How fun and delicious can a birthday gift be? For the 2nd time a delicious Flakkeesch Tea Party at D'n Diek at Van Helden. What a treat; started with a delicious wild mushroom soup and then a variety of savory and sweet treats. Wrap with carpaccio, tuna sandwich, beet baguette with aged cheese and homemade onion compote, sausage roll, scones with jam and cream, and various other sweets. Add a pot of tea and enjoy. Highly recommended, just do it once. Thank you, Bakelaar family Middelharnis

We had a Flakkees tea party. Thought it was very pricey and quite little for the money. We had to ask for tea water, but in between we were not informed whether everything was okay. Tea was just some bags of Pickwick tea. And the friendliness was nothing to write home about either.

Filled foam was always delicious. Much harder since a few weeks/months. Shame. Pretzels are no longer available for sale separately Shame. It was always nice, but unfortunately. Pastries are still delicious.

Delicious coffee, very friendly staff. Special and very tasty pastries. Definitely come back here.

Coffee and pastries ordered, pastries were bad and old. Coffee mediocre, and the cappuccino also poor. Many products on the menu cannot be ordered. No staff response to complaint, just pay. Not recommended!!

Super nice service. Especially the dog lover who was once a skipper with her husband.......great guy.

Delicious ice cream and friendly staff

I am a food lover myself and I was walking here one afternoon and then I came across this. I had a delicious strawberry croissant myself and afterwards you got a nice cookie at a 4-star top café.

Unfriendly staff. And not receiving correct information. Very bad shopping experience. Don't come back here again.

Unfortunately, our Oostdijk club sandwiches were VERY sparsely filled and for a hefty price of 13.50.... Too bad, we really expected more.

Wonderful place to drink coffee. And the pastries taste more than good. It was two years ago that I was here. So it was time again.

Always a treat, never bought anything that wasn't tasty.

The pastries are delicious! You would swallow the pastry fork right after it...

There was an advertisement in the newspaper for the menu including Take away. So I'm going to get a sandwich during the holidays. What seems? No take away today because it will be too busy this afternoon with high tea, etc. So because you don't have enough staff or don't have your affairs in order in time, are you closing your take away? People count on something like that, especially during the holidays! Scandalous!!!

As always, delicious things, crinkle plates, bridesmaids egg cakes and boluses. And don't forget the delicious tompouces

The coffee, cappuccino and lunch at bakery Van Helden were a success. The Oostdijk and Westdijk club sandwiches were super tasty!! The service is attentive and friendly. Of course I brought some local items for home; a Diekslof (apparently the house specialty) and Zeeland boluses ;-). If I ever come to Middelharnis again, I know where we should be.

Delicious pastries and friendly staff

In the past I have always been satisfied with Van Helden, but in recent years the quality has decreased, while prices have only increased. Sometimes the cheese biscuits are old/tough, other times everything is baked too brown. We recently bought 15 apple fritters (at €2/piece), and I think they are quite black (see photo), and the apples themselves contain quite a bit of core residue. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I think you can expect a "traditional baker" to be able to bake apple fritters.

Top products! Lots of choice of pastries. Both fresh and frozen. Also delicious ice cream in the summer. You can also have a delicious lunch here.

The ski points are great, as are the marzipan and other pastries and chocolate

Got fresh tompouces! The baker still had to cut them and add the whipped cream. Not normally so tasty!!

Goede koffie en heerlijk gebak.

Het ijs is heerlijk. Wat ons bevreemdde is dat we om 20.45 geen slagroom meer konden krijgen, terwijl de winkel pas om 21.00 sluit. Na ons om 20.50 kwamen er nog nieuwe klanten en deze werden weggestuurd dat de winkel al dicht is.

Hele goede bakker die een hoge kwaliteit levert. Dit is een echte aanrader.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter, alles tiptop sauber. Die Kuchen und Törtchen sind ein Gedicht, nicht nur in der Optik sondern auch geschmacklich. Wir mussten also mehrfach dort hin gehen. Die Hausspezialität Ski Punt ist ein Muss!

Deze banketbakker heeft ook een geweldige lunchroom. De cappuchino met skipunt is geweldig lekker. Ook de Lunchwrap is overheerlijk. Dit us het ultieme genieten

Zeer uitgebreide keuze. Tevens lunchroom met heerlijke gerechten op het menu.

Wij kwamen tussen de boodschappen door voor koffie met gebak bij van Helden. Zoveel lekkers, zoveel keuzes! De skipunt, de tompouce in tig varianten, of juist iets hartigs... heerlijk! Vriendelijke medewerkers en je ziet de bakker bezig op de achtergrond.

Die Brötchenauswahl war etwas klein und man musste sich selbst bedienen. Das Baugette war außen sehr hart. Ist eher eine Konditorei.
