is already written off 10 years ago; the chairs are rotten. Oh yeah, put the fan on by the front door; that'll save dozens of flies in the store. Not very hygienic. It's a shame about this lunch.

Yesterday, I bought 5 white and 5 brown rolls for breakfast today because I was leaving my vacation home. All 5 brown rolls were moldy. It's sad that they weren't fresh. The staff will be smoking outside instead of serving inside.

Despite the disappointing reviews, we still sat down on a simple terrace and enjoyed excellent coffee and stroopwafel cake, and it all looked a bit less expensive, for less than €5 (☕️&🍰), which is something you can't say enough about in the Netherlands these days...

Today I thought I'd buy some apple turnovers at Bakker Bart in Zutphen. Really inedible!! Bone dry, barely any filling. Garbage bin worthy. What a disappointment and a waste of money. No more Bakker Bart purchases for me.

Sandwiches and coffee are fine. The seats have lost their shine (completely worn seats) the staff is not really inviting but do correctly what they have to do.

Very young staff, nothing wrong with that but the ladies are not friendly at all. Making a sandwich is very difficult, they did not invent the job, so terribly slow. One of the ladies sat with the back of her glove on her dripping nose and then happily continued making sandwiches without changing gloves. Then there is a promotion, you would get a discount at Walibi if you order something. Didn't get anything, nobody got anything. Toilets terribly dirty! Tables very dirty! Absolutely not recommended to eat something here!

Here's a Hawaiian bun taken from the display case, but after 1 bite a large spot with rancid, fluffy mold. I could only get money back by contact. Never eat here again, damn it.

If you think you want a nice warm sandwich, then not here. They put it in a microwave for 1.5 minutes and then you get a lukewarm, soggy sandwich. In the past... people still took the trouble to heat something up in the oven

Had a cappuccino and a cake, it tasted good, but the girl behind the counter... She takes the stroopwafel cake from the display case with her hands (albeit with gloves), but it doesn't look good. She then brings the order outside, on a not clean table, with the same gloves she brushes the crumbs and old food scraps aside a little, and puts the tray down. So I ate it at a “dirty” table. Wide choice of delicious sandwiches, good service by super friendly staff

I ordered half a baguette here, the topping that was put in between was very little. I stood there while they were preparing it and of all the topping there were only 2 slices on the sandwich. I personally think it is very little for half a baguette.

Had two very expensive baqetes, very little American file and mine had very little tuna salad, and that for 8 euros, a real shame. And the coffee cup had lipstick from a previous customer on it. Luckily I saw it straight away and got another one. But I think the price is outrageous for what you get.

The selection of sandwiches in the display case that we could choose from could be counted on less than 2 hands. If you pay almost 45 euros (with 3 drinks), you expect something different. Delicious food, always good quality. What a shame is that smoking is allowed on the terrace. Due to its location and the open door, there is a strong smell of smoke inside when someone is smoking on the table near the front door.

There were 3 young girls working without any guidance, guess they tried their best but after waiting 15 minutes in a long line I left since it wasn’t going anywhere.

We were sitting here on the terrace with a friend, one person was hungry so went to get a sandwich, while we were waiting on the terrace outside, a woman in her 50s approaches us with a super arrogant attitude or we We went to get some food because we were keeping the terrace occupied (there were still plenty of free tables). We told her that our friend was getting something, she told us that we really can't sit here without eating something, so we repeated that food was being gotten again. She leaves and then sits at a table with 3 friends and chats while 1 person was drinking a cup of coffee at that table and the rest of them just sat there smoking a bit. Quite hypocritical I must say. The only star I give for this service is that the sandwich was still okay.

We come in and we start ordering. The atmosphere was immediately not good. After ordering and waiting for a while, we received our food. On first impression everything seemed fine. But, the muffin we ordered was dry. The pizza piece was soggy. We were not given a spoon or sugar with the coffee. And, a sandwich was missing. We expected the sandwich to still arrive and still be in the oven. After 5 minutes we asked, and the words we got back were: 'and that's what you're coming up with now.' Then the sandwich was not even brought to the table and angrily placed on the counter. I have never had a bad experience at Bakker Bart. This must be possible better

I ordered a sandwich here and at first it took an incredibly long time to receive. It was also a very mediocre sandwich that tasted very much like dough. When the sandwich was finished, we were very rudely shown the way to leave the building. Just because me and my friend were having a conversation with each other. I don't recommend it and the service, if you say so in Dutch, is just extremely disappointing.

Just ordered a frikandel sandwich here but it took a very long time until it was ready. Then ate the sandwich and there was very little sauce in it. In the end we were shown the door in a very unfriendly manner because we were talking a little too loudly. Very mediocre atmosphere and definitely not recommended!

Ordered 1 brie sandwich, a Hawaiian panini and 2 latte macchiato. The young lady who helped me would bring it to the table. The sandwich was crispy on the top and bottom and the middle sandwich had no heat. The panini was rock hard on the top and soggy and soft on the bottom. Both latte macchiatos were lukewarm. Back to the lady who helped me and told me my complaint. I wanted a new toast, panini and 2 coffees. This was not possible. The sandwich and panini were served as they should be. Asked to call in her boss/supervisor, but she was not present at the time. Asked if I could get my money back, but that was not possible because she needed permission from her boss. This lunch cost me almost €18. When I was talking to the employee I saw that only the oven was being used and not the grill/sandwich maker. That was the reason that the panini and the sandwich were not prepared properly. Asked why the grill device was not used and there was no answer. This lunch did not fill our stomachs or quench our thirst, but it still cost us €18. I am not used to this customer unfriendliness from Bakker Bart.

Coffee was tasty. Sandwich with reasonable filling and good taste. It's a bit of a shame that there is no cutlery available, so hands get dirty after a while. The interior could use a good makeover! No more upholstery on the sofa, chairs are also starting to wear out. When we were there, there was a lot of moisture on the windows and puddles on the ground underneath. Not really inviting to sit there again.

Ordered two cappacio sandwiches, the sandwiches were soggy and chewy. After 2 bites we went to the counter to report that the sandwiches were not OK. Received the answer that the rolls were soft due to the rainy weather. However, at other bakery bart branches, we always enjoy delicious, crispier fresh rolls. However, we had the impression that the sandwiches had been available at the branch in Zupthen for some time. We got there around 12 noon. Not customer friendly, I immediately realized that further discussion was pointless. So we ate the soggy sandwiches. Not recommended.

Helaas in deze vestiging geen Knabbelstengel kaneel verkrijgbaar. Doet ook niet onder van de rest van het aanbod, maar anders misschien een 5 gekregen ;)
