De beste cake van Nederland komt bij Van der Spoel uit Stellendam weg. En ik kan het weten want ik zit in het transport van koek en cake!

Terrible treatment of customers. In the past, a stamp for every €5. Now they are doubling that to a stamp for every €10. Even though older customers sometimes don't even reach €10. We spend hundreds of euros a month at the bakery ourselves. You come in once for groceries worth €29. Then they round the stamps down to 2 as well. Ridiculous. Unfriendly to customers!

Dabbestraat 5-7The cookies were great, but the employee was terrible. My husband specifically asked for a savory vegetarian pastry, and he received one with small pieces of bacon (we only noticed when we bit into it). These things happen, and luckily he's easygoing. However, when we went back to the bakery to mention it, we were just laughed at. We left the pastry there, and they didn't offer us anything else. It's a real shame, because the products are truly wonderful, but the employee was awful.
